The Day Of The Coffee
Selena s p.o.v I walk into the dainty and simple coffee shop that I always get my morning coffee from.
I look around in the shop seeing all the familiar elderly faces. I never bother to say a word to any of
them but smile. I just don t feel the need to socialize at 9 o clock am when I m an enervated mess.
They re all usually eating their breakfast or reading their daily newspaper anyways. Not so many
young people come here but me. It s either the shop s unappealing aspect or the coffee isn t really
good, is to blame for the lack of attracting young customers. I admit the coffee isn t of the highest
quality in the java world but it s cheap. My taste buds have gotten used to the taste, though. Tapping

Holy beauty! This man is a distraction that for a second it felt like the world had just froze. My eyes
are fixated on him standing before me. My mind keeps running two words over and over again, fuck

shining brown eyes that can burn holes through my body. His sharp define jawline that I wouldn t
mind tracing with my fingers delicately. His hair, his lips, his tattoos on his arms, his built body shape.
He has the most amazing physical features that I m literally mesmerized. His strong ascendancy
seemed to have taken a fast toll on me. Men like him are, dangerous. Miss? he speaks up with a voice
that creates a shiver to run down my spine. What did I just say? This man is dangerous. I shake my
head quickly to release any sexual thoughts right now. I should be angry. No, I should be furious. He
wasted my money, ruined my clothes, and soon enough maybe will ruin my panties. Gathering all the
confidence that I can find in myself, I look at the piece of art in front of me. Y Yes? I stutter out,
immediately wanting to slap myself for coming off like some kid who just got lectured and is too
scared to make any peep. I apologize for this mess but I ve only got 10 minutes until I m late to my

Productivity Improvement in Screw Type Biomas Briquettes...
Biomass densification by screw briquetting produces uniform, dense and durable solids desirable for
gasification, process heating, power generation and other heating applications which are currently run
by coal. Due to high wear rate, the screw and mould used for forming the briquettes deteriorate
leading to regular production stoppage and considerable down time losses. Hence Indian entrepreneurs
are apprehensive to adopt screw briquetting technology in spite of its potential. In this work
improvement in productivity parameters are tested for predetermined replacement of screw before
considerable damage is done. They were found to be significant and aiding quality briquette output

If the excess biomass materials are compacted to briquettes near their source they can be transported
to longer distances, stored for more duration unaffected much by humidity [9] and put into versatile
uses. There are many methods of densification available and screw briquetting is one good choice for
producing high quality briquettes, a sample of which is shown in fig 2. These types of briquettes have
uniform dimensions, high calorific value, less moisture are desirable feed stock for gasification
systems, process heating and power generation applications. But the screw briquetting technology is
having its own shortcomings like, the life of its parts like screw and mould are very short due to high
wear rate, need of skilled labors to run the machine and wastage of energy for heating the raw material
and the mould. The heating process is needed to eliminate moisture and volatile matters and to melt
the lignin content in the raw material which acts like a binder. The quality of briquettes produced
justifies the use of skilled labor. Due to high wear rate of screw and mould particularly the screw
which have very short life about 4 to 15 hrs [10] there are regular stoppages of production,
reconstruction of tools and wastage of output.Research works are going on all over the world in
designing compact briquetting machines,

My Career With Citibank And Before Entering Banking Industry
It s a world of globalization and this has been made possible because companies have started to
understand the importance of business intelligence and analytics to attain their long term goals and
better understanding of expected future revenues. Being a banker, I realized that all the transactions
which used to happen manually, are now, done automatically. For example, cash deposit, cash
withdrawal, online banking, mobile banking etc are just a click away. Customers are not required to
visit the branch, stand in a queue and wait for their turn to come for the transactions. I started my
career with Citibank and before entering banking industry, I used to feel that it will be so boring to

helped the bank to compete on analytics and be successful even in turbulent times. Describe your

are as follows: 1. Distinctive capability: Citibank has a distinctive capability in answering customer
queries in a very less time. This aspect of its business makes it apart from competitors and makes it
successful in the market place. 2. Enterprise wide analytics: Citibank managed analytics as an
organization or enterprise and ensured that no process or business unit is optimized at the expense of
another unless it is strategically important to do so. Data was made available broadly throughout the
organization and that the proper care is taken to manage data and analyses efficiently and effectively.

