What Is The Theme Of Romanticism In Giselle Ou Les Willise
The ballet Giselle ou Les Willis was premiered at the Paris Opera on the 28th of June, 1841. The ballet
follows the protagonist Giselle an innocent peasant who falls in love with Albrecht the Duke of
Silesia, passing as a villager. When Giselle uncovers the truth behind Albrecht deceits she dies of a
broken heart and is transformed into a Willi, a supernatural being that has been left at the alter. Giselle
was created in the period known as the Romantic Era, which was named due to the influence of
romanticism throughout Europe in the 1800s. The development of modern Europe begun between the
1780s and 1849 which was an economic transformation that set the first stages of the great Industrial
Revolution. This period created changes that can be seen throughout the ballet Giselle with alterations
to costuming and theatrical innovations, which changed how the public perceived dance. Themes
symbolic of the time were generated and brought depth and emotion to previous one dimensional
storylines, as well as the development of how the roles of men and women in dance went against the
way of society.
Throughout the Romantic period the ideas of Romanticism in art and literature influenced the creation
of ballets. During this period ballets explored similar key themes of betrayal, love and a spiritual
connection between the living and dead, in which these themes reflected society at the time.
Throughout the romantic period society were facing hardship in which they looked to the

Critique Nursing
Essay preview The purpose of this assignment is to critique and evaluate the chosen article in terms of
strengths and weaknesses, to demonstrate an understanding of the research process. According to Polit
and Beck (2004) the aim of critically appraising an article is an attempt to determine its strengths and
limitations. Therefore, the research critique should reflect an objective and balanced consideration of
the study s validity and significance (Polit and Hungler 1999). The task of critiquing is, according to
Lo Biondo Wood and Harber (2006) a challenging one and can only be effectively achieved through
much practice and skill. For the purpose of this critique, the frameworks of Parahoo (1997) and Polit

Cormack (2000) states that the literature review is a critical review of previous literature relating to
the research topic. Therefore this section aims to provide the reader with an understanding of what the
current state of evidence is in the selected area of study. This review is organised by heading that
correspond to the key study concepts, which makes the review easy to follow. The researchers attempt
to review previous studies relating to the topic, thus preparing the ground for new research. The
studies presented highlight the significance of the problem under investigation. It was difficult to
identify the exact research question, as there was no definite question asked. Although Valente (2003)
states that sometimes researchers may hide the research question within the purpose of the study. The
final statement of the literature review is therefore the purpose of this study it is timely that perceived

specific relevance with the last section of the review clearly outlining the need for the study. Due to
the article been published in 2004, it is expected that the references used will be relevantly recent.
From reading the reference list, it can be seen that this is the case and only three references before
1994 have been used. There was a need for these older references as the original author who employed

Kelly Hunter Representation Of Autism
The millennial generation has seen the evolution of media representation. As our generation continues
to advance and take on careers in casting and media representation we are able to challenge every
previous ideal about what people want to see on stage and screen. The stages and screens are meant to
be a place for people to come view reflections of our society and societies spanning the globe. 2016 is
set to break previous boundaries for actors with autism. The representation of autism began its
development as a way for unknown actors such as to break into the limelight for performing as a
person with a lifelong development disability. Examples of this include Leonardo DiCaprio s

The Use Of Performance Enhancing Drugs In Sports
The use of performance enhancing drugs to help athletes perform better is illegal and considered
cheating as this drug gives the athlete who may have been an average performer an edge over the
competition after the use of these drugs. This is unfair to the other players who are playing a fair
game. No matter at what level whether its high school, college or a professional, athletes should not be
using drugs to help or boost their performance in any way as it wrong and the athlete is basically
cheating his way to the top. No doubt that drugs/HGH may help the player s vitality and even reduce
injury time but the serious side effects of prolonged use is still unknown and is still cheating since it s
not legal as not every player is taking it to make it a fair game. ... Show more content on

And like Charles Barkley suggests in the video you have to be an idiot to be on drugs now as you
know you are more likely to be caught because of the more stringent drug tests that players are
subjected to. When big names get caught being on drugs it sends a wrong message to the younger
athletes as the stars they have been idolizing all long got that way by the use of drugs. In my opinion,
subjecting athletes to periodic drug testing is the right way as it will help send the message that
cheating your way to the top is not an option and will help reduce the number of cases of younger
athletes getting lured by the easy way to

