7. THE PROPOSAL
The FILM CITY CUM MULTIMEDIA CENTRE is one-stop facilitator for all media and film
needs where we can understand the things happening in our world today from a
film maker point of view and promote Tourism as well.

In terms of the number of films produced each year, Indian cinema is firmly on
top of the pile with >1,600 & the value Indian Film industry was 138 Billion INR
in 2014. Local production houses will invest here for film making & new
opportunities and employment to the local will be generated.
Socially
North India enfolds in its lap immense talent. In order to avail opportunities
related to media careers one can have a much better start, if opportunities are
available at a place nearer to their homes.
Architecturally
The Art of the Moving Picture could be a testing ground for new architectural
forms and concepts. Film also shapes public perceptions of architecture. As a
mass medium, film plays an important role in the way architecture is received
and interpreted. Even Architecture Graduates are Animating the Film Industry.
