3. Command Line Enhancements
The command line now offers even more
functionality and configuration options. Dock
it at the top or bottom of the screen, or float it
transparently over the drawing window.
Easily view your command history, access
recent commands, and activate options within
commands by clicking on them at the
command line.

4. Property Edit Preview
Dynamically preview edits made
with the Properties or Quick
Properties palette before applying
them to selected objects. See the
effect of modifying properties such
as color or linetype to quickly
evaluate options before you make
changes.

5. Array Improvements
New enhancements to
associative arrays, including a
contextual ribbon tab during
array creation, enable you to
create objects in a pattern faster
and more easily. With path
arrays, you can also specify
whether to maintain a fixed
number of objects, or to
automatically adjust the count
based on path length and item
spacing.

6. Edit Multiple Hatch Objects
The Hatch Edit contextual
ribbon tab and visor now
accommodate multiple
selected hatch
objects, enabling you to
perform edits more quickly.

7. Strikethrough Text Style
A new “strikethrough” style has been
added to the editor for
text, multileaders, dimensions, and
tables. This complements the underline
and overline options previously available
in AutoCAD LT software.

8. External Reference Path Enhancement
With the new Default Reference Path
option, files attached to drawings as
underlays or external references are
now given a relative path by
default, defining their location in
relation to the host drawing.
This feature helps AutoCAD LT 2013
to maintain links more easily if files or
folders are moved.

9. Updated DWG File Format
AutoCAD LT 2013 software
introduces an updated file format to
accommodate technology and
performance improvements in the
software. AutoCAD LT 2013 is
backwards-compatible with all
previous versions of AutoCAD LT
and AutoCAD® drafting software and
enables you to save drawings in a
wide variety of other
formats, ranging back to R14
DWGTM and R12 DXFTM.

10. AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac
Work on your platform of choice with licensing
entitlements that give you the flexibility to
activate either the Windows® or Mac® version
of AutoCAD LT 2013 software, regardless of
which OS version you purchased. You can
switch from one OS to the other, with a
maximum of two activations per year.