Our Dependence on Others for Information in The Ignorant...
Having read The Ignorant Schoolmaster, the book informs an individual about the intellectual quests
of Joseph Jacotot, a man who put in great effort to advance his views of intellectual emancipation in
the 18th and 19th centuries. He explains how people are too dependent on others in order to obtain
knowledge which they can do on their own. *Upon reading his argument, I begin to agree with his
view on our education system and how it s dulling the minds of individuals. *
In the first chapter, An Intellectual Adventure, Ranciere believes that most individuals think they
cannot gain knowledge without a master; someone needs to directly teach them the material. He
believes that the normal way of teaching is dangerous, if a student is always being told what to learn
then in some sense they are being trained to think that they cannot figure out what to learn without
having someone actually telling them. What Ranciere sees as dangerous is not that we have things
explained to us, but that we develop attitudes of inferiority and superiority. The issue is we believe
others cannot learn something without us explaining and we think we cannot learn if we are not
explained to. Ranciere wrote, The book is made up of a series of reasoning s designed to make a
student understand some material. But now the schoolmaster opens his mouth to explain the book. He
makes a series of reasoning s in order to explain the series of reasoning s that constitute the book. But
why should the book need

Why Parker Is Not A Social Butterfly
Parker stands just outside of the airport doors with a suitcase beside her, it was awkward for Parker to
try and maneuver her way through the airport s terminal. Every corner and service desk she looked at
she would see best friends, families, long distance couples, and sometimes even the lonesome fliers. It
was odd being around so many people, but seeing each person with a smile on their face made her
even happier to be here.
The Netherlands are nice, Parker decides. She likes the small towns where you can see the forests and
the big cities where you can see the horizon lined with glittering lights. However, most importantly,
she likes the Netherlands because of the people. Parker was not a social butterfly by any means. In

Parker: Hmm, sounds like fun Momma Jin. I hope you have a stress free day.
Parker: Can you stick your finger through the bottoms of your shoes again?
Nichole: Not yet, but they re close.
Parker: Haha, okay Momma Jin, I will let you go so you can have a good day.
After sending her last text to Nichole, Parker went straight back to Tumblr. Only glancing up when the
small doorbell rang, indicating that someone had come in. The small Starbucks stayed quiet for about
an hour until the doorbell rang out again, this time three girls walking in.
Parker watched the three girls with curiosity as they all giggled over something. Each of the girls was
shorter than her, Parker had guessed, one probably being near 5 4, another being just a bit shorter than
herself. Magenta colored hair was what really caught her attention. It reminded Parker of Nichole.
Parker continued to watch the three girls, sort of enticed by the magenta haired girl.
One day all four of us will come here together and we will finally get to meet her, one of the girls said,
sparking even more of Parker s attention.
Just as Parker was taking a sip of her tea, the magenta haired girl turned around. Instantly Parker
started to choke on her drink. Quickly she looked away from the three girls and covered her mouth

Kremlin s Report On Energy Security In Post-Soviet Eastern...
In 2007, the Helsinki Commission held a congressional hearing focusing on energy security in Post
Soviet Eastern Europe. The hearing took place in the wake of the first major Ukrainian Russian gas
dispute in 2006 that not only demonstrated the Kremlin s motives to use its energy resources, natural
gas in particular, as a weapon to meddle in its immediate neighbors domestic affairs, but also show the
rest of Europe s, especially Central and Southeastern Europe s, extreme dependency on Russia s
energy supplies. Back then, experts and policy makers focused and made recommendations primarily
on the enhancement of security of supply through the construction of new energy infrastructure,
namely pipelines, which would allow the diversification ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The most important Kremlin sponsored projects have been the planned Nord Stream 2 and
TurkStream pipelines which both intend to carry gas to EU countries by circumventing Russia s
immediate post Soviet neighbors.
According to Doran, the Kremlin s motive is clearly to end the role that Ukraine, and to a lesser extent
Moldova, currently plays in the transit of gas to the EU through the Brotherhood and the Trans Balkan
pipelines. The success of Nord Stream 2 could potentially result in the loss of billions of dollars in
transit revenues for Ukraine and Moldova, as well as diminishing their geopolitical importance for
Europe, while subsequently enabling Russia to reassert its old influence over them by exploiting their
diminished energy security.
As a result of massive infrastructure projects promoted by the EU to develop reverse flow capacities
on existing pipelines and create new interconnections, Ukraine is now capable of purchasing gas from
a Western direction and, for the first time, since November 2015 has ceased buying gas contractually
from Russia altogether. New pipeline infrastructure projects, namely the planned expansion of the Iaşi
Ungheni pipeline, as Lyndon Allin, Associate at Baker Mackenzie, pointed out at the same briefing,
might enable Moldova in the medium run as well to reduce its

by varying temperature, effect of electric field on drift velocity, effect of scattering on mobility,
observed its some mechanical properties like stress enduring capability etc. in a form of carbon

metal depending its indexes. Carbon nanotube is actually cylindrical form of graphene sheet. By using
tight binding model(TB), I got electronic band structure of graphene which was the basis for the
Monte Carlo Simulation as it is superior then Boltzmann transport equation(BTE) for analyzing band

The Long Term Influences Of De Stijl Architecture
The historical processes of any artistic movement are carried out under the certain community
background, which is inseparable from the social political, economic and cultural environment impact.
De Stijl is form by a Dutch genre painting, it had the huge impact on the design community. This
movement in the design world is the beginning of the modernist art in Dutch, it is also an important
part in the early modernist design movement. Design style definition of Stijl movement is showing

