Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. =============================================================
Jesus’ blood and life are linked
John 6:53-54 (KJV) 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Leviticus 17:13-14 (KJV) 13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. 14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
Gen 7 is Noah’s flood. Here we see that we can eat meat. But this is in Deuteronomy well after the flood.
Deuteronomy 12:23 (KJV) 23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
Going back to the beginning. How did God create Life?
Tell the short story.
God made man in the Garden of Eden.
Woman and man sinned.
They were kicked out.
They were told to be fruitful and multiply, and they did. Here we are.
All people were focused on evil continually, except Noah and his family.
God told Noah to build an Ark.
Genesis 2:7 (KJV) 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 6:17 (KJV) 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Genesis 7:15 (KJV) 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
Genesis 7:22 (KJV) 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
Job 33:4 (KJV) 4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Going back to the beginning
This says all living animals were vegetarians.
So before the flood, everything that has life were vegetarians.
Genesis 1:30 (KJV) 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Genesis 6:17 (KJV) 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Biblically to be alive you must have breath. You must breathe the air of Heaven. From the ground to the waters in the sky is Heaven. Gen ….
God told Noah to build an Ark
Once the ark was finished.
Where does the Lord have to be to say “Come into the Ark”?
Genesis 7:1 (KJV) 1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Genesis 7:15 (KJV) 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Noah is not IN the Ark.
The animals are fully grown
Noah was 600 years old at this time.
I suspect Noah a=had learned a lot in those 600 years.
I suspect Noah thought of bringing babies onboard the Ark.
After all babies:
Take up less space
Eat less
Have less waste
If the babies fall down they get up again. If adults fall down we break or just lay there.
Babies will live longer to have more babies of there own. After all that’s why your bringing them on the ark.
You talk to an athiest or evolutionist and they tell you “Noah couldn’t have put all those animals on the ark.”
You ask them, “How many animals were there?” They will say they don’t know.
You ask them, “How big was the Ark?” and they will say they don’t know.
You don’t know how many animals there were, you don’t know how many animals the ark could hold, you just know it couldn’t have happened.
Genesis 8:3 (KJV) 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
Started
Genesis 7:11 (KJV) 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
Ended
Genesis 8:14 (KJV) 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
After 1 year and ten days since the fountains of the great deep broke up…
Where does the Lord have to be to tell them to “Go forth”?
Genesis 8:16 (KJV)
16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. Genesis 8:16 (KJV)
Wait you mean to tell me this is a vegetarian?
In public school I was taught the K9 teeth were the example of a meat eater. They were there so the animal could tear into the flesh of other animals and eat them.
Herbivores, plant eaters, on the other hand, had flat teeth to grind down the plants.
The Bible says all animals originally created as plant eaters.
You mean to tell me this is a vegetarian?
Advance slide.
Yes! It’s a panda bear eating bamboo.
Wait a minute. Surely this is a carnivore.
Advance slide.
Nope it’s a fruit bat.
What was the biggest change after the flood?
We could eat animals!
Now the animals had a fear of us. Before the flood, animals did not fear man. We weren’t going to eat them
After the flood, we are to eat animals so the animals now fear us.
Before the flood animals were used for sacrifice, their skin was used for clothing. If the animals did not fear us then, that implies the animals willingly became sacrifices for us. A type of Jesus.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Genesis 9:3 (KJV)
Before the flood, animals were herbivores. During the 1,000 year rein of Christ God says he’s going to make this new heaven and new earth like if was before the flood, Garden of Eden like conditions. The animals will once again become herbivores.
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. Isaiah 11:7 (KJV)
God is going to remake the planet during the 1000 year rein into Garden of Eden like conditions.
Psalm 37:1-3 (KJV) 1
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
