It used a rotating two-year cycle where women gained work experience and skills to eventually start their own businesses. This empowered many illiterate rural women economically and socially, giving them incomes and helping send their children to school. Monitoring found that the project achieved its goals of employing women and strengthening local government institutions' support for gender issues.
Edified Generation Rwanda organized an event to commemorate Universal Children's Day and promote reading. Over 150 people attended, including guests, parents, children, and youth. Several guest speakers addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of education, reading, and children's rights. This annual report summarizes BRAC's activities in Afghanistan in 2017. It highlights that BRAC Afghanistan operated 78 health centers that provided health services to over 1.2 million patients. It also operated 263 community-based secondary girls' schools and 40 technical/vocational education centers, providing education to 50,000 girls. BRAC facilitated 383 community development plans and 447 community elections to promote governance. It had a budget of $20 million and partnerships with 8 local NGOs and government ministries.

Yet 67 years of misrule made people numb, and were entirely disconnected with the government, were at the clemency of the politicians taking the freebies they had at the time of elections.For votes the minorities were pampered with quotas and reservations. The oppressed remained in the same posture, turned into voting machines.
Modi’s interaction with the masses is something, which the people never experienced earlier, and made them understand that they are the principal constituents of the country and the government and the political leaders are there solely to accomplish their welfare.
Modi set the government, with clear-cut instructions to the ministers, and bureaucracy to hold along the developmental programs. Modi embarked on his international expedition to strengthen ties with countries for trade facilitations and significant issues like terrorism, climate change and so on. His activities in the international arena yielded substantial results and ignited new hope for sustained partnership in the development.

Abstract
Urbanisation often goes hand in hand with a rise in urban violence and crime that manifests in terms of street harassment of women and girls, stalking, sexual violence, blackmailing and extortion rackets. Children and women are seen as soft spots who can be victimized by predators. One such incident in the city is enough and the feeling of insecurity is spread like wild fire. It not only frightens girls and women, it controls every act they consider doing then onwards (UN Women, 2015).
Smart cities have to be Safe cities. Town planners, policy makers and budget experts need to do gender budgeting to ensure women-friendly civic infrastructure- water, sanitation, health care, safe transport, public toilets, helplines, skill development for crisis management and, safety at work place. While making budgets for social defense services, consideration must be given to safety of girls and women in schools and colleges in terms of prevention of child sexual abuse through public education and counselling facilities, separate toilets for girls and boys in schools, legal literacy on POCSO Act, 2012 and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Workplace Act, 2013. Provision must be made to have special cells in the police department to take action against display of pornographic images, SMS messages, cybercrimes that victimize young girls at public places or in public transport- buses, local trains, rickshaws and taxis.

The planning process will require community engagement, research, and commitment of time and resources. A strategic plan can help Madawaska address challenges like economic struggles and out-migration, while capitalizing on opportunities like its location, culture, and passionate residents to shape a vibrant future.
Uttaran is a 38-year-old grassroots organization in Bangladesh dedicated to empowering underprivileged groups and creating a just society. It focuses on issues like climate vulnerability, social injustice, and human rights violations. The organization has expanded its activities and diversified its work areas while focusing on a new five-year strategic plan emphasizing sustainability and vulnerable regions. Uttaran supports formal education, technical training, and climate resilience programs to help over 300,000 households in southwest Bangladesh cope with challenges like natural disasters, discrimination, and unequal access to resources.

Abstract
Urbanisation often goes hand in hand with a rise in urban violence and crime that manifests in terms of street harassment of women and girls, stalking, sexual violence, blackmailing and extortion rackets. Children and women are seen as soft spots who can be victimized by predators. One such incident in the city is enough and the feeling of insecurity is spread like wild fire. It not only frightens girls and women, it controls every act they consider doing then onwards (UN Women, 2015).
Smart cities have to be Safe cities. Town planners, policy makers and budget experts need to do gender budgeting to ensure women-friendly civic infrastructure- water, sanitation, health care, safe transport, public toilets, helplines, skill development for crisis management and, safety at work place. While making budgets for social defense services, consideration must be given to safety of girls and women in schools and colleges in terms of prevention of child sexual abuse through public education and counselling facilities, separate toilets for girls and boys in schools, legal literacy on POCSO Act, 2012 and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Workplace Act, 2013. Provision must be made to have special cells in the police department to take action against display of pornographic images, SMS messages, cybercrimes that victimize young girls at public places or in public transport- buses, local trains, rickshaws and taxis.

Psychological safety in teams is important; team members must feel safe and able to communicate and collaborate effectively to deliver value. It’s also necessary to build long-lasting teams since things will happen and relationships will be strained.
But, how safe is a team? How can we determine if there are any factors that make the team unsafe or have an impact on the team’s culture?
In this mini-workshop, we’ll play games for psychological safety and team culture utilizing a deck of coaching cards, The Psychological Safety Cards. We will learn how to use gamification to gain a better understanding of what’s going on in teams. Individuals share what they have learned from working in teams, what has impacted the team’s safety and culture, and what has led to positive change.
Different game formats will be played in groups in parallel. Examples are an ice-breaker to get people talking about psychological safety, a constellation where people take positions about aspects of psychological safety in their team or organization, and collaborative card games where people work together to create an environment that fosters psychological safety.
