LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can

2. Comparing Gender And The Media
3.2 Gender and the Media.
3.2.1 The portrayal of men in films
There are a variety of men portrayed in modern films: ranging from the most common manly man to
the goofball to the slowly emerging more sensitive man: one who is more comfortable with
stereotypically female emotions such as sadness. Men in films such as The Hangover fall into the lad
category, characterized by their immaturity, and adolescent behavior (Moore 1998:209). Men are also
portrayed as the warrior , or hero in films such as Saving Private Ryan , or San Andreas respectively.
Both films demonstrate male actors in traditionally male roles, saving the day, often rescuing women
(more so in the latter than the former). Men are also portrayed as players or ... Show more content on

MPDGs are said to help their men without pursuing their own happiness, and such characters never
grow up; thus, their men never grow up. (Wikipedia) This trope is particularly disliked amongst
feminists due to the portrayal of women as not only objects for the male to obtain, but also because of
the negative light it shines on women.
3.2.3 The narcissistic man
The narcissist is characterised by status all the right labels, the best grooming, and the perfect wife
(Fourie 2008:313). Many men in media are portrayed in this light, such as Don Draper from Mad Men
who only wore the most expensive suits both as a status symbol, and as a means of intimidating and
impressing those in his field. The narcissist is also used often in adverts, such as George Clooney
posing for Nespresso these ads appeal to the narcissist who will view a Nespresso machine not only as
a status symbol, but to make themselves appear more attractive through the acquisition of the
machine.
3.2.4 The yuppie man
The Yuppie must have. (Mort 1996:172). Yuppies are often portrayed as young, single men who make
it their mission to have the best of everything designer suits, sports cars, watches. They

3. The Three Sciences
The three sciences and their knowledge
How knowledge produced is influenced by vocabulary and environmental conditions
In the world of science, there are three main categories which cover many other disciplines. These
three main groups are the natural sciences, the social sciences and humanities. As the name natural
sciences indicates, the main focus of this particular group of scientists is to find regularities in the
irregular world of today. They would create formulas and structures to illustrate movement. The social
sciences shed light on how people feel and what they go through. Some of the disciplines that fall
under the social sciences are psychology and political science. This means that social scientists focus
on people related ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The difference in knowledge typically produced by these sciences is highly influenced by the effects
environmental circumstances have on the research that is conducted. Vocabulary use is very different
among the three sciences. in the first case mentioned it is clear that it has an influence on the
knowledge, however, the second case shows that it changes the context rather than that it influences
the knowledge. The main difference in vocabulary lies in the fact that the sciences lay their focus on
different aspects. This means that even if they research the same person, they can still have very
different results. Furthermore, the conducted research can be influenced by many environmental
factors which impact the end results and so the knowledge produced. Even though the natural sciences
can often control the conditions they work in, this does not mean that this does not have an influence
on the results. As the social sciences and humanities do not have the direct possibility of controlling
the conditions they do their research in, this means that these conditions have a large effect on the
knowledge eventually produced. In this way the three sciences are very different, which causes the
knowledge produced differ greatly as

As the movie started, everyone silently watched until the killer jumped out which frightened Kagome

nobody noticed then moved off his lap not saying a word. Sesshomaru watched her then turned his
attention from her blushing face back to the movie. Still looking like a tomato Kagome moved as far
away from Sesshomaru as the couch they were sitting on let her. I really hope they leave soon. I don t

5. Advantages And Disadvantages Of DSLR
Introduction:
DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras have redefined motion picture photography. Today they
offer more than what we ever thought off. Technological revolutions have swept the world like never
before and today, a camera stands for more than just a tool to capture family functions. Who knew that
major feature films and television shows would eventually start shooting with cameras that primarily
marketed for consumers and prosumers?
The movie mode of a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera is a revolutionary movie making
technology as important like the invention of emulsion and colour film in photography, 16mm and
35mm films for motion picture photography. Nikon D90 is the first DSLR to introduce video

There is nothing like an all purpose lens. Each lens is suitable for a particular purpose.
Each lens has some pro and cons.
Different lenses render how we perceive the subject and setting descriptively, emotionally and
aesthetically. Different lenses give the freedom of choosing the angle of view according to the subject
and are measured by the focal length. Focal length of a DSLR camera is the distance between the
optical centre of a lens to the imaging sensor when the lens is focused at infinity.
The two main choices of a film maker while choosing lens is either a prime lens (lens with a fixed
focal length) or a zoom lens (lens with a variable focal length). For narrative film making prime lenses
are best. Prime lenses are faster as compared to zoom lenses. Fast refers to the maximum opening
(aperture) of the lens. Fast lenses (such as f/1.4 or f/1.8) allow shooting in low lighting conditions.
Fast lenses allow capturing footage with a dramatically shallow depth of field. It gives more visual
versatility. Prime lenses have fewer lens elements and give good sharp images in comparison to zoom
lenses. For documentaries zoom lenses are better for their flexibility in creating