Marketing To Children Essay
If children are the future, then why are they constantly being infected with marketing tactics?
Marketing to children has a multitude of negative impacts, mainly impacting the health of a child.
Mental health is probably the biggest one and marketing greatly impacts a child from childhood to
adulthood. Other than mental health, the physical health of a child is also impacted from the harmful
tactics of marketing. The companies who do this marketing are both harming the physical and mental
health of a person but there are a few ways to lower the risk of infecting a child with this mediated
disease, it is going to require some effort, however. Overall, marketing to children is a social problem
that is harmful to the development of a child.

Over the years, children have been lacking in good health, mainly due to media. Everywhere a child
goes, they will always be shown an advertisement. The biggest type of advertisement that impacts a
child s physical health is related to food. According to the Royal College of Physicians, obesity rates
have increase significantly among youth from 1989 2002 (Rogstad Copas, 2004). On television,
majority of the food advertisements are submissive to breakfast cereals, soft drinks, fast food
restaurants (Livingstone Helsper, 2006). Obesity is one of the health problems children are facing
today, as the numbers counting to increase, but they are not at fault because companies know how to
make them want the junk foods that cause this.
The increase in obesity has led to increases in diseases that were once rare in childhood, including
endocrine disorders such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and hyperlipidemia (Deckelbaum

Spinal Cord Stimulation Trial Information
WHAT IS A SPINAL CORD STIMULATION TRIAL?
A spinal cord stimulation trial is a test to see whether a spinal cord stimulator reduces your pain. A
spinal cord stimulator is a small device that is attached to your back or inserted (implanted) in your

The Is The Optimistic View On The World
A liberalist has an optimistic view on the world; precisely human nature. Although instability exists in
today s society, a liberal attempts to restrict this instability. Liberalists believe, Humans are, by nature,
good; they are only led astray by fear and uncertainty (Class notes, 9/21). They believe that every
individual has good qualities, however they sense that fear and uncertainty serve as an obstacle in
growth as a human being. Liberalism seeks progress and liberty, unlike realism, which pursues power
and security . Liberalism realizes that warfare is not inevitable. However, with all the relations among

Integration encourages a stable international arena by developing state economies and encouraging
foreign trade. Karl Deutsch, a political scientist, states, Integration means that a sense of community
has been achieved; people have come to agree that their conflicts and problems can be resolved
without resort to large scale physical force (Jackson and Sørensen 103). The transnational ties lead to
a secure community, which means a group of people have become integrated. Once integration is
reached and the sense of community is formed, that group of people can handle the conflict and
problems on their own rather than needing a lot of outside help to resolve the issue. This allows for,
Interdependency and collaboration transfer loyalty from the state to the transnational organization
leading to economic interdependency (Class notes 9/28). Since one state has economic interests in
another state it facilitates greater trust and cooperation because that one state would not go to war with

September order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vogue magazine. The publication is a
compilation of over the years of changing Australian fashion and style as put forth in the pages of
Vogue Australia magazine. The book was co authored by the previous Editor In Chief of Vogue

their muses. Some notable names include Maggie Tabberer, Elle MacPherson, Emma Balfour, Gemma

moods of the seventies and the creativity of the eighties and the new millennium up until. Another key
feature in the book is the acceptance letter of Rosemary Cooper, the first editor of Vogue, outlining
that Vogue Australia has united with the Condĕ Nast group, a historic moment for the magazine. Other
features also include the editorial from the guest editors Baz Luhrmann, Karl Lagerfeld and Kylie

transitional moments of Australia s cultural landscape, people and cities. The idea here is to show how
the magazine had influenced a vast array of designers, artists, writers, musicians and thinkers (both
men and women alike) especially in the 1960s to 1970s where discussing sex before marriage was a
taboo of the society and woman s independence was still dictated by the

