Chapter 1 Introduction
It took about 8 months of bashing my skull against the

keyboard to obtain the following manual. Although I'm
not a millionaire yet, it's like Botmaster says “No one i s

The contents of this manual are designed with the
professional marketer in mind. Newbies may still have
trouble adapting to the terminology and technical
aspects of certain portions of this manual. This is why

Chapter 2 SEO Methods
Search Engine Optimization 101
If you are already familiar with SEO just skip this
part. It's not long,
but it might be useless if you already know it.
That being said, this
isn't meant to be a complete course on search
engine optimization. It's
just meant to bring us all up to speed on the
basics of search engine
marketing.
Building backlinks is the name of the game, and you
probably bought
Xrumer because you want more backlinks to your
site. The more links
are pointing to your site, the more important your
site will be to
Google.
PageRank is how Google decides the importance of

your page.
Generally speaking the higher the PageRank, the
better it is to have a
link on that site!
Anchor text is the clickable text found on web
pages. It points to a web
address (URL) using words that describe the
content. For example if
you had a site about bananas, you would want to
link to your web page
using the word “bananas” as the anchor text.
Just as important as anchor text is the text
surrounding the anchor,
before and after. Observe the following 3 links:
<a href=”http://buy-bananas-online.com”>Buy
Bananas</a>
<a href=”http://buy-bananas-online.com”>Buy
Bananas</a> Now
Buy Fruits, <a href=”http://buy-bananas-
online.com”>Buy
Bananas</a> and Vegetables
The first example has no text surrounding the
anchor. The second
example has the word “Now” after the anchor. The
word “Now” is not
semantically relevant to the word bananas. The
third example has
semantically relevant terms before and after the
anchor. This is ideal
and this is what we teach.
Text rotation, Anchor texts and Semantics
If your keyword is “buy bananas”, your subject line
might be
something like Buy Bananas Online or something like
that. We use the
variation system to make the text different for

each post. The point of
doing this is that when Google analyzes your
backlinks, they won't
appear to be all the same.
Translation: If Google sees all your backlinks and
all your subjects
lines are exactly the same, you won't get as much
value because
Google will think “The same person is posting these
links”. On the
other hand, if the links are different and the
subject is different,
Google will award you high value to your backlinks.
Let's do a basic example using the variation
system:
{Buy|Purchase|Obtain} Bananas {Online|Today|For
Cheap}
{} indicates to Xrumer to choose one of the terms
between { and }
randomly, using | as a separator. If you use the
above example in
Xrumer's message window and hit Test, the result
might be:
Obtain Bananas For Cheap
or
Purchase Bananas Online
or any other permutation.
Xrumer gives you the mathematical value of how much
text is
possible. The more varations you use, the greater
this number – which
is a good thing!
In this case, you can see the basics of the
variation system. Now we
need to apply this to our links. The technique I
use is simple. Take

your 3 top keywords, put them in an anchor.
This could mean formatting to Bbcode if you are
posting to forums, so
here it is in Bbcode:
[url=http://www.domain.com]{Bananas|Cheap Bananas|
Ripe
Bananas}[/url]
Alternatively, you can use a links file like this:
[url=http://www.domain.com]
#file_links[file.txt,1,S] [/url]
The command #file_links[file.txt,1,S] tells Xrumer
to choose one line
from the file “file.txt” . This is especially
useful later on when we deal
with creating replies that sound legit!
You can also use variations with the nickname
field.
Advanced variations using identifiers:
[url=http://www.domain.com]{#1Bananas|Cheap
Bananas|Ripe
Bananas}[/url]
Using this as your anchor, you can now put the same
string in the
subject line: {#1Bananas|Cheap Bananas|Ripe
Bananas}
Why not use is as your nickname, email address as
well? What this
accomplishes is simple. Xrumer will randomly pick
either Bananas,
Cheap Bananas or Ripe Bananas. Whichever it picks
it will stick with
everywhere you use {#1Bananas|Cheap Bananas|Ripe
Bananas}. This
allows a great deal of flexibility when creating
anchor text variation
and thematic replies!

In this last example you'll see how to combine
variations with your
anchors and your surrounding text:
{Fruit|Exotic Fruits|Tropical Fruits},
[url=http://www.buy-bananasonline]{
Buy Bananas|Buy Bananas Online|Buy Ripe Bananas}
and
{Mangos|Plums|Pears|Peaches}
The final result is constantly different, which
ensures Google and other
search engines will eat it up and ask for seconds!
In this tutorial I will show you how to build
profile only links. This is
a very basic tutorial for all the noobies out there
so please dont flame
the post.
Profile Creation From A-Z
Profile posting is a very effective use of Xrumer.
The benefit of profile
only posting is that your links tend to stay up
longer, as well your
speed of posting is a lot faster over forum
posting.
In this tutorial I will be using the default
LinkList (LinksList id1.txt)
for demonstration purposes only. I never use the
default list as they are
heavy spammed and in my option do not add any value
in terms of
long term success of your link building campaigns.
Always harvest
your own link list!
Ok, lets get started
Open up Xrumer, and then click on Project --> New

