2. Before you go on ReadAbout, you need to take the SRI. It’s easy! This is how!

3. At the desktop, click on the SRI icon. SRI icon

4. Here’s the SRI welcome screen

5. Type your user name Type your password When you’re done, Click on GO

6. Click on Your THREE FAVORITE types of books to read. Then click the orange NEXT to go on.

7. These are the directions. Click on the best word to finish the sentence. Then click the orange NEXT to go on.

8. You have a practice test before the real one starts. Click on the orange OK Button.

9. You have about 3 practice questions. Click on the word that will best fill in the blank. Click on the best word

10. When you finish the practice test you will see this screen. Click the orange NEXT to go on.

11. Now you have the real test questions. Click on the word that best finishes the sentence. You might have up to 20 questions. Please take your time! This isn’t a race! Do your best and take your time ! Click the orange Next to go on.

12. This screen tells you that you are all done! Let your teacher know that you have finished. You can click the VIEW button to see your Recommended Reading Report.

13. This is what your Report looks like. Please stay here until your teacher can print out a copy of this report.

14. When your report is printed, you can exit out by clicking the X in the right corner of the screen.

15. After you quit your report, you are back to the Thank You Screen. You can click on the QUIT button.

16. This is the Goodbye screen. Now you’re all done!