In real life, many define their trust by judging solely on others by their appearances. Trust is valued if
one is to appear trust worthy or not. Though sometimes, appearances are deceiving. The theme of
Appearance versus reality refers to the entire world in this book. Many of the characters such as
Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are deceived by what seems real, but is not. This mistaken judgment of
what is real or not shadows the consequences that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth encounter. At first
Macbeth s characters gives the impression of bravery and strength, and also appears at one point, that

It was a scary thing. I hoped I d never have to be with him alone because I didn t want him to croak on

11. Ethical Issue And The Ethical Dilemma
Leadership Ethics Introduction In this week s assignment, we have been asked to identify an ethical
issue presented in the Devise Products Unlimited (DPU) case study. First we will discuss the issue and
the ethical dilemma it creates. Next we will look at possible recommendations for the DPU CEO to
handle this issue. The Ethical Issue First, let s start by looking at what the ethical issue that DPU is
facing. The issue that I have chosen to focus on is issue two from the case study: DPU outsources
some of the manufacturing of parts to a Third World country. The DPU CEO recently discovered that
the organization to which he outsources has been forcing laborers to work seven days a week and 10
hours a day. These laborers receive minimal wages, yet without the work their families could starve
and they would be homeless. The organization is the only large employer in the area, and if the DPU
CEO terminated his contract with the organization, it would likely close, leaving hundreds of people
without jobs. Before addressing the factors that are involved in this issue lets discuss some of the
background information surrounding this issue. First what is outsourcing, outsourcing is the practice
of hiring an outside firm or individual to perform contracted work as an alternative to paying
employees to do it (Kokemuller, 2007). Companies use outsourcing based on expertise and cost of
labor advantages. The subject of outsourcing in its self can often time be a much

It`s true that strict rules and tight regulations are necessary they protect consumers, customer safety,
environment and other things. However sometimes it causes some burdens on businesses. It always
increases the cost of operations. Also turnaround time for repairs was highly critical and cost for flight
delay was extremely huge. Customers might be upset or even shift to other airlines if delays caused
them lose the connecting flights. Thus, the cost of aircraft delays was crucial element in engineering.
Bargaining power of supplier, difficulty to forecast demand and harsh competitions were other
important issues in aviation industry. As a result of tight aviation regulations airline companies, as a
customer, were constrained in supplier selection. Spare parts solely supplied by only single dominated
supplier as called OEM (original equipment supplier). The limited choice and high concentration of
OEM`s limited airline operators` negotiation power. According to the M. Porter`s five force analysis
aviation industry has low entrance barrier and it cause very intensive competition between airlines
operators. A few decades ago flying with airline was very expensive for ordinary people but today
everyone can benefit from this because airline ticket prices have constantly and significantly fallen.

History
In 793, Vikings raided and colonized large parts of Europe. They invaded and eventually settled in
Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland. This area became known as Scandinavia. The
Scandinavian population consisted of mostly Vikings during its early years.Scandinavian people spoke
Old Norse, a North Germanic language developed in the area. It was spoken from the 9th to 13th

Religion
The main religion of Scandinavia was Norse. The Norse religion was a polytheistic religion mainly
practiced in Scandinavia during the Viking Age. It was based around mythology. Some of their most
popular deities are Thor; the god of thunder, strength, and mankind; Odin; the god of healing, royalty,

The Pixar feature animation, Inside Out (2015), uses computer generated animation techniques to

animation to some aspects of the animation. The Inside Out story takes place in two different worlds.
The inside world which is Riley s mind controlled by five of her emotions and the outside world,
where she lives with her parents. Inside Out combines the elements of both traditional animation and
computer animation to show how Riley s two worlds differ from the other. Riley s outside world

The constructed space of the outside world with three dimensional figures in it presents a world close

extent of its hyperrealism. The ability of the characters in Riley s inside world to transform eases up
the tension the three dimensionality and hyperrealism the space of the outside world generates. For
example, in the sequence Joy, Sadness and Bing Bong get trapped in the room of abstract thought,