Now let’s start filling out our project settings.
When doing profile only blasts it's important to
make each profile
unique. If your posts (profiles) are not unique
that it opens a massive
footprint that Google can see and in my experience
treat your links
with much less weight.
Nick: Xrumer#random[a..z] - this will create
usernames such as
Xrumera, Xrumerb, Xrumerc, etc. You can also use
the {|} method for
usernames as well such as {XrumerMike|XrumerTed|
XrumerSteve}.
You can combine the two like this:
{xrumer#random[a..z]|mikea#random[a..z]}
There are a million other way to slice and dice
this, but this will get us
started.
Pass: Put whatever password you like here. Just
keep in mind that

some forums require you to meet certain complexity
standards. So
usually I make a password like: password1
Real Name: This will auto generate when entering
your nick and for
the most part can be left alone.
Homepage: This is where you will enter your links.
This will show up
in the profile as just links with no anchor. You
can enter just one link
here or rotate them like {http://homepage.com|
http://homepage.com/deeplink.html|
http://homepage2.com} or you can
store your links in a .txt file (one per line) and
call it like this;
#file_links[C:LinksList.txt,1,L]
ICQ: I normally use a random 9 digit number
starting with 5 you can
do that like this;
5#random[0..9]#random[0..9]#random[0..9]#random
[0..9]#random[0..9]#random[0..9]#random[0..9]#r
andom[0..9]
which would give you a number like this; 543631115
City: Here I just pull a random city from a .txt
file. Just like links you
can add a city (one per line) in a .txt file and
call it like this;
#file_links[C:ListOfUSCities.txt,1,L]
Country: I normally just use;
{USA|US|United States|Canada|CA}
*** Please note that the city and state will
automatically try and pull from x_fields.txt
***
Area Of Work & Hobbies
I point a lot of fields in the Xrumer AI (self
learning) to use these

fields. You may notice a lot of forums have
addition (custom profile
fields) where you can enter your own text in. I
love these fields as it
gives me an opportunity to stuff relevant keywords
into the profiles
Xrumer is creating.
Normally I split these up. Let's say im promoting
the xrchat.info site. I
would create two text files; one with my primary
keywords, and the
other with secondary keywords.
List 1 might look like this;
xrumer
xrumer forums
xrumer tutorials
List 2 might look like;
backlinks
link building
SEO
I usually use the Google keyword tool to generate
these lists. Once you
have your lists you can use the {|} to enter them
into these fields or
you can call from a .txt file like this:
#file_links[C:primarykeyword.txt,1,L]
Signature: This is where you can put your anchor
text.
If you are promoting only one url you can enter
something likethis;
[url=http://xrchat.info]{xrumer|xrumer forums|
xrumer tutorials}[/url]
the above will rotate the following; xrumer, xrumer
forums, xrumer
tutorials
If you wanted to add some of your primary keywords

before your
anchor link you could do someting like this;
#file_links[C:primarykeyword.txt,1,L]
[url=http://xrchat.info]{xrumer|xrumer forums|
xrumer tutorials}[/url]
Email Settings
There are pretty self explanatory. Just fill in the
basic info. There are
some other tutorials around the fourms that explain
the mail settings in
more detail.
The rest of the fields you can fill in with
whatever you like (xrumer
will not allow them to be empty) as they will serve
no relevance to
your profile post
Your settings should look something like this;


Once you’re all done save your work.
Now we need to get xrumer ready for profile only
post. To do this we
go to Options --> Advanced Options
and select the following:

Click save. Now your ready to start posting. Select
your link list and
click start.

Once finished you can view profiles here:

The High PR Parasite Doorway Method
Simply put, this is a method where you steal
another site's page rank
by creating a page on their domain and then having
many pages link to
it via Xrumer. For example, let's say you create a
page on a high PR
domain such as http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/
(Create a
blog).
Parasite pages are nothing new. If you’re not
familiar with the concept,
a parasite host refers to a keyword targeted page
on a strong, legit
domain. Parasite hosting takes advantage of
Google’s favoritism
towards older
domains.
On the high PR page, that's where you put your
advertisements. This
page will rank quickly on the search engines as it
is sitting on a high
PR host.
Then, using Xrumer we will deliver 1000's of
backlinks to this parasite
page. The result is that this page will achieve a
high rank very quickly.
For beginners, here are the steps you need to take:
Step 1: Open Xrumer, fill out email and nickname
fields. Here's a hint
if you want to have a keyword in the username:
keyword#random[a..z]
. The result will be nicknames like keywordhd,
keywordje,

keywordhg, etc.
Step 2: Put keywords in the subject. Use
variations! Also, make sure
you use variations for the words that surround the
anchor text.
Examples of high PR hosts:
Wordpress, Squidoo, Blogger
If you're familiar with SENuke, great. Take your
high PR links from
SENuke and put them into Xrumer and watch your
SERPS explode!
SENuke is a great tool to create hundreds of hig PR
parasite pages.
The Linkwheel Method
The linkwheel method is the same as the high PR
parasite method,
with one important difference. The goal of the
linkwheel is have the
PR leak to the whitehat page, resulting in organic
ranking for the
whitehat page.
Example: My whitehat site is http://buy-bananas-
online.com
I create 3 blogs on high PR domains. Each blog
links to http://buybananas-
online.com using the words “Buy Bananas” as the
anchor
text.
So now we have 3 blogs:
http://bananablog1.blogspot.com,
http://bananablog2.blogspot.com
http://bananablog3.blogspot.com
Each blog looks like this: “Hi everyone, this is my
blog about bananas.
If you want to <a href=”http://buy-bananas-
online.com">Buy

Bananas</a> this is the right place!”
Save the list of high PR parasite URLs to a text
file and call it
prlinks.txt , put this file in your Xrumer
directory.
Create a new Xrumer project. For the homepage field
put this:
#file_links[prlinks.txt,1,N]
For the signature, put this:
[url=#file_links[prlinks.txt,1,N]]Keyword[/url]
Again, it's best to use variations and not just one
keyword. If you are
using variations your signature will look more like
this:
[url=#file_links[prlinks.txt,1,N]]{Keyword|
Keyword2|Keyword3}
[/url]
Now, in the body post put this:
[url=#file_links[prlinks.txt,1,N]]Keyword1[/url]
It should look like this:
(Don't forget to use vartiations!)
I put it 3 times because I want 3 links to be
displayed from the file
prlist.txt . If you look at the viagra spam you see
on the forums, they
will put 20-30 links. It is recommended to put
between 10 and 25 links
and to include lots of semantically relevant text
before and after a

