The topic can vary, but I would like my sources to be on the department of homeland
security, and the issue of terrorism in the United StatesStudents are required to submit an
annotated bibliography of a minimum of 12 primary sources from peer-reviewed, social
science literature on the terrorism and homeland security topic of your choice, and you
must put the topic of the research paper at the top of the bibliography (Some 2 – 4
sentences that explain the research topic you hope the bibliography will support).I will
allow up to 5 of the sourced citations in the bibliography to be from my lecture modules or
the assigned readings for this course. Keep in mind that the later Research Paper will
require a minimum of 5 course material (lecture or readings) cited in the text of the paper.
Sources from media or popular literature will not count toward the requirement of 12 peer-
reviewed sources in the bibliography but will be accepted as citations in the Research
Paper assigned later in the course.For every cited item, you need to give 1-2 sentences on
how you think that will support what you plan for your research paper.I only expect 4-5
sentences for each of your bibliography’s annotations with one or two of those sentences
explaining how the source will likely support your research paper.