A Formal Definition Of Franchising
Introduction and Overview
In the business world there are many routes businesses can take to try to ensure a successful venture.
There are sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability partnerships, corporations, limited
liability corporations, S corporations, and then there is franchising. A formal definition of franchising
is a continuing relationship in which a franchisor provides a licensed privilege to the franchisee to do
business and offers assistance in organizing, training, merchandising, marketing and managing in
return for a monetary consideration (Franchising, n.d.). In simpler terms, franchising is paying
someone for their business, marketing, and operations strategy, as well as the use of their name
(Obringer, n.d.). Discussed next are the important roles in franchising.
Two Roles of Franchising
There are two important roles in franchising are the franchisor and the franchisee. The franchisor is
the owner of the brand, product, or service, while the franchisee is the party that pays for the right to
use the brand, product, or service. Usually the franchisee pays a one time franchisee fee plus a
percentage of sales revenue as royalty (What is..., n.d.). Unfortunately the franchisee fee does not
include all of the necessary start up costs. There are many other fees and costs to be expected in order
to successfully start up a franchise. These costs are worth it to franchisees though, because once the
fees are paid they gain immediate name recognition,

Impact Of The Beatles And Frank Zappa
Cultural Impact Of The Beatles And Frank Zappa
In my thesis I would like to discuss both the Beatles and Frank Zappa and their cultural and political
impact on the Anglosphere. What the Beatles and Frank Zappa have meant for the people during their
musical career? What was their cultural legacy?
The Beatles are generally considered to be the best band in the history of popular music. This is
mainly due to the influence they had on other bands and musicians all over the world such as Billy
Joel, Nirvana, Oasis and many other. Songs with a similar style and sounding became known as

though he wasn t completely successful and some and some form of Parental Advisory labels were

of psychology. He was born on June 15, 1902 in Frankfurt, Germany. His unnamed Danish biological

Three stages are faced by most school aged children. Stage three, initiative vs. guilt, is for
preschoolers. If they are given freedom to imagine, be responsible, take decisions, to plan, then
tendency toward initiative will be encouraged. However, if children are always restricted and not
shown any appreciation for their ideas or decisions, they will feel guilty about acting on their own.
The fourth stage, industry vs. inferiority, is for students of elementary and middle school. Children are
encouraged to do things well and finish tasks. They are praised for their achievements and they
develop self confidence and industry. But, children who fail to achieve or who are constantly criticized
will be left with the feeling of inferiority. Identity vs. role confusion is the fifth stage faced by
adolescence, from 12 18 years. In this stage, adolescents seek their true selves and identity through
exploration of different behaviors, values, and beliefs. If adolescent succeeds, identity develops and if
they don t, it results into role confusion. When an adolescent is challenged by role confusion, Erikson
said, that adolescent is suffering from an identity crisis. Understanding sense of self is important in
this stage of the theory in order to find success in next stages. If an adolescent gets stuck at this stage,

Should We Study In America Essay

When I think of courageous people in our world one of the first people that come to my mind is Eric

Unfortunately, Berry was diagnosed with cancer and had to stop playing in the NFL. After a long hard
battle with cancer, with all of Kansas City s support and help, Eric Berry returned back to the NFL
Playing just as well as he played before. No one treated him any different than they did before because
that is what he wanted, he wanted to be seen as the talented football safety, not the cancer survivor

outstanding how after being close to death and not being sure if he d come back alive, he returned to

truck could pass. This is a very complicated problem: the top of the truck is metal and does not give
easily, meanwhile the tunnel is concrete and solid as well. The engineers might have figured out the
force necessary to push the truck out of the tunnel, but this would involve a bulldozer or tow truck.
Both would be hindered by the traffic and would take time. There are many factors besides just the
force necessary to push the truck that affect the solution, with the most important factors being time
and the inability to destroy the truck or the tunnel. The girl succeeded with limited knowledge of
physics and without destroying the truck or the tunnel.
The girl saw that the truck had to get away from the top of the tunnel, but she understood that this was
the same as making the truck get closer to the ground. This is simple and only requires some

home. Her lack of knowledge assisted her in solving the problem by keeping her away from the
symbols and numbers.