Essay About Fiestas
Fiestas are best in the Philippines because people has the sense unity and it reflects their beliefs.
Filipinos love fiestas. Here in our country, Philippines, we can witness different festivals in each and
every corner of our region. However, even Fiestas look as if our own, these have originally come from
Spaniards. When Spanish missionaries entered the Philippines during the mid 1500s, they found that
the fiesta was a convenient tool to help teach Filipinos the Roman Catholic faith. That is why, in the
Philippines and many other former Spanish colonies, the Spanish word fiesta is used to denote a
communal religious feast to honor a patron saint (Wikipedia, n.d). The Philippines have adapted this
and it is now part of our culture and tradition. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Voter Fraud In Elections
In order to vote, American citizens must meet several requirements, and complete the registration
process. To be eligible to vote, at the very least, one must be a US citizen, meet state residency
requirements, and be at least 18 years old ( Register to Vote, n.d.). Efforts have been made over the
course of American history to make voting a more simple and inclusive process, including the Voting
Rights Act of 1965, and the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (Ash Lamperti, 2013, p. 14).
However, the article Elections 2012: Suppressing Fraud or Suppressing the Vote? by Arlene Ash and

Even in 1996, Rhine s An Analysis of the Impact of Registration Factors on Turnout in 1992
speculated that with each new reform for voter rights, there is in turn the widening possibility for voter
fraud (p. 181). With less strict requirements, more individuals are likely to take advantage of the
system to help further their party or candidate of choice (Rhine, 1996, p.181). The 2000 presidential
election saw a serious account of electoral fraud mainly due to voter registration, accessibility issues
at polling places, as well as issues with the voting machines (Ash Lamperti, 2013, p. 16). From this
situation of fraud, it is estimated that approximately four to six million votes were lost (Ash Lamperti,
2013, p. 16). State governments have established these newer reforms in order to prevent such a

The Impact Of Charlie Chaplin s Impact On Film
Throughout this course, we have talked about a lot of different directors, photographers, artists, actors,
etc., involved in some of the most foundational and original films during the silent film era. However,
the person who really intrigued me the most was, none other than, Charlie Chaplin. In fact, I d like to
use this paper to further explore his life and career to gain some perspective on who he was and the
steps it took for him to rise to fame. I believe his impact on film throughout his life was extremely
influential, and in order to understand that impact, I must start from the beginning. Charles S. Chaplin
was born in London, England on April 16th of 1889. His father, Charles Chaplin Sr. and mother,
Hannah Harriett (stage name: Lily Harley), each doubled as vocalists and stage performers. Thanks to
his parents, Charlie discovered his talents at an early age. He was only five years old when he made
his first appearance on stage as a fill in for his mother at a music hall performance. After that, his
passion for the performing arts could only grow larger. However, his life took a dramatic turn after his
father left and his mother was subsequently put into an asylum, all before the age of ten. Because of
this, Charlie and his brother Sydney were set off on a hard journey where they were left to fend for
themselves. After two years spent with his half brother in an ill kept orphanage, doing his best to use

The Role Of Abortion In The United States
Over the past few centuries state and federal laws concerning a females reproductive rights have

The Effects Of Physical Therapy On Health Care Delivery...
A prevention program can be described as an arrangement of activities that attempt to alter a situation
from happening, reduce problems, or promote a certain outcome. Prevention programs are available
throughout the world covering many different aspects present in today s issues. Physical therapy
services have a direct connection to prevention programs in that a therapist makes an effort to treat a
condition in order for it to be avoided, reduced, or changed if at all possible whether it is an injury or
infection. As stated by the Alabama Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Physical therapists can
provide valuable contributions to the transformation of the health care delivery system by improving
health care quality and outcomes through the prevention, treatment, and management of impairments
and health care needs of patients, (Health Care 2). Preventative actions initiate restoration and
achievement of a patient s functional ability, and decreases dependency and impairments due to an
illness or disease. Preventing an illness from progressing at a rapid rate, and educating the patient to
better adapt to surroundings are also services provided. Physical therapy prevention services can be
categorized by being primary, secondary, or tertiary.
Primary prevention can be classified as a physical therapist recognizing potential risk factors in a
given population or age group, and providing therapeutic services to decrease the specific risk from
occurring. Simply put, it stops

