Uma cobra perseguiu um vaga-lume por três dias sem parar, apesar de o vaga-lume não fazer parte da cadeia alimentar da cobra ou ter feito algum mal a ela. Ao ser questionada, a cobra admitiu que o perseguia porque não suportava ver o vaga-lume brilhar.

SERÁ QUE O CRENTE PERDE A SALVAÇÃO? COMENTADO
Eu sempre admirei o ex-padre Aníbal Pereira dos Reis, por isto tenho lançado todos os seus livros com meus comentários. Mas isto não quer dizer que concordo com todos seus posicionamentos. Eu sou pentecostal, e ele é da geração dos cristãos tradicionais que não acreditam na atualidade dos dons do Espírito Santo. Eu sou arminiano e acredito no livre arbítrio humano, ainda que a vontade humana esteja corrompida pelo pecado, isto não deixou o homem incapaz de escolher o bem ou o mal, já Aníbal era calvinista, como veremos nos constantes embates neste livro em que discuto com Aníbal. Eu acredito que enquanto estamos neste mundo, estamos sujeitos a cair do estado de graça, se eu rejeitar, negar, trair e abandonar o Senhor. Aníbal defende esta ideia esdruxula do determinismo que considero antibíblica, antinatural, antijurídica e muito irracional. Nas páginas que se seguirão, Aníbal argumentará a favor da tese: “uma vez salvo, salvo para sempre.” Enquanto eu vomitarei todo meu asco nesta estapafúrdia ideia diabólica que responsabiliza Deus pela decisão de colocar uns no céu, sem que estes mostrem qualquer iniciativa ou participação na sua salvação, nem mesmo desejando a salvação, e esta concepção maluca calvinista acusa Deus de não dar chances alguma a boa parte da humanidade de escolher o caminho da verdade. O calvinismo neste quesito é pior que o satanismo e a soberania do Deus calvinista me parece mais o triunfo do mal e que até Lúcifer é vítima deste Deus arbitrário.
ESTUDO SOBRE PREMONIÇÃO [PARAPSICOLOGIA]
Premonição é em síntese uma advertência de algo que está prestes a acontecer a qual se recebe uma comunicação do mundo espiritual, seja do próprio espírito da pessoa, de outro [telepatia], de anjos, demônios, ou do próprio Deus, e até de pessoas que já morreram e animais que podem emitirem sinais. Estamos no campo da metafisica, da física quântica e do mundo espiritual. Alguns destes avisos sobrenaturais e paranormais permitem que o receptor da mensagem opte por um ou outro destino, todavia, outras premonições parecem fatalistas o que significa que a pessoa fica sabendo o que está prestes a acontecer, mas não consegue impedir o desfecho. Este ensaio apresenta as várias possibilidades que podem acionar o gatilho da premonição e o seu mecanismo, mas ninguém consegue dominar a arte da premonição, se antecipando ao conhecimento do que está prestes a acontecer a hora que quiser. Este livro vai, no mínimo, deixa-lo intrigado.

A CÚPULA DO VATICANO É HOMOSSEXUAL [CATOLICISMO]
Este livro é uma bomba de informações sobre a relação do Vaticano e o homossexualismo, o texto base pertence ao jornalista francês Frédéric Martel na sua consagrada obra NO ARMÁRIO DO VATICANO. Neste obra, eu faço meus comentários sobre os primeiros dois capítulos do texto de Martel. As informações sobre a quantidade de altos membros do Vaticano envolvidos na pratica homossexual é de um escândalo sem precedentes na história do cristianismo. Fico imaginando a tristeza de muitos católicos ao saberem que no Vaticano em vez daqueles “homens santos” estarem orando e jejuando, estão na verdade fazendo sexo anal com seus amantes. Sodoma se instalou no Vaticano e a doutrina do celibato obrigatório canalizou muitos homens com tendencias homossexuais a optarem pelo sacerdócio católico como uma forma de camuflar suas preferencias sexuais sem despertar suspeitas na sociedade. Mas vivemos na era da informação e certas coisas não dá mais para esconder. A Igreja Católica esta diante de um dilema: ou permite a pratica aberta do homossexualismo ou expurga esta prática antibíblica do seu seio. Mas como veremos nesta série de livros, acho que os gays são maioria e já tomaram o poder no Vaticano. O próximo livro desta série é O MUNDO GAY DO VATICANO, onde continuarei comentado o resultado das investigações de Frédéric Martel. Ao final também coloco um apêndice com as revelações do arcebispo CARLOS MARIA VIGANÒ na famosa carta chamada TESTEMUNHO.

How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental Health
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