Rhetorical Analysis Of The Women s Suffrage Movement
During 1848 1920, the Women s Suffrage Movement took place. Throughout this movement, women
protested to win their rights. Florence Kelley, an American Social Worker and Reformer, fought for
women s suffrage and child labor law reformation. Along with the Women s Suffrage Movement, the
Second Industrial Revolution was also taking place. As a result, there was high demand for workers.
The target laborers were children. Kelley utilizes her speech to convey an important message to
America that it is inhumane to allow children under sixteen years of age to work under such harsh
conditions. In order to resolve the issue, Kelley insists that child labor laws be reformed. This
exploitation of children is addressed in Kelley s speech. Kelley begins her speech by stating, We have,
in this country, two million children under...states . Not only does this statement touch upon the issues
of child labor, but she establishes credibility by stating factual information. This makes the audience
believe that Kelley is knowledgeable about the topic at hand. Kelley continues to state statistics by
talking about child labor laws within states to contribute to her credibility. For example, In Alabama
the law .....night. She includes this information to illustrate the lack of restriction of state laws when it
comes to child labor. This information enables the audience to comprehend the foolishness of child
labor laws, persuading them to make changes.
Later, Kelley uses repetition such as, while we sleep , to inflict guilt on the audience. Kelley uses we ,
to refer to the American people, particularly the adults. Kelley is implying that while children are
listening to the deafening noise of machines, adults are sleeping peacefully in the comfort of their
homes. This image makes the audience feel an overwhelming sense of guilt, persuading them to
contribute to the prevention of child labor. By using repetition, Kelley makes the audience feel guilty,
allowing them to sympathize with the children. This, intern, will convince the audience to make
changes. Kelley gets the audience to sympathize by discussing the harsh conditions that children work
in. For instance, The children make our shoes...robbed of school life...us.

(Middleton Kelly, 1996). One of the biggest issues stems from a lack of facilitation on the larger social
issues involved with community service. When there is a proper forum to discuss the experiences they
receive while volunteering, students are given a chance to understand how policies and civic
involvement play a direct role in the lives of people in their communities. (Lakin Mahoney, 2006).
Another issue is content involved in the community service activities. If teenagers are thrust into a
volunteer situation they don t understand or feel that they are simply being assigned made up work, it
can actually have a detrimental effect (Tugend, 2010). One way to make the most of volunteer
opportunities is to specifically design the content around areas of student development. By focusing
on key content areas, students learn how to use their current skill set to navigate new experiences and
difficult situations. (Lakin Mahoney, 2006). A well organized and thoughtful volunteer opportunity
has proven time and time again to be a positive experience for youth. There are many studies that
discuss the character building benefits of service learning. Students who participate have higher
academic achievements, develop critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, planning and
organizing skills and expand their social circles. A student who volunteers is more likely to volunteer
and vote as adult. (Latham, 2003).