The Aviation Industry Of China
AVIA3101 Individual Assignment
Si Yat PONG (z3440479)
Option 1
General
The aviation industry of China began for around half a century. As a developing country, the economy
of China has a massive increase, but the strictly controlled airspace and complicated regulation limited
the growth of China Aviation. Recently, new measures such as more efficient airspace approval
process, have improved the situation and giving hope that the market will rise. In fact, the market has
rapidly increased. As the China government giving ways to develop the aviation industry, more and
more have negotiated increased capacity with China, Australia is one of them.
In the past 10 years, the demand of travelling between Australia and China keep increasing at a high
rate, especially after 2009 (fig 1) [International Airline Activity Time Series. 2015]. Due to the rise in
demand, major airlines such as Qantas China Eastern and China Southern have a massive expansion in
terms of no. of flights and route network. With annual passengers of around 850k, China has become a
key source market for Australia. Airports are also trying to attract Chinese travelers. For example, in
Sydney airport every Chinese New Year, Terminal 1 would celebrate with Chinese Themed
declaration, launching simplified Chinese site and deployed Chinese speaking Ambassadors to assist
Chinese customers in Terminal 1. China aviation industry is absolutely one of the largest and fastest
growing economies. (fig 1)

Benjamin Dialectical Journal
1
The concrete stairs ascended at a harsh angle, a glistening bronze handrail aside them. At the foot of
the stairs was a large, clear landing, void of all but two cracked pots of dying hydrangea and a ratty
vending machine that only sold generic ginger ale. There weren t any lights in the landing, nor were
there any windows. It was dark and very damp; some green and purple mosses grew in tatters from the
ceiling and occasionally stretched across the dusty floor.
But, from the head of the stairs, a glaring ray of sunshine slid through. A worn, black door stood ajar,
making room for the blazing warmth to intrude.
The body in the middle of the stairs was sprawled like a struck animal. Its arms were strewn out,
reaching in vain for the brilliantly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You see? repeated Benjamin, an air of nervousness plaguing his tone. I have them at last. Do you see?
But oddly she seemed uninterested. Her wagging tail began to sail across the carpeted floor, dragging
more with each consecutive pass, and she had closed her moist snout. She gazed solemnly up into
Benjamin s quickly falling face.
Is this is this not enough? he muttered, hands trembling.
He clenched his outstretched hand around the severed lips, recalling the lurid scene from which they
had come. The blood that likely still slunk from step to step ... the pearly white, up rolled eyeballs....
Benjamin stood slowly, his face steely and speckled with stale anger.
Alright, he sighed, making a stride past the hulking dog and into the bedroom.
The room was musty and dimly lit. A heavy curtain was drawn across the only window, allowing only
a slight and pathetic slant of balmy sunlight to slip in. Faintly, the air tasted of dog urine and stray fur
a fusty undertone hovering beneath ghostly.
Perhaps, said Benjamin, the next shall please you.... But he wasn t convinced. Each kill ... each
painstaking victory for the both of them ... each resulted only in

Communism And Greed In George Orwell s Animal Farm
In the world today, Communism is a feared form of government; societies look upon North Korea in
fear, and are scared of a day when their own government may turn to communism. When George
Orwell wrote and published Animal Farm in 1945, it was the year
WWII had ended. During the War, China and Russia were two major countries at war with each other;
at the time China had become a communist country. George Orwell, who greatly disapproved of
Communism, wrote Animal Farm to show the terrors of Communism and what causes it; which he
believed was greed and the desire for power. In Animal Farm, George Orwell examines and
illuminates that power and greed are two dangerous desires that will corrupt one and develop radical
behavior that will eventually ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Patch Adams Reflection
Patch Adams showcases how holism works and how it benefits the patients mentally and physically.
Holism is tying humanity to the physicality (Kretchmar, 2005) which is the central to Patch s views of
being a doctor and how he practices medicine throughout the film. The way that Patch heals the
patients by using laughter as a part of their treatment illustrates the definition of holism. Patch Adams
demonstrates a holistic approach to his practice by displaying holistic ideas which are that doctors
should connect with their patient on a personal level and the idea of treating the person and the
disease. To understand how Patch Adams exhibits holism, it s important to summarize the movie to
understand Patch s holistic approach. The movie is about Hunter Patch Adams journey in medical
school after he self committed himself to a mental hospital for his suicide attempts. While he was at
the mental hospital, the doctor didn t take the time to truly pay attention to him or give him actual
treatment which inspired him to become a doctor. At medical school, he immediately disagreed on
how the professors were teaching them in terms of just being technical and regarding themselves
about others. He starts visiting the university s hospital even though he isn t allowed because he was a
first year student and starts entertaining the patients. During his mission, the dean of the university
was against his holistic views and tries to expel him but Patch takes him to the court of

Cause And Effect Of Jfk Assassination
One of the most tragic moments in U.S. history happened before the naked eye. John F. Kennedy s
brutal assassination. Lee Harvey Oswald was the suspected assassin, but why would a former U.S
marine kill the president of the country he went to war for? Assassination means murdered for
political reasons. I believe that Kennedy s assassination was part of a much bigger plot, carried out by
more than just one lone assassin, and was planned well prior. Oswald was just an easy mark to pin the
crime on, he was set up, ...most likely by the CIA,who he was speculated to be a member of. (Morley)
Kennedy wanted to help poor people and wanted to help improve government health facilities, schools
and houses, and he was murdered for it, what would one lone man s motive be to kill someone that
only wanted to better this country? There was there a much bigger picture.

