   Goal is to determine the most efficient and optimal methods of
    supporting patient care delivery which can be achieved
    through improving quality and efficiency of the available
    resources.
   Focus on managing patient flow - the movement of patients
    through a set of locations in a health care facility.
   Have an organized and smooth coordination with local
    organizations like LIONS CLUB
   Focus on proper transporting of patients and other activities.
   Focus on overall productivity, reduce waiting lines, and
    generally improve the patient’s overall experience—all of
    which helps to improve the growth of the organization
    financially.
   Flexibility in the working hours of the hospital.
   Aim to develop “Decision support systems” for effective
    capacity planning in a hospital environment
   Reduce the defect rate of the lenses.
 Importance is given to Quality and safety needs
 They set up factory so that they can focus on eye care
 They provide similar services to both the paid and
  non-paying patients.
 They conduct camps to increase the volume of
  patients in rural areas.
 The main focus is on improving the total health of the
  country
 Unique characters in the model which will make it
  feasible to transfer are:
 20 % of population need glasses
 1 % has cataract
 Intervention is only one time, its not like chronic
  disease
 Surgeons take only 10 minutes per surgery while
  industry standard is 30 minutes.
 Infection rate is only 4 % per 10,000 cases when
  compared to 6 per 10,000 in UK.
 400 surgeries per doctor per month when compared
  to 25 surgeries per doctor per month
 Recruitment of nurses.
 Doctors work 60 hours a week.
 Set up Factory to produce IOL(INOCULAR LENS)
 To recruit and retain the doctors
 To change the number of hours of working
 To reduce the defects in the lenses
 To concentrate on patient volume to grow financially

Goal is to determine the most efficient and optimal methods of supporting patient care delivery which can be achieved through improving quality and efficiency of the available resources.  Focus on managing patient flow - the movement of patients through a set of locations in a health care facility.  Have an organized and smooth coordination with local organizations like LIONS CLUB
  • 5. Focus on proper transporting of patients and other activities.  Focus on overall productivity, reduce waiting lines, and generally improve the patient’s overall experience—all of which helps to improve the growth of the organization financially.  Flexibility in the working hours of the hospital.  Aim to develop “Decision support systems” for effective capacity planning in a hospital environment  Reduce the defect rate of the lenses.
  • 6.  Importance is given to Quality and safety needs  They set up factory so that they can focus on eye care  They provide similar services to both the paid and non-paying patients.  They conduct camps to increase the volume of patients in rural areas.