Interpretations Of Cleopatra
b) Evaluate ancient and modern images and interpretations of Cleopatra VII
Images and interpretations of a person can change over time. Such movement is paralleled with
changes in opinion and morals throughout generations. Cleopatra the seventh is subject to this
fluctuation. Ancient images and interpretations differ greatly to the impression left today merely by
her name. Chris Dumasis, a modern day historian amplifies this theory in Interpretations of Cleopatra .
She argues, women have been demeaned of their true substance since the early time of patriarchal
society. Taken into account, this argument entails that when studying ancient sources it must be
understood that at times, only a very narrow view of the events are presented ... Show more content on

The long nose and pointed chin are two distinct features of Cleopatra that are demonstrated by the
image on the coin that sepeate her from those that play her today. In his A.D. 75 Life of Antony
Plutarch himself professes, Her actual beauty ... was not so remarkable that none could be compared
with her... but the contact of her presence ... was irresistible . As a consequence, it can be understood
that it is ancient sources that possibly provide the truest image of her, being from the period of her life.
That is not to say however, that ancient sources have incorporated a complete truth. This can be seen
with the evidence provided by Roman and Latin sources.
In An Ancient Roman Perspective , Gemma Wilson s account for Rome s feelings towards the Queen
is one of great hostility. According to Wilson, at best, the Romans viewed Cleopatra with suspicion. At
worst, they hated her. Cleopatra was of coarse despised for utilizing the two public figures of Rome s
world, Caesar initially and then Mark Antony. Peter Roberts describes how it was Octavian that
initiated Rome s hatred towards Rome, relying on sexual slander to tarnish her reputation. Many
Roman poets continued this tradition of condemnation such as Lucan in Pharsalia , referring to
Cleopatra as Egypt s shame. Horace continues to embellish this image; the queen, with a contaminated
gang of creatures in his Ode XXXVII, referring to

Part of this is related to the restrictive bilateral agreements, which also protect the home market.
Some states have privatized their airlines and others intend to do so, a considerable number remain
state owned. As Forsyth observes, there is a strong correlation between per capita income levels and
private ownership. In the richer countries in the region, such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan,
Malaysia, along with the colony of Hong Kong, all the airlines are privately owned. By contrast, there
are few examples of private ownership of airlines in the poorer countries , while a number of
governments have allowed the introduction of private airlines (e.g. Asiana in Korea, Dragonair in
Hong Kong) to compete on international routes.

Meghan Markle Research Paper
The topic I have chosen for my research paper is Meghan Markle. She is a bi racial American actress
and blogger. She is most known for her lead role in the television show Suits. In the last couple of
years Meghan Markle has been in the spotlight due to her relationship with Princess Diana s youngest
son, Prince Harry. In the fall of 2017 Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement
to the world. Since the announcement of their engagement there have been several changes to Meghan

It s not surprising that Meghan Markle will now have to follow a new set of guidelines when it comes
to her interactions with the public. Fans and the media could not help but notice Meghan Markle s
social media absence a few months before her engagement to Prince Harry was announced. Since her
engagement Meghan Markle has not been able to pose for pictures or give out autographs to fans.
Only a couple of months after Meghan Markle s engagement to Prince Harry was announced all her
social media accounts were deleted. According to People It s an unspoken rule that the royal family
isn t on social media (Pearl). This doesn t mean that we won t see plenty of updates about Meghan
Markle and the royal family. An article in Bustle explains From now on, all her social media updates
will likely come from official royal accounts, as is the case for Harry, Prince William, and Middleton
(Dobin). There is a reason why fans also won t be able to snap a picture with Meghan Markle or
request an autograph. Livingly explains Buckingham palace has a lot of rules in place, two of them
being no selfies and no signing autographs go figure (Fogel). It s not surprising that these changes are
being made to Meghan Markle s life now that she will be royalty. She will be more well known than

Josh was given this job in order to help the company grow however he is still new and for the group,
he still needs more time and experience in order to fully analyze and understand day to day operations
of the business so that the implementation plan will be concrete and will slowly help bring up the
company. The first alternative for Josh is after the analysis, he must form a department that must look
up for key suppliers that would constantly provide them with the necessary materials they require in
doing and finishing their jobs. The other alternative is to change the current system in which the
company should keep an inventory of finished goods or an inventory of materials. The company may
have different sets of clients however the orders that come by in case of some defects, the company
may immediately replace and fix those which is necessary to be fixed. And keeping a stock of
materials may save them lead time from ordering and can save them money through bulk purchasing.
V. Detailed Recommendations After a complete analysis of the current system, Josh should be able to
deeply understand the operations of the company, he should have been able to determine what
constricts the company from earning more and spending less. Josh must look up for suppliers who
intend to provide them materials in a long term basis and to provide these materials on time and in
proper condition. This