Blog Comment Promotion
With blog comment promotion it's really important
to choose good
keywords as your username. The reason is because

many blog engines
will use the username as the anchor text. You can
use the variation
method for the username like this:
{keyword1|keyword2|keyword3}
Or, alternatively here are a few methods that all
do the same thing but
in different ways. Exploring these possibilities
will increase your grasp
of Xrumer's capabilities:
Try these in the username field when posting to
blogs:
#file_links[keywords.txt,1,N]
This will choose one random line from the file
keywords.txt
keyword#random[a..z]
This will create a username using keyword and
append a letter from a
to z
keyword#random[0..9]
This will create a username using keyword and
append a number from
0 to 9
keyword#random[a..z,0..9]
The same as above, with “,” acting as OR operator.
That means it will
append either a letter OR a number.
Remember, you can use spaces in your username when
posting to
blogs:
Using generic messages as your comments
It's very important to use good messages as your
comments. Botmaster
has included such a file for your pleasure, it can

be used by calling it
like this:
#file_links[Antispam/Neutral/en.default.txt, 1,S]
You'll notice the English language has been
brutally slaughtered in this
file, so use it if you're too lazy... If you're
ambitious check out the
chapter on “Artificial Intelligence”.
You should get the idea, it's not very hard to come
up with generic
comments that will seem real so they get approved
by the blog
moderators. People are vain, so appeal to their
vanity by
complimenting their site / blog. Even with a
username like Cheap
Viagra, you may still get comments approved if the
comment makes
sense.
Another good tip is to use the #hostname macro.
Example Comment:
Sweet site, I hadn't noticed #hostname before in my
searches!
Keep up the great work!
Xrumer will replace #hostname with the name of the
website!
The ElinksList Method
This method of building backlinks is highly
effective in term of getting
your links to stick. With this method you make a
forum post, and after
time go back and edit it with your link at a later
time. This method is
not a good way to get traffic, but an excellent way
to get backlinks.
The reason this is effective as forum admins will

generally check the
newest posts. So if your original post was
something like;
“Hey I’m new here. Forum looks great. “
Then your message, in most cases will not be
deleted. As time moves
on your message gets moved down lower and lower in
the forum
queue.
The setup for the elink method posting is very
similar the first part of
the Q&A posting method. The goal is to make you
user and message
appear to be just a normal every day user. To make
sure your posts
stick I recommend changing your priority categories

Please note I chose the
option to post ONLY if the categories in my list
exist on the forum.
This will lower your success rate on your first run
as Xrumer will do
nothing if those categories don’t exist.

Now I uncheck the option to check for active links
after
posting. This will speed up your first run as
Xrumer will not have to
go back to check if a link was placed as there is
no link to check. I also
uncheck the editing profile after registration as
well as the loading of
avatar. Unchecking these options will greatly

improve the speed of
your first posting run.
I also check the Make log of categories list so I
can do research later
on and seek out other forum categories / topics
they may look good for
posting.
Now choose your link list and start posting. Once
finished check your
success links:
In this case I have 194,350 success posts. Now when
I go through to
edit these posts my success rate will be a lot
lower then this number
for the simple reason that some forums don’t allow
you to edit posts,
or have a time limit set in place for the time your
post is available for
edit, and some posts may just be removed. Xrumer is
a numbers game
plain and simple.
When composing your edit message you can completely
post a new
message, or just go back and add a link. I usually
keep the original and
just add a line.
So if my original message was;
“Hey I’m new here. Forum looks great. “
I would make my new message like this;
“Hey I’m new here. Forum looks great. I found a
great way to get the
most out of [url=http//xrumerunleashed.com]Xrumer
[/url]“
Or if you want to be sneaky you can use the link

disguise the links like
normal text (no underline, different color for
links) by posting my
message like this;
““[color=color_url]Hey I’m new here. Forum looks
great. I found a
great way to get the most out of [/color]
[url=http//xrumerunleashed.com]Xrumer [/url]“
This will only work on about 10% - 15% of the
forums you are posting
to. Your links will still be active if the link
disguise fails.
Now let’s set the advanced options:
Notice this time we will be posting on behalf of a
previously registered
user. As we already registered on our first run.
Also I have selected the
“Enable checking for active links after posting”
this time so we get a
record of which forums worked for us.
Now once you have your edited message. Make sure
you selected the
same link list and selected the elinks database.
Now start posting!

Chapter 3 Direct Promotion
If you want to promote your website directly using
Xrumer, it is
recommended to get abuse proof hosting. Most
webhosts will shut you
down if someone merely complains that you posted a
commercial
advertisement on their public forum.
First, you will want to enable Aggressive Posting

Mode, located in
advanced options. This will create several topics
on the forums instead
of just one. It will take the moderators longer to
delete them thus
increasing the exposure of your ads.
It is recommended to post only to forums for direct
marketing, so a new hrefer filter is needed. Look up the
forums only filter in the Artificial Intelligence chapter.
This filter will eliminate 99% of the junk and
leave only forums. A
typical scenario where direct marketing can be used
is for the
promotion of a dating website:
[url=http://affiliate/affiliate-link.php]
[img]http://affiliate/banner.jpg[/img][/url]
Using banner advertisements usually draws more
complains than text
advertisements. A mix of both is suggested, where a
text review for
the product is posted along with a banner.
Experiment to see what
works best in your niche.
Question and Answer Mode:
A popular way of promoting projects is to use the
q&a mode. The
result is that you can have a “conversation”
between 2 forum users.
The Q&A method is one of the methods I use the
most. This method
can be used not only for direct marketing, but also
for SEO purposes.
The first user can ask: “I'm not sure if #category
is the right place to
post this, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried

Hostgator.com for
their web hosting?”
Then, the second user answers: “Yes, I use
Hostgator for all my
projects. Don't be afraid to sign up today, the
prices are really good
too!”
In order to effectively use the q&a mode, first you
will need to setup
your project for user A. User A will ask the
question, prompting
responses from other users.
Open up Xrumer, and then click on Project --> New
Your first run is going to be posting a question.
So as we fill out the
profile settings try and make it as “average user “
as possible. Include
no link to home page, or link in your signature. I
skip over a lot of the
personal details here as we covered them in the
last profile tutorial.
Since our link will not be in the profile of the
question poster, the
rotating of fields for unique content is not as
important.
Here is what my question post will look like:
Now the post part is the most important. In order
to get you post to
stick you need to make it sound spammy. Unlike the
profile, you want
to make the question unique so spinning you post as
much as possible
is a must. Here is an example:
{Hi|Hey|Hello} {I’m|I am} new here. {I am|I’m}

sorry if #category
is {not the right|the wrong} place for {this|this
post} but I was hoping
some one here on #hostname would be able to {help|
assist} me access
{facebook|myspace|youtube|bebo|gmail|ebay|amazon}
from {school|
work} as it {it is|it’s|it is currently} {block|
restricted|firewalled}. Any
{help|assistance} would be {greatly appreciated|
great|wounderful}
The out put would look something like this:
If you don’t know already, #hostname will add the
name of the
forum/site you are posting to. #category will be
the name of the
category that your post was placed in. Ok now let’s
set the advanced
options and get ready for our question posting.
Here is what mine looks like:
I have selected “Mandatory registration with
posting” as the posting
method. I also have found better success in
question posts staying up
longer that have avatars upload so I chose to “edit
profile after
registration” so I can “load avatar at profile
editing”
I also chose to “make log of categories” as I am
always looking for
ways to refine my postings.
Now save, select your link list and start posting
Now once you finish. We can start prepping our
reply posting. The

profile and awnser post can be setup much the same
way. Here is
what my reply posting profile will look like:
For the reply I will use something like this:
I {saw|came across|noticed} your {post|posting|
thread|question}.
My {school|work|job|company|high school} {blocked|
restricted}
access to {myspace |facebook}.
After about #random[1..9] hours of {searching|
looking} I found
[url=http://myproxysite.com]{myproxy|facebook
proxy|myspace
proxy}[/url]
Which would result in something like this:
This was just a basic example for you to get the
idea. Now check your
advanced options to make sure they still look like
this:
Now comes the part you all were wating for. Select
the Rlinks db for
link list posting you made orgionaly when asking
the question:
So if the link list you posted orgionally was
LinksList id995.txt your
replay post would be RLinksList id995.txt - And
that’s it for the Q&A
posting method. A few things that can help your
success is going
through a first run with register only. Then run
though the success list
with “post on behalf of previously registered
user”.
It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours between

posts to avoid
suspicion.
Advanced replies
Now, you can bump the thread by posting as user A
once again. To do
this, simply switch the project back to the first
project. Edit the
message, but don't change the email or username –
make sure those
stay the same! Now, go into Options, Advanced
Options and select
“Posting on behalf of a previously registered
user”. Make sure you are
still in RlinksList mode on the Links database tab,
then hit Start!
You can go back and forth between users, and you
can go as far as you
like with this. For example, one thing that's fun
to do is to create
introduction posts for your bots first before
promoting anything.
First, edit the priority categories in the project
settings and put only the
following:
Introduce Yourself
introduce yourself
introduction
Introduction
new member
New Member
Tick the box that says “Post only if these
categories exist otherwise
skip”
Now, run your list as user A but simply post an

introduction like “Hey
guys, nice to be here! I love #hostname!”
On the second run, you can come back as user B and
post in the
introduction thread “Welcome to the forums!” Using
this method you
can create the illusion of real users carrying on
conversations.
Impor tan t Note : Make sure you create a new copy of
your linkslist for each conversation thread you want to
create, otherwise the wrong replies will be posted and
Xrumer's RlinksLists will get mixed up.
PM Promotion Kung Fu
Botmaster’s latest release of Xrumer has a lot of
enhancements in
regards to PM promotion, however it is far from
perfect. Many forums
have strange rules when it comes to PMs. Some
forums don't allow
you to send a PM unless you have a certain number
of posts, or until
you’ve been a member for so long, and some admins
just have it
disabled completely. Your success rate will be a
lower then it is with
posting, so please don't be discouraged. First, you
need to harvest a list
of forums that Xrumer specifically works with for
this method. To do
so, check the chapter on Artificial Intelligence.
Mass PM Setup
Open Xrumer and click: Tools -> Delete all links
according to
blacklist (you did remember to update your
xblack.txt right?)