thirty nine years old and she lives with her two children, Franki and Jessica, and with her husband
Frank. The three topics I decided to interview Deborah on were political beliefs, philosophy of leisure
time and the goals in life.
The Person s Political Beliefs
Deborah considers herself a republican and believes that she is very conservative. She believes that
everyone should work for what they want in and from life rather than depend on someone else s
resources such as welfare. I then asked her about the current political issues such as abortion, LGBTQ,
illegal immigrants etc. Deborah considers herself a pro life. She believes abortion should be illegal
throughout the country, but with the exception of rape and amniocentesis; detects chromosome
abnormalities, neural tube defects, and genetic disorders. According to Deborah, every child should
have the opportunity to be born in this beautiful world and nobody should be able to take that right
away from them.
I then asked her how she feels about the issue of immigration. She responded that her family is not

that she does not always get to spend the amount of time she wants with her family but she is always
in the attempt. She tries to get out of work as early as she can, therefore, she can have dinner with her

General External Environment Analysis Essay
THE GENERAL EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT
Laka Muralidharan
General external environment is composed of dimensions in the broader society that influence an
industry and the firms within it. These dimensions can be can be grouped into the following six
environmental segments: demographic, economic, political/legal, sociocultural, technological and
global segments.
1) Demographic segment
China and India account for 1/3rd of the population and experts believe that they will remain the top
two populous countries at least until 2050. China and India would contribute 65 million and 142
million new workers respectively to the global workforce by the year 2020. Both countries offer large,
educated, relatively low cost workforces, and as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, since the recovery is just a few months old, there is still a lot of skepticism about whether it
is for real and whether it has some legs to run further. I think the worst is behind us, but the future is
still uncertain. I believe that it would take quite a while, at least a couple of years to get back to the
economic levels (unemployment rate and housing market) of 2006.
3) Political/Legal segment
This segment is an area where organizations compete for attention, resources and a voice in
overseeing the body of laws and regulations guiding the interactions among nations. As the politics of
regulations change, this segment influences the nature of competition through changing rules. An
example is the global trend toward privatization of government owned or regulated firms. Firms must
carefully analyze new political administration s business related policies and philosophies. Often,
firms develop a political strategy to influence government policies and actions that might affect them.
In the global scenario, more countries continue to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) as they
seem to believe that free trade across nations serves the best interest of individual countries and their
citizens. Down the line, many years from now, we would see a scenario where all countries in the
globe become members of organizations like WTO and there is a fair trade across all countries

portray the intensity that the advertisers want the buyers to feel. The snow covered mountains and
trees helps to illustrate the intense cold that the would be gum chewers will feel once they try the

The Allegory Of Hawthorne s Young Goodman Brown
A Reflection Summary for Young Goodman Brown By Nathaniel Hawthorne Nathaniel Hawthorne,
used many literary concepts in his work, Young Goodman Brown. The concepts he demonstrates help
the reader gain a more detailed meaning of the messages he was trying to convey. There are many
possible meanings and outlooks on the techniques he uses in this story. In Young Goodman Brown ,
Hawthorne used the time of day as an allegory throughout the course of the text to symbolize how
Goodman Brown progressively gave into the Devil s temptation. The use of the allegory, allows the
meaning of the setting to develop throughout the entire course of the text, creating a deeper meaning
rather than it being abruptly introduced. For example, when Hawthorne stated, ...the felled trunks and

causing the story and environment to get darker symbolizing how Brown loses his spirituality by
listening to the devil s arguments and staying in the forest. In addition to the author s use of allegory,
Hawthorne also uses Young Goodman Brown s wife, Faith, as a symbol to represent his spirituality
throughout his journey through the forest. The author uses this literary concept because he wants to
show how devoted Brown was to his faith, by comparing it to the relationship between man and wife.

Symbols In A Rose For Emily
The literary works in the short story ¨A Rose For Emily¨ by American Author William Faulkner is an
influential work because of the symbols, motifs, and theme that are expressed throughout the story,
which are based upon love and relationships. Faulkner portrays the story in third person limited which
allows us to know the thoughts and feelings of a single charcter. The narrator is never identified
throughout the story, but when we examine the tone we can understand there is this we person, who
changes his/her mind about Miss Emily at certain points in the narration. A symbol is something used
for or regarded as representing something else. One instance of symbolism in this short story is in the
title itself. The rose is a symbol of love in which case Homer is the rose or love for Emily. Emily s
father wanted the best for her, so he thought that no one was good enough. When her father passed

One motif that we see throughout the story is intense gazing of Emily by the narrator and the

and it was known that he drank with the younger men in the Elks Club that he was not a marrying