The Similarities And Differences Between Baroque And...
FUTURE IN THE PAST
Architecture traditionally has been the slowest of art forms. It was not unusual for great cathedrals
take centuries to complete, with stylistic changes from Romanesque to Gothic or Renaissance to
Baroque as common as the addition of chapels or spires. But because the function remained the same,
the form could be flexible and its growth organic . (Reflections on Baroque, 2000, p. 250). According
to Martin Filler architecture can be changeable from past to future. When looking at the history of

that my habits are only doing harm to myself and I need to change them. My health habits prior to
assessing myself were horrible. The only exercise I would do is the walk where I parked my car to my
apartment or parking lot to my classes. Not only did I not exercise, my eating habits were horrible, and
to top if off my sleeping habit was bad. I usually have a frozen burrito or frozen waffle for breakfast
with a shake and for lunch some leftovers or microwavable food. Let s not forget my 24oz of coffee.

Sigmund Freud And Erikson s Theory Of Human Development
Introduction
The issue of human development has been a related one within the human society. In this respect,
there are several developmental theories that have been forwarded by some of the world s most well

and Erik Erikson s psychosocial theory. They are the two names that one cannot miss while talking
about psychology. Sigmund Freud is called the father of psychology while Erik Erikson s ideas have
become the best known.

Their theories were unique in their own way. Freud s psychosexual theory was focused almost entirely
on male development with little mention of female psychosexual development. When Fisher

According to McLeod, S. (2013) Freud based his theory on the recollections of his childhood and his
adult patients, not on actual observation and study of children. On the other hand Erikson s studies
were based on children, college students and most importantly he observed his own children

Queen Elizabeth (7 September 1533 24 March 1603) Queen Elizabeth was the queen of Ireland. She

establishment of colonies overseas. She made the Church of England the middle way between
Catholics, and Protestants.
Spanish Armada Spanish Armada is also known as the Great and Most Fortunate Navy or the

History of Physical Education Essay
Physical education is defined nowadays as a systematic instruction in sports, exercises, and hygiene
given as part of a school or college program (Park). When most people think of the term physical
education they think of it as a broad, inclusive term comprising the fields of physical education, health
education, safety education, athletics, recreation, dance education, kinesiology and so on (Zeigler 1). It
may sometimes be referred to as physical training or gym class and mainly is taught in grades
kindergarten all to the way up to your senior year in high school in the United States. The history of
physical education dates way back to the Greek and Roman times and has slowly evolved into what it
is now today. There is a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So things such as running, jumping, swimming, wrestling and boxing were all part of the Roman
education system and were used for military preparation as well. There were also sporting events that
the Roman Empire put on in honor of the gods they worshipped similar to that of the Greeks
(Siedentop 24 25).
Back in those days of the Greek and Roman women were not able to participate in physical education
and sport to the same degree as men, so they never had the same chances that men did. Greeks would
never let women partake in physical education, but the Romans were not quite as harsh letting them
occasionally do dancing or light exercise. Once the fall of the Roman Empire happened it became
what was known as the dark ages for physical education (Siedentop 25). It was a period of 1,000 years
in which physical activity, sport, and fitness diminished in importance amid political and economic
chaos (Siedentop 25).
The Roman and the Greek civilizations were a great influence on the European culture and
philosophies. Europeans then eventually came to settle in America (Siedentop 24). This meant that
early ideas and perspective on physical education in the United States were based on European
traditions and beliefs which were based on the Roman and Greek culture.
Physical education did not really start to make a comeback until the seventeenth and eighteenth
century. This is around the time when the European settlers were migrating

