challenges from the healthcare
providers, and take them through
a robust development process of
analysis, ideation and financing,
in order to develop targeted
solutions, leading to business plan
propositions and ultimately new
start-ups.

Smart-Up Lab

• An international 3-months e-Lab
programme for healthcare future
leaders organised parallelly in Lodz
(Poland), Naples (Italy) and Tartu
(Estonia).
• You can learn about ideation
processes, business planning,
entrepreneurship, value creation,
market research , financing or fast
prototyping.
• The programme is dedicated for
students, PhDs, entrepreneurs and
researchers from different
disciplines: medicine, life science,
economy, IT or similar. You can
already have your idea for
innovation, but it’s not a must.
StarShip
application deadline:
31 January 2020
• A part-time, nine-month program,
where fellows learn to apply a proven
and action-based approach to find
solutions to challenges, verifying user
requirements, and identifying unmet
health care needs.
• Throughout the programme, the teams
are coached and mentored by the
StarShip academic and industry
mentors.
• The selected participants are provided
with tuition fee and travel grants.
