5. What are Auto-layout slides?
● PowerPoint provides users with a choice of some
commonly used slide formats
● Each slide is made up of one or more frames or
boxes
● There are text frames, pictures frames, chart
frames, etc.
● These frames are pre-formatted to certain fonts,
sizes and alignments, but they can be changed to
suit the user
● Each time a new slide is required, go to the Insert
menu and choose New slide

paste button retrieves it from the clipboard and

If you move your cursor over any icon
on the screen and leave the mouse there
for a second, the name of what the icon

create a delay before an effect starts. 6. To

add animation and choose an animation to

1. Select the slide that you want to start the
slide show from. 2. On the slide show tab,click
play. 3. On the slide show tab,click the arrow
next to the custom show button,and then click
custom slide show on menu. 4. In the custom
shows screen, click the custom slide show you
want to present.
