1. Jobs Search
I have looked at many different jobs that I could possibly go into and have know decided Estate
Agency is the job that I would like to go into after university. However when I started looking for jobs
I didn’t know what I wanted to do but thought marketing would be the best as it related to my work
experience and the course. I started a log of different job searches I did and the stages I went
through to get to the decision of being an Estate Agent.
I first looked on numerous marketing jobs websites as shown below.

2. I decided to see Rachel Parkes about what the best step would be to get my long term goal of being
a property developer as shown above. She advised me to look at the Prospects website to see the
job descriptions and see which best suited my interests.

4. I went back to Rachel Parkes a few weeks later and decided I would like to stay in Leeds and had an
idea of being an estate agent but wasn’t sure if there was any other jobs that would match my
previous work experience. After discussing all the options I decided to apply for Estate Agents jobs
on numerous jobs sights as shown below.

5. I applied for 20 Estate agent jobs but more were looking for previous experience so I decided to get
work experience with Dee Atkinson & Harrison while I was looking for a full time job
