more to offer. The tool that stands out the most and gave the best results was the Verbatim option
under All results . When using it, Google will only display results specific to the user s search term or
phrase. For example, when I search Gerrymandering , no results containing synonyms, similar terms,
previously used websites, or words from the same stem will appear in my results. When searching for
a phrase such as Gerrymandering in Maryland , the verbatim tool will only show the user results with
that exact phrase. No results containing those words separated should appear. Another great search
tool Google has to offer is the Advanced search , found in the upper right hand corner under the
options button. This tool offers the user many ways to narrow down their search to find the the exact
result their looking for. Some Advanced search allows users to search by language, region, last
updated, file type, usage rights, site or domain name, where the phrase appears on the site, ranging
numbers, and exact words or phrases. This tool is extremely beneficial to a searcher who knows
exactly what they re looking for, but can t find it in a general search.

In this illusion the lines in both A and B are the same length however the arrows pointing inwards in A make the line appear longer than when the arrows point outwards as in B. Gregory explained this illusion in 1970 by suggesting that the lines are perceived as being three dimensional rather than two dimensional. This is shown in figure 2 where A is shown as the inside of the room and B shown as the outside. By perceiving the objects in this way A becomes further away than B. However given that the lines are of the same size by applying the principle of size constancy it can be concluded that A is perceived as being longer than B.