Now that your link list has been cleaned go to:
Options -> Advanced
Options and make the following selections:
Now lets create a new project.You can create a
project as normal, but
here are a few recommendations;:
-Don’t rotate nicknames as in my experiences this
lowers your success
rate
-I also recommend leaving the Homepage field blank
as well as we’re
not profile spamming here, and it increase the
change of your account
getting caught by forum admins
-For the City, Country, Area of work, and Hobbies
field I like to pull
the values from a txt file as its a lot easier the
{ | } in my opinion. This
way I fill in something like this:
#file_links[C:cities.txt,1,L] and the cities.txt
would be a listing of
cities, one per line.
Now for the topic I recommend something like;
(Per your post | hey #uname | etc}
The #uname macro will fill in the name of the
person you are sending
to….however this only works about half the time.
For the body of your message (and as well as with
the topic) I
wouldn’t worry to much about macros as your not
worries about your
posts being duplicate. However some forums have
protection that will
look for message similarity so usually just adding

something like
“#gennick[sjdhrd,6,15]” this at the end will allow
you to bypass that.
Save your project.
Mass PM Posting
The mass PM posting process works in two stages;
registering and
posting. First, follow the steps outlined in the
chapter “Profile
Creation From A-Z”. You can also browse the
Xrchat.info forums
for a while.
Now we’re ready to send some Pms. First change the
posting from to
Mass-PM
Now to to Options -> Advanced Options
and set the following:
Click Start and your promotion!
One thing I forgot to mention is after your first
run of registering only,
it’s a good idea to send pm to only the forums in
your PROFILES list
as Xrumer will not try to post to forums you were
unable to register
with. Also with PM promotion its a little harder to
track results, but if
you use JhonnyXXX’s tracker script you’ll get a
good idea of how
many people, and from what forums people are
viewing your PMs.

gathering to fit
customized forum setups take a look in the
masspm.ini …. and check

Artificial Intelligence
Collecting Only Forums:
Go to hreferTemplates
and create the following file:
Only_Forums.txt
In Only_Forums.txt add the following lines:
forumdisplay.php

Collecting Sites For PM Promotion
With the current version of Xrumer (version 5.0.12)
Mass PM will
work with the following forum types;
• phpBB
• VBulletin
• Invision Power Board
In order to cut the number of unsuccessful PM
posts, we first need to
harvest only relevant sites to post to, and to

accomplish this we need to
add footprints for only the above forums.
Go to hreferTemplates
and create the following files;
PM_Forums.txt
PM_forums_addwords.txt
in PM_Forums.txt add the following lines;

Please keep in mind this is a just a few
footprints…see my other
tutorial (Now that we got our Herfer templates
setup, lets start
harvesting… open hrefer now.
Just as you normally would update the proxies and
then under “Search
Engines: options & Filter” select PM_forums for the
filter option and
for best results use Google as the search engine.
Now your ready to start harvesting, so select your
word database and
start parsing. For a worthwhile campaign run, I
would recommend at
the very least 15 – 20K sites.
How To Collect Existing Threads For Using The Reply
Method
With Xrumer it's possible to post to the topics
that other users have
created and reply to them. The reason this is in
the Artificial
Intelligence chapter is because we will try to make
the replies seem as
real as possible. Otherwise, what's the point? You
will need the Rgen
tool to be able to do this. Rgen.exe is available
trough your
Botmasternet.com control panel.
To do this, first open Hrefer. Click on options and
disable “Convert all
links to index”. This will preserve the location of
the thread. Next, you

will need a list of search terms. Follow these
steps to obtain a word list
to input into Hrefer:
Once you have completed harvesting your list,
launch the rgen tool.
Select the freshly harvested list as the input file
and select the list you
want to use as the output (RlinksList). Rgen will
go through the links
and collect only the ones to which Xrumer is able
to post.
Open Xrumer and click on the Links database tab.
Select RlinksList
from the drop down menu. Make sure you don't have
Aggressive mode
or any other options.
The key to having your replies stick is once again
generic comments.
The link in your signature will provide the
backlink in this case, so
you are banking on the administrator thinking this
is a valid addition to
the thread.
If you want some better generic comments, copy this
into your
message body:

Priority Categories
Here is the complete list of top 500 category names
used on the
internet today. I have filtered out most of the non
english characters
but I have kept Spanish, French and German words.
To give you an

idea of the size of the sample we took, I included
the occurrence of the
top 10 categories:

19649 - Announcements
14949 - NEWS
12684 - Off Topic
8168 – Introductions
7728 - Off-Topic
7546 - Music

The list “big-category-list.txt” is included in the
files you got with this
package. There is also a file called xprior.txt –
replace your current file
with this one, it contains the basic template for
general promotion.
In order to get Xrumer to recognize these, we must
first add double
quotes to any term that has more than one word.
Included is a script
for autoit called cat.au3 . Input your list of
categories and save it in the
same directory as cat.au3. Open cat.au3 in the
autoit script editor.
Press F5. Now, you will have a nice list with most
of the junk (like
“?”) and such removed, and all the terms with
double quotes.

Chapter 5 Cookie Stuffing
Ok, ok.. So cookie stuffing isn't exactly the

cleanest, most honest way
to earn a living online, but is it entirely evil?
NO! There's a way to use
cookie stuffing as a marketing tool without the
need to steal
commissions. Cookie stuffing is a double edged
sword and I will
explain how it can both help and hurt merchants,
depending on the
case.
Percentage based stuffing
This is what you've heard about as wrong, immoral,
whatever. I'm not
here to pass judgment, I'm just here to explain how
things work!
Percentage based stuffing is exactly what it sounds
like. You know
that X percent of computer users shop on ebay, so
you stuff ebay
auctions. The same goes for amazon, or any other
major online retailer
you can think of. If you know the demographics of a
forum very well
and you know where everyone on that forum shops
online, you can
grab all those commissions very, very easily. It's
not as easy as it
sounds but I will show you step how it's done.
Remember, this
technology can be used for good or evil. Don't be a
dick and stuff
amazon, ebay and auctions. You'll just get banned!
Use the stealth
marketing method instead.
Stealth Marketing Method
When you promote products on forums, administrators
are always

weary of affiliate links. If something looks like a
promotion or
advertisement, it will simply be deleted.
With the stealth marketing method you don't need to
place any affiliate
links, you don't need the user to click on anything
at all! Let me put it
in perspective with an example post for my banana
company:
User A: Has anyone used hostgator? Is it decent?
( 24 hours later, the mods have looked at this post
and they have
decided to let it stay. It doesn't look like a
promotion. Along comes
User B with a helpful reply:)
User B: Hi User A, I noticed you haven't decided on
a host yet. Don't
worry, I had the same challenge a few months back.
Hostgator is
wicked, I haven't had a single problem!

