2. Background
Plan based on recommendations from the Transit Development Plan (TDP) and
defined by two different designs
The realignment, enhancement and addition of new feeder service to the new rail
stations within Reston and Tysons Corner;
The implementation of a circulator bus system within Tysons Corner
The complete plan proposes to
Modify 22 routes,
Create 6 new routes,
Eliminate 8 routes and
Establish the 5 route internal circulator bus system
A priority for this plan is to provide linkages with regional transportation service
providers and transportation modes

Tysons Circulator Shuttles
The circulator bus system is proposed to operate
seven days a week at 10-minute intervals during
business hours.
“Branding” of Circulator routes is undetermined;
