Building resilient scheduling in distributed systems with Spring
It is common to have jobs running periodically, especially in asynchronous and distributed systems. If the service is scaled horizontally (i.e. there are multiple instances of the same service), you often only want a single node to handle the task.
In this session I will demonstrate how to manually setup Spring to have custom logic in scheduling configuration and perform recurring tasks only on a single node. This requires keeping notation of the leader and persisting the selection.
The key takeaway of this session is how to implement distributed locking and how simple it is to run Spring application on top of it. In this talk you will learn how to mitigate challenges that arise when you use traditional declarative approach for scheduling and how to switch to a more flexible programmatic approach.

Physical architecture of sql server

3) Common patterns for event-driven microservices include database per service for independent data ownership, sagas for coordinated multi-step processes, event sourcing to capture all state changes, and CQRS to separate reads from writes.

This document provides an overview of CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event Sourcing patterns when dealing with distributed systems and databases. It discusses that in distributed systems, it is not possible to satisfy all three guarantees of consistency, availability and partition tolerance at the same time according to Brewer's CAP theorem. It also describes how CQRS separates read and write concerns to improve scalability. Event Sourcing is proposed as a way to store all state changes as a sequence of events to make systems more robust and able to replay past states. Projections are used to transform event streams into data views.

Understanding iis part2
IIS 7.0 introduced a new request processing model that separates IIS into kernel-mode and user-mode components for improved isolation and security. In kernel-mode, HTTP.sys receives and passes off HTTP requests, while the WWW service and Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) run in user-mode to handle configuration, start application pools, and process requests using native and managed modules. Application pools isolate web applications and sites into separate worker processes that can run in either integrated or classic mode.
Understanding iis part1

Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network