The Radical Change During The Renaissance Of A Young Boy...
How could a statue of a young boy with unconvincing looks as a hero be a notorious work of art?
With one glance at the statue, would you believe that this young man could have slain a giant? The
story of David and Goliath was very prevalent at the time, and during this period in history, it was
commissioned by Cosimo de Medici to represent the city of Florence. Florence wanted to show this
representation of David through his strength, courage, and youthful confidence in its city. So, dating
back to the 1440s, David was a prominent aspect of Renaissance art. The radical change during the
Renaissance led artists to alter the original composition of David. Some could agree that this change
may have given spectators a different outlook on the meaning and subliminal messages that this statue
possess. Different artists, such as Donatello, Michelangelo, and others, all portrayed David in different
perspectives. The many different compositions of David would lead one to think, what is the
importance behind this sculpture?
Standing a little over 5 feet in height and being a familiar work of art, Donatello s David is frequently
admired and discussed. Going back to the early life of the biblical David, Donatello depicts him in a
youthful manner. With the exaggerated pose, his hand being positioned at the back of the hip,
Donatello portrays the adolescent as an unconvincing hero to underscore the ability of virtue and
overcome the tyranny (Sayre 2015, 478). Not only was this

Trump Immigration Policy
Under the new immigration enforcement policies of the Trump administration millions of people
living in the United States illegally could soon be targeted for deportation. Any immigrant who is in
the country illegally and is charged or convicted of any offense, or even suspected of a crime, will
now be an enforcement priority, according to Homeland Security Department memos signed by
Secretary John Kelly. Under the Obama administration, immigrants whose only violation was being in
the country illegally were generally left alone.
Donald Trump s deportation policy focuses on anyone who has been charged with a criminal offense,
even if it has not led to a conviction. He also includes anyone who has committed acts that constitute a
chargeable criminal offense, (Medina, J). Which means anyone the authorities believe has broken any
type of law, regardless of whether that person has been charged with a crime. ... Show more content on

To get this done, he mainly plants to build the wall he has promised, as I mentioned. Trump initially
demanded for Mexico to pay for the building of the wall and Kelly s memos reiterate calls for
Homeland Security to start planning for the costs and construction (Baker, A). Also, during Trump s
earlier immigration orders, he banned all refugees as well as foreigners from seven Muslim majority
countries, which he has had extensive criticism and legal action.
While I do see immigrants coming to the United States illegally as an issue, the focus on which
immigrants or priority deportees is not efficient. It seems that most presidential administrations,
especially Donald Trumps have chosen to focus on immigrants with non threatening charges. I think
instead the focus should at least be on the illegal immigrants who are a threat to citizens like those in

Entitlement Programs And The Entitlement Program
America was founded on several principles to include, that all men are created equal. However,
throughout history, it has been made clear through the various social classes that this is not the case
within the realm of monetary value. It is for reasons such as this that the entitlement programs were
born. Entitlement programs were created to provide security and assistance to those in need. They
would allocate basic necessities for eligible persons and families to live comfortably until they are no
longer necessary. Though a great deal of people across the country have benefited from these
programs, it has come at a high cost to the government and the taxpayers. Because of the apparent
success and high expenses, there are a number of arguments both for and against entitlement
programs. This includes the extent of their benefits and costs, the amount spent to fuel them, and even
their entire existence. On one hand, they have proven value by significantly reducing the national
poverty level and other similar successes; on the other, they cost the country millions and have been
adding to the ever increasing national deficit. Another common school of thought, is that an increasing
number of individuals or families have become completely dependent on them as they create an
avenue to stability at no cost to them. The overwhelming and unnecessary volume of goods and
services including medicaid, unemployment compensation, and food stamps that entitlement programs
supply to many

What Is The Family Stress Theory In One Hundred Years Of...
Families go through many struggles and each family has their own way of dealing with them. In
Gabriela García Márquez s book, One Hundred Years of Solitude, the Buendía family goes through
major ups and downs. The family s reactions to these events is perfect for examining through the
family stress theory. The family stress theory explores why families break apart or stay together. By
examining the Buendías reactions to the events they go through, one can determine whether the
Buendías are prone to falling apart or coming together when faced with adversity. This paper will
explore the three generations of Buendías in the book, as well as their responses to their respective
stressful events. The three generations are José Arcadio Buendía, Úrsula and their children, Arcadio,
Santa Sofía and their children, and Fernanda s children and the later two Aurelianos. Their responses
to the events that happen in their lifetimes will be examined as well as how these responses differ
from the other generations. Examining these responses will explain the source of the Buendías
strength in the beginning of the novel as well as the lack of strength as the novel progresses Initially
the Buendías are prone to handling their issues together. Later on in the book they start to drift off and
expand into a separate entity instead of a cohesive group. The three generations gradually show this
change. The first Buendías stick together through everything and are written as a family working
together. The first generation of Buendias adapted to the changes in their family house more
successfully then the future generations. The matriarch and patriarch of the Buendías, Úrsula and José
Arcadio Buendía, introduce themselves as a strong couple. They stick together While José deals with
guilt after killing Prudencio Aguilar. This unity spreads through to their children. Resilience, defined
as the phenomenon of doing well in the face of adversity(1) specifically in children, shows through
Aureliano s behavior; he repeatedly steps up to handle a crisis. Although Jose Arcadio and Ursula left
the house, Jose Arcadio Buendía and Aureliano step up to take care of Amaranta as time put things in
their place (García Márquez 35). The family