Philadelphia Fire By Cujoe Essay
Two texts that experiment with traditional forms of narration are Philadelphia Fire by John Edgar
Wideman and Pnin by Vladimir Nabokov. The narrator in Pnin tells Pnin s experience as a Russian
American professor, but the narration seems untrustworthy since he provides information about Pnin
that he could have only known if he was with him at the time. The narrator also occasionally
incorporates his personal experiences in the text. On the other hand, the narrator, Cujoe, in
Philadelphia Fire attempts to tell the story of the 1985 police bombing that took place in Philadelphia
that targeted the group called MOVE. The narration of the story is complex because it is told through
Cujoe s stream of consciousness. The intersexuality and the Meta ... Show more content on

Since a lot of the story is his stream of consciousness the reader needs to understand the world through
Cudjoe s perspective. This narration differs from the stereotypical style and is harder to follow
because Cudjoe is constantly thinking of various events and digresses in his thoughts. For example,
Cudjoe will look out his bathroom window and he will begin to think about women he had
relationships with and then he will write about his friend Sam. The reader needs to be able to follow
along with his thought process. AT times it seems like Cudjoe is not remembering a memory correctly,
but it s all a part of his thought process. Another element that makes the story distinctive is that this is
a fictional novel writing about Cudjoe who is writing a novel. In Cudjoe s writing process he includes
interviews with the people in the town who were affected by the bombing. Additionally, Cudjoe
incorporates Shakespeare s play the Tempest while he s narrating. The narrator makes multiple
references to various works of literature that the reader might not catch unless they are familiar with
that work. While it seems the narrator isn t exclusively discussing the bombing at all times, not writing
about the story in a linear and conventional form shows the complexity about writing about this

