The Department of Labor National Information, Security, and Geospatial Technology Consortium (NISGTC) Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career and Training (TAACCCT) Grant provides RVC with the funds to expand and improve core curriculum as well as prepare students for employment in high-wage, high-skill occupations.

2. The NISGTC represents a group of seven
colleges, jointly awarded the TAACCCT
Grant along with their affiliates.
RVC has partnered with Moraine Valley
Community College so that the benefits
of the TAACCCT Grant can be extended to
our students.
The TAACCCT Grant provides these
colleges with the funds to:
 expand and improve core curriculum
 prepare students for employment in
high-wage, high-skill occupations.

5.  In exchange for the funds DOL provided,
we must prove that graduates are able to
find and keep employment.
 Accessing participant employment
data and wages after program
completion.
 Participant SSN’s are used to retrieve
employment and wage data from the
Illinois Department of Employment
Security.
 This is the only outside entity that will see
participant SSN’s.
 Other information gathered on the
Participant Application is reported to
OCCRL in a de-identified report.
 This information is gathered for research
and grant monitoring purposes only.