The Disadvantageous Of Web Gis
The Disadvantageous of Web GIS Their Solutions Whether it is scientific, social, technological, or
theoretical, there are always flaws and improvements that can be created for a particular topic. The
iPhone first came out in 2007 with features such as Visual Voicemail, multi touch gestures, HTML
email, Safari web browser, threaded text messaging, and Youtube. Many of the features that are
common in Smartphones today such as MMS, apps, and copy and paste, did not exist. However, every
year since 2007, the iPhone gradually became more advanced with a multitude of features available.
This same concept can be applied to the flaws of Web GIS. This system is faulty, however, with the
continuous advancement in technology and more research that can be conducted on the structure of
this platform, several Internet GIS may be resolved. Internet GIS, while a powerful tool, has a broad
range of issues varying from technological complications to social justice issues.
There are many Web GIS issues that must be resolved in order for its full potential to be maximized.
Firstly, the Web GIS environment is dependent on several technological factors. Among these are
internet connection and speed (Dragicevic, 2004), traffic intensity, data efficiency, and the capacity of
the client and server machines (Kraak, 2004). Internet GIS relies heavily on the extensive use of
graphics, and connection speeds over the Internet can make heavy use of graphic intolerably slow for
users.

Army collection inspired by Rousteing himself. They have made the price range of the products in the

