When she was in school, she always got good grades. Her best subject was art. She could paint like a true artist. When she was older, she had a museum in the palace, with all of her artwork in it. Everyone loved her art. They thought she was amazing.
Louise was married to the Governor of Canada. He was pretty much in charge of Canada, so when Canada needed a name for a new province, he nominated his wife’s name. People liked the name, so from that day on, the province next to British Colombia and Saskatchewan became Alberta.
Today, Alberta is the Canadian province next to British Colombia and Saskatchewan. It is shaped like Saskatchewan, except for the bottom left corner. The bottom left corner is filled with mountains, and on a map it is cut off and bumpy. Like this on the right.
