Submit a request via PowerApps

5. 1. Submit a request via PowerApps.
• Create a SharePoint List
• Create desired columns in the list
• Customize the list in PowerApps
• Publish the App

Add an entry in SharePoint list

• Open PowerApps App that we created in Step 1
• Create a new entry in the app and save it
• This will create an entry in the SharePoint List

Send the request for Approval as an
Adaptive Card

• When an item is created in SharePoint List, a flow is
triggered
• As a result, an Adaptive card is posted to the Approver
• The flow waits for the approver to respond to the adaptive
card
• Depending on the response, subsequent steps are executed
• SharePoint list item updated with approval status

• If the approver approves the request
• A Team provisioning request is initiated
• After the team is created, the requestor is added as a
member of the team
• The requestor is then promoted to the owner
• Teams provisioning status updated in SharePoint List

Send email to requestor on request
completion

• On completion of Teams provisioning, an email is sent to
the requestor informing about request completion
• Email sent status updated in SharePoint list.
• If the request is rejected, the requestor gets an email
informing the same and SharePoint list item is updated with
corresponding status.
