My learning from task 3 : Rugby World Cup

2. My Essential Question “Should the Rugby World Cup be able to change the school terms?”

3. Working in a group I learnt that team work is important. I feel that a good team would be is that they know what they are doing and that they would contribute equally. Our group does not do any of those things.

4. Managing time and work I learnt that managing your time and work is important. I feel that if you manage your time effectively you will be the person who has the best grade. I feel good about how I have managed my time and work better than I usually would.

5. Researching I feel that I did well researching because I was the leader of the group and got most/all research gathered I got most of my answers done quickly and all of my answers had relevant information.

6. Evaluating Info I learnt that evaluating information is important. It is important because it is checking the question and is a big part of answering the question. I learnt that you need multiple sources that state the same thing if you want to use that information. I learnt what how to work out what is relevant or not. I feel that I can evaluate information well

7. What was challenging/difficult I feel that our lack of teamwork was difficult because it effected how much work we got done . I also think that because it has caused me to do homework for hours. That is what I think was challenging/difficult

8. What was successful I feel that the answers to our sub question and essential question were really quality and I am proud how I combined the answers of the sub question to answer my opinion based essential question.

9. How did this task change your thinking This task changed my thinking. It made me learn hard work makes you feel good and that it is all worth it. I feel good about the work I have done in Authentic Task: Rugby World Cup.
