2. When?
1. Now / at the moment.
Eg. I’m watching TV.
2. Temporary situations.
Eg. I’m reading Hard Times by Charles
Dickens (this week, …).

3. He’s a runner.
He usually runs in the
morning.
Now he is running.

4. They are cooking. / They’re cooking.

5. He is playing the guitar.
He’s playing the guitar.

6. They are cutting people’s
hair.