No matter at what level whether its high school, college or a professional, athletes should not be using drugs to help or boost their performance in any way as it wrong and the athlete is basically cheating his way to the top. Having read The Ignorant Schoolmaster, the book informs an individual about the intellectual quests of Joseph Jacotot, a man who put in great effort to advance his views of intellectual emancipation in the 18th and 19th centuries. He explains how people are too dependent on others in order to obtain knowledge which they can do on their own. *Upon reading his argument, I begin to agree with his view on our education system and how it s dulling the minds of individuals. * In the first chapter, An Intellectual Adventure, Ranciere believes that most individuals think they cannot gain knowledge without a master; someone needs to directly teach them the material. He believes that the normal way of teaching is dangerous, if a student is always being told what to learn then in some sense they are being trained to think that they cannot figure out what to learn without having someone actually telling them. What Ranciere sees as dangerous is not that we have things explained to us, but that we develop attitudes of inferiority and superiority. The issue is we believe others cannot learn something without us explaining and we think we cannot learn if we are not explained to. Ranciere wrote, The book is made up of a series of reasoning s designed to make a student understand some material. But now the schoolmaster opens his mouth to explain the book. The hearing took place in the wake of the first major Ukrainian Russian gas dispute in 2006 that not only demonstrated the Kremlin s motives to use its energy resources, natural gas in particular, as a weapon to meddle in its immediate neighbors domestic affairs, but also show the rest of Europe s, especially Central and Southeastern Europe s, extreme dependency on Russia s energy supplies. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The most important Kremlin sponsored projects have been the planned Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream pipelines which both intend to carry gas to EU countries by circumventing Russia s immediate post Soviet neighbors. According to Doran, the Kremlin s motive is clearly to end the role that Ukraine, and to a lesser extent Moldova, currently plays in the transit of gas to the EU through the Brotherhood and the Trans Balkan pipelines. The success of Nord Stream 2 could potentially result in the loss of billions of dollars in transit revenues for Ukraine and Moldova, as well as diminishing their geopolitical importance for Europe, while subsequently enabling Russia to reassert its old influence over them by exploiting their diminished energy security. As a result of massive infrastructure projects promoted by the EU to develop reverse flow capacities on existing pipelines and create new interconnections, Ukraine is now capable of purchasing gas from a Western direction and, for the first time, since November 2015 has ceased buying gas contractually from Russia altogether. As the politics of regulations change, this segment influences the nature of competition through changing rules. An example is the global trend toward privatization of government owned or regulated firms. Firms must carefully analyze new political administration s business related policies and philosophies. Often, firms develop a political strategy to influence government policies and actions that might affect them. In the global scenario, more countries continue to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) as they seem to believe that free trade across nations serves the best interest of individual countries and their citizens. Symbols In A Rose For Emily The literary works in the short story ¨A Rose For Emily¨ by American Author William Faulkner is an influential work because of the symbols, motifs, and theme that are expressed throughout the story, which are based upon love and relationships. The narrator is never identified throughout the story, but when we examine the tone we can understand there is this we person, who changes his/her mind about Miss Emily at certain points in the narration. • 35. The Radical Change During The Renaissance Of A Young Boy... How could a statue of a young boy with unconvincing looks as a hero be a notorious work of art? With one glance at the statue, would you believe that this young man could have slain a giant? The story of David and Goliath was very prevalent at the time, and during this period in history, it was commissioned by Cosimo de Medici to represent the city of Florence. Florence wanted to show this representation of David through his strength, courage, and youthful confidence in its city. So, dating back to the 1440s, David was a prominent aspect of Renaissance art. The radical change during the Renaissance led artists to alter the original composition of David. Some could agree that this change may have given spectators a different outlook on the meaning and subliminal messages that this statue possess. Different artists, such as Donatello, Michelangelo, and others, all portrayed David in different perspectives. The many different compositions of David would lead one to think, what is the importance behind this sculpture? Standing a little over 5 feet in height and being a familiar work of art, Donatello s David is frequently admired and discussed. Going back to the early life of the biblical David, Donatello depicts him in a youthful manner. With the exaggerated pose, his hand being positioned at the back of the hip, Donatello portrays the adolescent as an unconvincing hero to underscore the ability of virtue and overcome the tyranny (Sayre 2015, 478). Under the Obama administration, immigrants whose only violation was being in the country illegally were generally left alone. Donald Trump s deportation policy focuses on anyone who has been charged with a criminal offense, even if it has not led to a conviction. However, throughout history, it has been made clear through the various social classes that this is not the case within the realm of monetary value. It is for reasons such as this that the entitlement programs were born. Entitlement programs were created to provide security and assistance to those in need. They would allocate basic necessities for eligible persons and families to live comfortably until they are no longer necessary. Though a great deal of people across the country have benefited from these programs, it has come at a high cost to the government and the taxpayers. Because of the apparent success and high expenses, there are a number of arguments both for and against entitlement programs. This includes the extent of their benefits and costs, the amount spent to fuel them, and even their entire existence. On one hand, they have proven value by significantly reducing the national poverty level and other similar successes; on the other, they cost the country millions and have been adding to the ever increasing national deficit. Another common school of thought, is that an increasing number of individuals or families have become completely dependent on them as they create an avenue to stability at no cost to them. • 38. What Is The Family Stress Theory In One Hundred Years Of... Families go through many struggles and each family has their own way of dealing with them. In Gabriela García Márquez s book, One Hundred Years of Solitude, the Buendía family goes through major ups and downs. The family s reactions to these events is perfect for examining through the family stress theory. The family stress theory explores why families break apart or stay together. By examining the Buendías reactions to the events they go through, one can determine whether the Buendías are prone to falling apart or coming together when faced with adversity. This paper will explore the three generations of Buendías in the book, as well as their responses to their respective stressful events. The three generations are José Arcadio Buendía, Úrsula and their children, Arcadio, Santa Sofía and their children, and Fernanda s children and the later two Aurelianos. Their responses to the events that happen in their lifetimes will be examined as well as how these responses differ from the other generations. Examining these responses will explain the source of the Buendías strength in the beginning of the novel as well as the lack of strength as the novel progresses Initially the Buendías are prone to handling their issues together. Later on in the book they start to drift off and expand into a separate entity instead of a cohesive group. The three generations gradually show this change. The first Buendías stick together through everything and are written as a family working together. The first generation of Buendias adapted to the changes in their family house more successfully then the future generations. The matriarch and patriarch of the Buendías, Úrsula and José Arcadio Buendía, introduce themselves as a strong couple. They stick together While José deals with guilt after killing Prudencio Aguilar. This unity spreads through to their children. Resilience, defined as the phenomenon of doing well in the face of adversity(1) specifically in children, shows through Aureliano s behavior; he repeatedly steps up to handle a crisis. Although Jose Arcadio and Ursula left the house, Jose Arcadio Buendía and Aureliano step up to take care of Amaranta as time put things in their place (García Márquez 35). The family ... The Disadvantageous Of Web Gis The Disadvantageous of Web GIS Their Solutions Whether it is scientific, social, technological, or theoretical, there are always flaws and improvements that can be created for a particular topic. The iPhone first came out in 2007 with features such as Visual Voicemail, multi touch gestures, HTML email, Safari web browser, threaded text messaging, and Youtube. Many of the features that are common in Smartphones today such as MMS, apps, and copy and paste, did not exist. However, every year since 2007, the iPhone gradually became more advanced with a multitude of features available. This same concept can be applied to the flaws of Web GIS. This system is faulty, however, with the continuous advancement in technology and more research that can be conducted on the structure of this platform, several Internet GIS may be resolved. Internet GIS, while a powerful tool, has a broad range of issues varying from technological complications to social justice issues. There are many Web GIS issues that must be resolved in order for its full potential to be maximized. Firstly, the Web GIS environment is dependent on several technological factors. Among these are internet connection and speed (Dragicevic, 2004), traffic intensity, data efficiency, and the capacity of the client and server machines (Kraak, 2004).
