While sometimes portrayed negatively, the genre can also highlight positive aspects of artists' lives. because people would be able to know the names of the artist I‘m speaking about also they would know how important they
artist are as some of them would be they icon. Which would also make my audience more likely to buy my magazine. UK Trap &
Rap is a subgenre of grime and American trap and gangster rap this music originated from several artist in Brixton such as
sneakbo. This music is generally known as bad music as it portrays the artist lives in a negative view however they're certain
songs who portray the type of artist life in a positive way. This genre was created to express to the government and the UK how
certain people are forced to live they life because of how the area they live has been set up. This subgenre has only recently
started becoming public and famous with such songs as “Delete my number” – section boys which has over 1 million views on
YouTube. I have used this genre because many people tend to listen to it in the London area especially myself. Also by picking this
genres as my magazine will be sold in the London community it would help gain my magazine awareness.