15. Barlifting Flaws
There are about a million technique flaws that can be exhibited in the snatch, clean, and jerk. And,
unfortunately for coaches and athletes alike, it is common for more than one of these faults to be
displayed in a lifter at the same time. So when someone has multiple technique errors that need to be
fixed, where do you start?
Perhaps it s obvious, but you should not try to fix everything all at once.
Experience has shown that giving a lifter multiple corrections to focus on at once tends to make things
worse. If you re lucky, both things will sort of improve, but not as optimally as if you kept the cue
singular.
This doesn t mean that you can t correct more than one thing in a day (though often that s a good idea,
especially if the fault ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This doesn t just mean the set up on the ground; I have new lifters do a lot of work from the hang, and
achieving the proper set up in these positions is also extremely important.
I believe that lifts done from the hang should look as close as possible positioning wise to those same
points in the full lifts. For example, I see many people try to bend their knees so much that they
protrude past the bar when lowering down into an above the knee hang position. But the fact is, that
position never actually occurs in a full lift the body will instead be hinged over, with shoulders out in
front of the bar, and the knees bent only slightly. If your set up is incorrect whether from the hang or
from the floor, it is much more difficult to reach proper positions during the rest of the lift.
At this point, in someone who came in with multiple technique flaws, the odds are good that they were
deficient in at least one of the above points. My purpose with this post is not to give a complete
description of the entire priority list for error correction in weightlifting, but just to give ideas on
starting points when a lifter displays more than one

16. Analysis Of Strange Memes, By Sherry Turkle
Humans have mastered the skill of copying others. Mostly everyone follows what they were shown;
they copy whatever they were taught. This is the idea of memes being passed down. Susan Blackmore
describes how memes have taken over our lives. She talks in her article, Strange Creatures, what
memes are and how the theory of selfish meme theory is being shown throughout living creatures.
Meme is the idea of imitating someone else s thoughts. Selfish is implied as thoughts being passed
down and trying to dominate other thoughts. Memes spread randomly and humans continue to use
those same thoughts. Mostly no one believes in creating their own thoughts. She describes how the
thought of copying has been passed down and the idea that occurs is spread throughout everyone.
Sherry Turkle specifically talks about the use of technology in her article, Alone Together . Everyone
uses technology whether it is good for them or not. Turkle describes how everyone has become
desperate to their gadgets. She talks more about people becoming dependent and how people want
technology. Blackmore s theory applies to Turkle s examples of the use of technology. The idea that
the use of technology is a meme. Everyone believes the use of technology is necessary for daily lives
since it has become normal to them. Therefore, the use of meme theory is being shown in society s
daily lives; this makes the outcome of the use of meme theory scary since everyone is copying others

Aggression in Middle School Girls
It was eight o clock on a cold night in January. Our house rang with giggles and whispers and the
occasional shriek of laughter. In the family room the latest teenie bopper flick was amusing a crowd of
pajama clad seventh graders. The sound of pounding feet from above betrayed that others were having
an impromptu dance party/ pillow fight. The phone book was missing. My little sister, Lily, was
having a sleepover.
Mom had rushed to the store when it was discovered that there was no more ice cream in the freezer.
My father had wisely retreated to the parlor to read. I was in charge. Suddenly, from upstairs I heard a

Psychologists and social workers have churned out books, websites, and articles targeting parents,
teachers and girls themselves, offering advice and research on how to handle pubescent girls. While
there are many competing viewpoints, all seem to agree that, contrary to centuries of cross cultural
social stereotypes, girls are, in fact, naturally aggressive creatures. Unlike their male counterparts,
young girls use entirely different forms of aggression, collectively known as subtle aggression or
alternative aggression.
Every afternoon between Monday and Friday, Lily stalks up the driveway from the bus stop and hurls
open the front door while throwing her book bag across the room. About three out of the five
afternoons she stomps in with a melodramatic sigh and crumples into a chair or Mom s arms, weeping.

I don t speak. I m sorry, (Foer 30) is a phrase frequently written by Thomas Schell Sr., a character in
Extremely Loud Incredibly Close, after he survives the traumatic Dresden bombing. Extremely Loud
Incredibly Close by Jonathan Foer explores a different traumatic experience, the effect of Thomas Jr. s
death in 9/11 on his son Oskar. After his father s death, Oskar seeks understanding and comfort in his
search for the lock to fit the key left to him by his father. Similarly, Bruce Springsteen s album The
Rising examined the many ways people find comfort after a disaster, particularly after the 9/11
attacks. The common theme of seeking comfort after a loss is demonstrated in both Extremely Loud
Incredibly Close and The Rising as a literal journey and as a search for physical and emotional human
connection, although The Rising emphasizes finding comfort in religion.
Oskar Schell and the narrators of Further On (Up the Road) and Lonesome Day take a literal journey
to find comfort. Oskar s journey starts after finding an envelope containing a key with Black written
on the outside in his father s closet a year after his death. Because of the reconnaissance missions the
two frequently took together, Oskar believes it is a message to him and tries to stay connected with his
father by finding the lock. Indeed, he says, Every time I left our apartment to go searching for the

