Here are your morning announcements

1. Spartan Athletic BBQ!
Good Morning Spartans!
This is just a reminder that today at lunch you
can purchase tickets for Wednesday's BBQ.
We'll have burgers, hot dogs, salads, drinks
and chips. Come out, fill your bellies and
support Spartan Athletics!!!

2. We Walk for Terry
Students in the Rec and Fitness
Leadership Class would like to thank all the
staff and students for an awesome Terry
Fox Event on Friday. In total, we raised
$3500 with online donations still coming in
over the weekend. As a school we should
be very proud to know that we did our part
in this National Campaign to fight Cancer.
Way to go Spartans!

3. Volleyball, Volleyball,
Volleyball…
There is an away game tomorrow with a
2:00 pm departure, and a practice
Wednesday after school.
There will also be an away game on Thursday
with a 2:00 pm departure.
Go Spartans!

4. Grade 9 Ultimate Frisbee
Any Grade 9 Student who wants to be
part of a fun Ultimate Frisbee
tournament on October 13th should
come to the Library to sign up. This
tournament is always a fun time for the
Grade 9’s that participate. No experience
necessary. Please see Ms. Jeffrey in the
library for details.

5. This Maker Monday, we will be playing with
Spheros. A Sphero is a remote control Sphere
that can be controlled with an app. We will be
messing around with the Spheros on Monday
in the Library at 11:10am! Grade 9s are
especially welcome!

6. Are you interested in languages? Travel? Do you want
to know more than just what you can look up on
Google? Come see Madame McPherson ANYTIME...
she has some info on CEFR exchanges both 2 month
and 3 month options, as well as, some summer
opportunities to do an exchange to either France,
Spain, or Italy for the 2017-2018 school year. Carpe
Diem... Seize the day and come speak with Madame to
find out some more info and collect an application
form!