  • 2. The Day Of The Coffee Selena s p.o.v I walk into the dainty and simple coffee shop that I always get my morning coffee from. I look around in the shop seeing all the familiar elderly faces. I never bother to say a word to any of them but smile. I just don t feel the need to socialize at 9 o clock am when I m an enervated mess. They re all usually eating their breakfast or reading their daily newspaper anyways. Not so many young people come here but me. It s either the shop s unappealing aspect or the coffee isn t really good, is to blame for the lack of attracting young customers. I admit the coffee isn t of the highest quality in the java world but it s cheap. My taste buds have gotten used to the taste, though. Tapping my fingers along the brown ... God this man s eyes are beautiful, golden shining brown eyes that can burn holes through my body. His sharp define jawline that I wouldn t mind tracing with my fingers delicately. His hair, his lips, his tattoos on his arms, his built body shape. He has the most amazing physical features that I m literally mesmerized. His strong ascendancy seemed to have taken a fast toll on me. Men like him are, dangerous. Miss? he speaks up with a voice that creates a shiver to run down my spine. What did I just say? This man is dangerous. I shake my head quickly to release any sexual thoughts right now. I should be angry. No, I should be furious. He wasted my money, ruined my clothes, and soon enough maybe will ruin my panties. Gathering all the confidence that I can find in myself, I look at the piece of art in front of me. Y Yes? I stutter out, immediately wanting to slap myself for coming off like some kid who just got lectured and is too scared to make any peep. I apologize for this mess but I ve only got 10 minutes until I m late to my meeting, he speaks with such dominance in his tone that it s actually turning me on. • 3. Productivity Improvement in Screw Type Biomas Briquettes... Biomass densification by screw briquetting produces uniform, dense and durable solids desirable for gasification, process heating, power generation and other heating applications which are currently run by coal. Due to high wear rate, the screw and mould used for forming the briquettes deteriorate leading to regular production stoppage and considerable down time losses. Hence Indian entrepreneurs are apprehensive to adopt screw briquetting technology in spite of its potential. In this work improvement in productivity parameters are tested for predetermined replacement of screw before considerable damage is done. They were found to be significant and aiding quality briquette output and smooth operation which could aid in improving ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the excess biomass materials are compacted to briquettes near their source they can be transported to longer distances, stored for more duration unaffected much by humidity [9] and put into versatile uses. There are many methods of densification available and screw briquetting is one good choice for producing high quality briquettes, a sample of which is shown in fig 2. These types of briquettes have uniform dimensions, high calorific value, less moisture are desirable feed stock for gasification systems, process heating and power generation applications. But the screw briquetting technology is having its own shortcomings like, the life of its parts like screw and mould are very short due to high wear rate, need of skilled labors to run the machine and wastage of energy for heating the raw material and the mould. The heating process is needed to eliminate moisture and volatile matters and to melt the lignin content in the raw material which acts like a binder. The quality of briquettes produced justifies the use of skilled labor. Due to high wear rate of screw and mould particularly the screw which have very short life about 4 to 15 hrs [10] there are regular stoppages of production, reconstruction of tools and wastage of output.Research works are going on all over the world in designing compact briquetting machines, ... Some notable names include Maggie Tabberer, Elle MacPherson, Emma Balfour, Gemma Ward and Catherine McNeil among others; fashion icons like Norma Tullo and Jenny Kee to Collette Dinnigan. A formal definition of franchising is a continuing relationship in which a franchisor provides a licensed privilege to the franchisee to do business and offers assistance in organizing, training, merchandising, marketing and managing in return for a monetary consideration (Franchising, n.d.). In simpler terms, franchising is paying someone for their business, marketing, and operations strategy, as well as the use of their name (Obringer, n.d.). Discussed next are the important roles in franchising. Two Roles of Franchising There are two important roles in franchising are the franchisor and the franchisee. The franchisor is the owner of the brand, product, or service, while the franchisee is the party that pays for the right to use the brand, product, or service. Usually the franchisee pays a one time franchisee fee plus a percentage of sales revenue as royalty (What is..., n.d.). Unfortunately the franchisee fee does not include all of the necessary start up costs. There are many other fees and costs to be expected in order to successfully start up a franchise. These costs are worth it to franchisees though, because once the fees are paid they gain immediate name recognition, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Beatles are generally considered to be the best band in the history of popular music. Stage three, initiative vs. guilt, is for preschoolers. If they are given freedom to imagine, be responsible, take decisions, to plan, then tendency toward initiative will be encouraged. However, if children are always restricted and not shown any appreciation for their ideas or decisions, they will feel guilty about acting on their own. The fourth stage, industry vs. inferiority, is for students of elementary and middle school. Children are encouraged to do things well and finish tasks. They are praised for their achievements and they develop self confidence and industry. But, children who fail to achieve or who are constantly criticized will be left with the feeling of inferiority. Identity vs. role confusion is the fifth stage faced by adolescence, from 12 18 years. In this stage, adolescents seek their true selves and identity through exploration of different behaviors, values, and beliefs. If adolescent succeeds, identity develops and if they don t, it results into role confusion. Florence Kelley, an American Social Worker and Reformer, fought for women s suffrage and child labor law reformation. Along with the Women s Suffrage Movement, the Second Industrial Revolution was also taking place. As a result, there was high demand for workers. The target laborers were children. Kelley utilizes her speech to convey an important message to America that it is inhumane to allow children under sixteen years of age to work under such harsh conditions. In order to resolve the issue, Kelley insists that child labor laws be reformed. This exploitation of children is addressed in Kelley s speech. Kelley begins her speech by stating, We have, in this country, two million children under...states . Not only does this statement touch upon the issues of child labor, but she establishes credibility by stating factual information. If teenagers are thrust into a volunteer situation they don t understand or feel that they are simply being assigned made up work, it can actually have a detrimental effect (Tugend, 2010). While it seems the narrator isn t exclusively discussing the bombing at all times, not writing about the story in a linear and conventional form shows the complexity about writing about this historic ...