(Notice that hostgator is NOT a hyperlink, it's
simply typed. Mods will
look at this and they might think twice before
deleting it. There are no
links at all!)
The end result is that you will get credit for the
sale of anyone who
views this post. All they have to do is go online,
search for hostgator
and signup – you'll get the commission!
A few things to keep in mind about cookie stuffing
with Xrumer:

• Pick smaller affiliate programs. Large affiliate
companies like
eBay, Amazon, and Commission junction have huge
resources at their
disposal, and spend a lot of time and effort to
ensure people do not
cookie stuff. There is nothing worse then seeing 5K
disappear from
your account.
• Start slow, and build. This can be controlled via
some cookie
scripts, or via the number of posts you make with
Xrumer
Special Cookie Stuffing Note:
Hostgator uses a tracking system where the 1st click
wins. That means
if they click on your link (or you stuff your link
cookie), even if they
click on someone else's affiliate link the first
cookie will remain.
Many companies use last click wins. In this case
you might want to
put a link to the domain you're promoting (not an
affiliate link). In the
example above, if Hostgator was using last click
wins, we could
simply add a link to one of hostgator's hosting
packages like this:
User B: Hi User A, I noticed you haven't decided on

How To Cookie Stuff Using Murk's Magic
- Create a new database and user
- Modify the main script variables
- Create tables using the file called tablecodes
- Login to phpmyadmin and add bad
refererers to the referer table
- You can block user agents from the text file
- Add single bad IP via phpmyadmin
- Use the file ban.php to add IP blocks
- Put a smiley face in the same directory
- name this image smile.gif
- use the .htaccess file provided
- put your affiliate links in the _redirect file
- if you want to rotate links you can, otherwise
put the same link in each instance
VIPs will get step-by-step installation help on the VIP
forums so don't worry if you don't understand how to
install it!

Chapter 6 Bonuses
PR Sorting gives you a way to filter out less
valuable, low pr links
from your harvest. I have also a big fan of PR
sorting my profile links
(that point directly to my site) in order to
collect the highest PR sites
for use in a link wheel.
Open Hrefer and click on Link Database at the
bottom to select the
database you would like to sort by PR
Now lets check the advance options to make sure

everything is set
right. Here is what my advance options look like:
Now lets start sorting by PR. Click on Tools -->
Sort Current List by
PR
You have two methods of sorting, by host name or
entire link. I
normally select host name especially if I using
sorting the PR of a
success or profile list for use in a link wheel. As
for the thread count I
usually set mine to 50 ( that's what botmaster
recommend). Now for
sorting methods you have standard, multisort, and
sort in range.
Standard - This will create a result .txt file with
the URLs with the
highest PRs on the top
Multisort - This is my favorite as it will create a
separate .txt file per
pr. The result file will be PR1.txt, PR2.txt,
PR3.txt .....
Sort in range - I normally dont use this method
Once your all set click Run and your off
You may notice a good number of -1 or -2 results.
While there is no
such thing as a negative Google PR ranking I still
tend to stay away
from these. Normally I try to post to all PR1 or
higher and for link
wheels PR3 or higher
Referrer Spam
This was very popular a few years back. While back

links from
referrer spam do not contain anchor text, it still
is a very simple way to
gain a few links out side the normal footprint of
forum and blog spam.
For those who don’t know referrer spam is normally
used to spam stat
pages like this one;
http://wagnerhome.org/usage/
And if you scroll down a bit you will see the
“Links from an external
page” section. Each one of the links below is a
live link. This stat page
has been hit already, however notice that in order
to get you site listed
here the most referrals you would need would be
295.
In order to get started we need to train Hrefer to
collect websites based
on the footprints of stat pages like the one listed
above.
Go to your HreferTemplates and create two files;

Now if you had Hrefer open you will need to restart
in. Once it opens
back up. Once you back in , go the Search Engines &
Filter tab and
select statpages.
Now select your wordlist and start harvesting.

Once you’ve finished, open up Xrumer and select
your new stat page
link list. No open up Options  Advanced Options
Here I selected enable refspam, and only refspam
without posting. I
also set the number of hits to 5000 per URL. Now
lets get the profile
setup.
The only thing that matters in your project profile
is the homepage
field as that is the URL that will show up on the
stat pages.
Now there is one last step before we get started
and that is updating
your proxies. For this method public proxies will
work fine. Refresh
your proxies;
And start posting.
You can also you referrer spam to draw attention
from webmasters.
Any webmaster out there, no matter what the skill
level, checks their
traffic logs. If they see 2,000 referrals from one
site they maybe apt to
check it out. You can even take this a step further
with cookie stuffing.
For example, I was promoting a small affiliate site
Dealextreme.com
and found several forums dedicated to some of their
products. I
sent10K hits from my Blackhat site that have the
stuff affiliate code. . .
. after about 17 days I was $750 richer. Cookie
stuffing or not cookie
stuffing is a great way to get attention from

