This document summarizes feedback from three individuals on a Sixth Form Success marketing piece. The first feedback noted that the picture was unclear and the text too close to the margin, while praising the eye-catching layout and font variety. The second feedback suggested moving the background image to make more space and liked the colors and logo. The third feedback noted some text was hard to read against the background but liked relating to the target audience. In conclusion, the feedback was somewhat vague but covered enough points to make improvements.

This document explores how drama can be used as a bridge to help teach multiple literacies. It argues that drama appeals to different learning styles and adheres to models of effective language teaching by embedding words in context through role adoption. Compared to simply reading text, drama allows students to engage in more cognitively demanding tasks like improvisation that develop higher-order thinking skills and multiliteracies. The document examines various theories and frameworks that support how drama performance can help develop language proficiency beyond just comprehension. It suggests drama is a form of literacy itself and that role playing allows students to express real emotions in a safer way than responding to print alone.

In recent years, businesses and families have left
Upstate New York in record numbers. Private
sector job losses have devastated our communities.
New York State’s leaders have not shown a
commitment to job creation and economic
development. In fact, our image over the last
decade has been quite the opposite – we have one
of the worst business climates in the nation.
It is beyond dispute that the state’s policies have
contributed to our economic problems by failing
to meet the economic challenges we face. In
many cases, Albany hasn’t just failed to act – state
government has actually adopted policies that have
made our economic situation even worse.
This report takes a hard look at what New York
State has done right since the beginning of 2011,
and what additional steps will address the high cost of doing business in the state.
