Client: Minister of interior(MOI),UAE Dec’15 – Till date
Role: DATASTAGE SPECIALIST
Project Description: SITA Project
The creation of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) came parallel to the creation of the state, as the MOI was
viewed as a fundamental federal entity. Total unification of the police and security organs remained as an
essential target which gained general consensus. His Highness, the President of the UAE, together with his
brothers, their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members & Rulers of the emirates were the most
enthusiastic about attaining this goal. Minister of interior is government department. The department main
objective of the project is to capture the visa, residence, emirates ID, blacklist data and passport data and
loading to the oracle data base. In the project the data was coming various Source system like oracle and
text files. Congo’s is used as the reporting tool.
Responsibilities:
 Monitored and controlled with all parties to resolve early life issues associated with infrastructure
operations.
 Worked with the customers and implement & test business continuity & DR Failover plans.
 Project managed with the customers Service Manager and suppliers to agree and implement an effective
operations model for the infrastructure.
 Applied professional project processes around configuration management, scope management & change
control, planning, risk & issue management, communications management.
 Developed Test Plan that included the scope of the release, entrance and exit criteria and overall test
strategy. Created detailed Test Cases and Test sets and executed them manually

Project Description: EDW Project
Ford is the major manufacturer of motor vehicles. The main objective of the project is to outsource the
Strategy, Design, Development, Coding, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance of the Enterprise Data
warehouse. This Project would cover the subject areas such as Vehicle Product Offering (VPO), Volume
Mix Rates (VMR), Posts Structure Cost (PSC), and Account for Production Material (APM) and Control
Vehicle Financials (CVF). Data from various source systems is gathered into a staging area, where data is
cleansed and then finally moved into an Enterprise Data warehouse Database. Datastage is used for
extracting data from various Sources to Staging area; Staging area to DW. Business Objects is used as the
reporting tool.
Responsibilities:
 Worked on all phases of data warehouse development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing,
implementation, and support.
 Involved in documentation for Design Review, Code Review and Production Implementation.
 Collaborated with EDW team in, Low Level design document for mapping the files from source to target
and implementing business logic.
 Coordinate with team members and administer all onsite and offshore work packages.
 Prepared documentation including requirement specification
 Worked with Developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in job logic as well as performance.
 Participated in weekly status meetings.
 Implemented multi-node declaration using configuration files (APT_Config_file) for performance
enhancement.
 Debug, test and fix the transformation logic applied in the parallel jobs

Project Description: Zain Meddle East (Connectiva Systems)
Connectiva Systems is a revenue management software company whose solutions enable
telecom operators to reduce revenue leakage, minimize fraud, improve operational effectiveness
and increase over-all profitability. Connectiva delivers an award winning multi-application analytics
platform for extracting, collecting, analyzing and extracting insight from large data sets aggregated
across varied data sources. Leading communication service providers including T-Mobile, Bharti,
Zain and Videotron with geographically dispersed operations, rapid subscriber growth and next
generation networks have chosen Connectiva to minimize leakage and fraud exposure, gain better
visibility to network operations and increase over-all revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
 Developing and scheduling the jobs (Unix shell scripts) for fetching the files from client location to ETL
server for processing.
 Created queries to compare data between two databases to make sure data is matched.
 Used the DataStage Director and its run-time engine to schedule running the solution, testing and
debugging its components, and monitoring the resulting executable versions on an ad hoc or scheduled
basis.
 Used the ETL Data Stage Director to schedule and running the jobs, testing and debugging its
components & monitoring performance statistics.
 Performed the Unit testing for jobs developed to ensure that it meets the requirements.