webmasters.
Referer Tracking
Using the same principle as cookie stuffing, the
referer tracking script
included in this package will let you know how many
times your post
was viewed, and where it was viewed. All you have
to do is insert an
image into your post. Follow the instructions in
the referer tracking
package and you're on your way to tracking your
success – which is a
very important factor in making sales!
Chapter 7 Modifications
We'll begin the Xrumer Modifications by doing a
lesson on selflearning:
Let's begin with a walkthrough of the self learning
menus:
System Options - There is where you can enable and
disable the
self learning system. I always recommend running
with self
learning mode enabled.
The options here are pretty self explanatory, and
deal with the level of
logging you want to enable. While the self learning
system will handle
a lot of the basic types of additional fields
required for signup, as well
as sign up pages that will have non standard field
names it’s only the
tip of the iceberg when training Xrumer.
The most important setting here is under “Add field

when learning
when”. During normal use I will usually select the
option for “Add
ANY unknown fields and forms . . .” This option
tells Xrumer to log
any field it does not automatically recognize. We
will see why this is
good in the next section.
When working with a new link list I typically
select the “Form could
not be filled in, message was not sent” this is
good as its logging the
html form fields Xrumer is not able to fill in
(typically seen under
“the rest” report tab) and log them for later
review.
The results of the self learning will be stored in
Xrumer AI DB and
will not be added to XAS_AI until you define them
under the
“Control” menu.
Control - As stated above this is where Xrumer
stores the fields, etc
that it could not fill in for your review. Some of
these may already be
filled in as that is a result from the
“Automatically accept program
assumptions” from the option menu.
Depending on the size of the DB collected lunching
the control menu
may take a few minutes to open. During that time
you will see;
And then you will get this message for another few
minutes;

And then finally you will see a list like this;
If your list gets to large, or you want to manage
it by link list, or just
want to start from scratch rename the log .txt file
located
XrumerFieldsForAILog.txt …All fields currently
added will still be
retained in the Xas_AI file.
Keep in mind if you rename this file to create a
new log, you will need
to restart Xrumer just like any of the other
internal program files.
You can sort the control panel fields in any way
you like. Typically I
sort by the “Text before field”. Text before field
is shows the text
immediately before the html form field Xrumer was
unable to fill in.
While this typically will describe the field in
question, sometime
further inspection is needed especially if the
“field name” looks way
off from the text before field.
Here is one example of that;
You can see the text before field is e-mail however
we can see that the
field type is a checkbox, and the field name is a
checkbox. So filling
in an email address here would not help at all. If
you click to the link
on the right hand site it will take you to
registration page for manual
inspection.
Now let’s start updating Xrumer. For my first
example we will be
looking at this line;

We can see this signup page is asking for a text
field to be filled in my
my Yahoo IM id. While this most likely isn’t
necessary to signup it is
a great place to add some more key words. When you
select a line
from the AI control panel you will see it populate
down below.
Now just like all the project fields in Xrumer.
This can be filled in any
number of ways.
Pick a field from your Project profile
Since the nick name from my projects often reflects
my keyword I am
going to opt to use the same value. So if I select
nick name then click
ok the original line will now look like this;
Let take a look at another field.
This time its looking for age. We will have to use
the custom text
option for this one
For my custom test I am going to use
#random[2..4]#random[0..9] –
this is going to pick a random age between 20 – 49.
The first part of
this #random[2..4] picks a number between 2 and 4
and as you guest
it #random[0..9] picks a number between 0 and 9.
Some forums
require you to be over a certain year of age to
join – typically over 13
or 18 years of age so any age between 20 - 49
should be fine. I chose
this example to illustrate that you can use any
Xrumer macro to
complete the field. For any custom text field I

fill in I try to use a
macro to ensure that each post is unique. Once your
done adding
things in just click the “x” in the upper right
hand side of the control
menu and you’ll get a dialog box like this
Captchas and SECRETCODE:
Although I can't teach you advanced HTML in this
course you don't
need to know that much to figure out what's a
captcha, what's a
username field, etc. Let's start by looking through
the entries one by
one.
Here's the first sample entry:
Field name: Field Type: Text Before Field:
AB_Question Text For protection against
spam, please answer the
following question.
1) Click on the checkbox associated to the entry
you want to change
2) Select from the dropdown menu “Field Value:” the
selection
SECRETCODE
3) Press OK
If all went well you will see the green “State”
checkmark light up and
you will see SECRETCODE appear in the entry.
Let's keep looking for another entry. Let's try a
more challenging one.
Field name: Field Type: Text Before Field:
spamcode Text What is your mother's
maiden name?
Don't let the “Text Before Field” fool you, it's

clear this field is
another SECRETCODE. Although “Text Before Field” is
very useful
in determining unknown fields, it is unlikely that
in this circumstance
the field name is related. Look at the “Field
name”first. If it's obvious,
go ahead and set the value for this entry. If it's
not so obvious and you
need a second clue, have a look at the “Text Before
Field”.
Xrumer Unleashed Tip: Always double check the
entries that Xrumer
learns on it's own. Most of the time it knows the
correct field but it
happens that it will mistakenly associate the wrong
field.
When you're finished teaching Xrumer new
associations, simply close
the self learning window. The following dialog box
will appear:
Teaching New CAPTCHAS to Xrumer
If you decide you want to teach Xrumer new
captchas, you'll want to
know about the captcha mask. Located in
DeCaptcha/default.mask ,
this file indicated the location of the images.
Keep this in mind,
Xrumer needs 2 pieces of information to solve a
captcha: It needs the
location of the image, and the name of the field
which should be stored
in the xas files.
There is a method to enable Xrumer to attempt to
solve captchas it
doesn't know for sure it can solve. This is done by
adding this to

xuser.ini:
CheckUnknownCaptchas=1
Now, Xrumer will attempt to solve any captcha
including recaptcha,
etc. Although most of the time it won't suceed, you
can turn up the
number of attempts to solve the captcha in the
speed & success
settings.
That's it! All you have to do now is restart Xrumer
and it will
automatically fill in the fields you have taught
it! Now let's look at
another way teach Xrumer:
Import of Field Names – This little gem will allow
you to import a
list of values into your XAS or XAS_AI file. I also
encourage users to
update your XAS_AI file to leave you XAS alone.
Xrumer will pull
values from each one of them starting with XAS
Let’s say I had a text file with username
translated into several
different languages. I would select tha file under
the “Importing DB
file name” and choose which file I want to import
fields into. I would
select line by line as that’s how my file is setup.
Export of Field Names – is the same, just in
reverse
It may seem that modifying Xrumer is an
insurmountable challenge at
first, but let me assure you I've done it! Once you
get the hang of it

things become easier. Here's what you need to do to
train Xrumer to
perform a basic form submission:
1) Create a new directory with a fresh install of
Xrumer. This is
CRUCIAL, as you will be messing with Xrumer's core
files.
2) Enable Self Learning mode: Click on Self
Learning Mode, then
click on System Options, Then click the “Enable
Self Learning”
checkbox. The reason it's a good idea to enable
self learning when
training Xrumer is that it is meant to alert us of
forms it was unable to
fill. In this particular example we will be showing
you the manual way
in case the self learning misses something.
3) Paste the URL of the form you want Xrumer to
submit to in the
Test field. The Test field is located directly
underneath the big button
that says “Resume from last possition”. Once you
paste the URL in
this field, press the Test >>> button located
underneath the Stop
button.
Now let's go in-depth into Xrumer. First, what type
of form are you
trying to submit? Does it require registration? Is
there a captcha? Let's
start with a basic example so that we can wrap our
heads around the

concept.
Note that for this particular example we will not
be registering an
account, as this classified ad system does not
require email verification
or registration. All Xrumer needs to do is fill in
the data and submit the
form.
For this to work, let's make sure we set the
following options in
Options, Advanced Options. For this test, go ahead
and Uncheck all
the boxes. We don't need any special options for
this project.
The first thing that you will need to do is submit
the form manually
and write down some important details. Let's start
with the name and
email field so that we can introduce some more
important files: XAS
and XAS_AI.
Our first project will be to submit a simple form.
We will be
submitting to
http://au.bokrin.com/post/jobs_cat/internet_sub/ ,
so go
ahead and fire that up in Xrumer's Test mode.
Depending on what is
currently in your Xrumer's XAS configuration files,
you may get a
different result. I get the result in green font
“Success”. You may get a
blue font, or even a beige font with only the word
“sent;”. All of these

are based on the file xmessages.txt which we will
explore further in a
little bit.
What's important here is that Xrumer has attempted
to post to the form
on http://au.bokrin.com/post/jobs_cat/internet_sub/
, now we need the
exact details of the submission. Open up the Xrumer
folder and then
open up the Debug folder.
If your current LinkList id is 1, the debug files
will have 1 appended to
them. Open the file called POST id1.HTML in a
browser. Remember,
the file number (1 in my case) is determined by the
current LinksList
id number.
Here's what it looks like for me:
You'll notice it says in big red letter “You must
agree to the terms”.
Right-click on this page to view it's source. Let's
get the field name for
the checkbox, in this case “check_a”.
Now we add it to the following section in XAS.txt:

NOTE: According to the Xrumer documentation, one
should only

However, this doesn't seem to work. After much
experimentation I
was able to get the above code to work for our
example. You will have
to play around with it! Here's how you find out
what was posted. Open
the file FormFields id1.txt . It should look
something like this:

You can check this file after each attempt to see
what exact variables
were sent. We can see the all important [checkbox]
check_a = agree,
so we know that the problem checkbox will be
ticked.
If we submit this form using Xrumer's test mode, it
will be submitted
successfully to the category “Business
Development”.

What if we want to submit to a different category?
It's very simple, we
accomplish this with the priority categories. Open
your Xrumer project
and click on “priority categories” button. Put the
name of the category
you wish to select at the top of the list and
submit the form again. You
will now be submitting to the category of your
choice!
Xrumer Modding Tip: Priority categories control the
SELECT
inputs!
Advanced Modding:
In order to perform an advanced modification you
will need to get
familiar with 2 files. They are XURL and XMESSAGES.
XMESSAGES is a list of status messages used to
determine if Xrumer
is logged in, if it is banned, if it submitted
successfully.
(XMESSSAGES determines what's happening)
XURL is the logic behind Xrumer. This file is
needed to determine
where the registration link is on page, where the
link is to create a new
post, etc. (XURL determines where to navigate)
If you look at XURL.txt you can see the format of
the syntax. A casual
look through the file shows you all the options
that are disabled out of
the box. For example, look for the line:
[0,'reputation.php'
],'');
This is telling Xrumer not to visit this link, so

if you want to
experiment with any link that has this name, you
will want to remove
this!
The first Earlier versions of Xrumer up to the
current one at the time
of writing ignore the first line in XURL.txt .
Knowing this, don't put
your modifications in the first line, put them in
the second line since
the first line is ignored for some reason.
You need to point out to Xrumer 3 things:
1) Where is the main forum
2) Where are the threads
3) Where is the new post link
The bulk of this is achieved through xurl.txt and
the following
commands:
URL_TOREGISTRATION
URL_TOVIEW
URL_TOFORUM
URL_TONEWPOST
Sometimes, it's necessary to indicate to Xrumer
that it's ok to post.