24. Arginine Vasopressin And The Plasma Membranes
Water reabsorption is regulated by vasopressin since its release increases the water permeability of
distal tubule and collecting duct cells in the kidney. After stimulation by vasopressin, aquaporin 2
(AQP2) accumulates in the plasma membrane of these target cells on the apical side. Aquaporin 2 is a
water channel that allows water to be reabsorbed from the filtrate (urine), returned to the bloodstream
and consequently concentrating urine. To this day, the trafficking mechanisms that recruit AQP2 to the
apical plasma membrane are still not well understood. Recent studies have shown that cyclic
adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) may not be required for arginine vasopressin (AVP) mediated
AQP2 membrane targeting, and that other signaling ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since it is the excessive expression followed by apical translocation of the Aquaporin 2 that leads to
congestive heart failure (CHF) and other water imbalance disorders, studying the mechanism of the
pathway that leads to this translocation is important (Yui et al. 2017). Congestive heart failure in rats,
in two separate studies, was shown to be associated with the over accumulation of the Aquaporin 2
channels in the apical membrane of the distal tubal and collective duct cells in kidneys which causes
the fluid from the filtrate (urine) to be reabsorbed into the bloodstream(Brond et al., 2013)(Nielson et
al. 1997). This results in water retention in tissues in different parts of the body which leads to
congestion in the body. If prolonged, the condition will lead to congestive heart failure, abbreviated
CHF. In a study of this phenomenon, they argued that vasopressin should normalize water absorption
in terms of increasing the permeability of the distal tubule and collecting duct cells to water (Soren
Nielson et al. 1997) and in doing such, would increase the concentration of AQP2 along the apical
membrane of distal tube and collecting ducts (Soren Nielson et al. 1997). Such was the backbone of
credence that let to their study that CHF may be a counter consequence of

Modern life has become accustomed to the use and influence of mass communication. The telegraph,
gramophone, radio transmission, and moving images such as television are some of the earliest forms
of mass communication that became entangled with various capitalist government regulations and an
interpersonal mass audience. In the 1980 s a second media revolution began to emerge with the
technological advancements of digital convergence which is the ability to access a range of
multimedia content across a number media platforms with a number of devices. This essay will

mass communication era has ended.
Mass communication may be interpreted differently to a number of people. Many relate the method to
the shear number of people engaging in the type of communication, the mass of the people or size of
the audience. However others may focus of the second part of the word, communication and think of
mass communication in the traditional sense that it was based of the idea of exchange (Chafee
Metzger, 2001, pp. 355 356). Until recently, mass communication was the idea of connecting with a
large audience and a vast demographic, however that no longer applies due to the arrival of media

Flattery in Pride and Prejudice
Since its composition in 1797, Jane Austin s Pride and Prejudice has enjoyed two centuries of literary
esteem not because of its witty dialogue or its tantalizing plot, but because of its universal themes that
allow modern readers to identify with early Victorian life. Although the novel focuses on the etiquette
of courtship, related social rituals are also prevalent throughout the story. William Collins, a rector in

Of the three distinct directions Collins aims his flattery, the most complex to explicate is arguably that
praise he directs toward himself. In a letter to the Bennet family, he writes I flatter myself that my
present overtures of good will are highly commendable...[and you will not] reject the offered olive
branch (67). In this introduction to Collins, he asserts his benevolence as nothing short of remarkable
and immediately springs from that notion to presume it bears influence over others. His self assuring
antics appear in an argument later when he remarks ...I consider myself more fitted by education and
habitual study to decide on what is right than a young lady like yourself (106 107). Collins self
directed flattery empowers him with decisive confidence that allows him to win logical disputes by
default, no doubt bolstering his self image and augmenting his probability for affluence.
On numerous occasions, Collins asserts the importance of his appointment as rector in the community,
implying that he thinks highly of the rigid demeanor required to fulfill the duties of his imminent
position.

A migraine? Migraines, severe painful headaches often proceeded or accompanied by sensory warning
signs such as flashes of light, blind spots, tingling in the arms and legs, nausea, vomiting, and
increased sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine headaches result from a combination of blood vessel
enlargement and the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around the blood vessel. This then
causes the sympathetic nervous system to respond with nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. These
migraine headaches are commonly misdiagnosed as tension type headaches or sinus headaches.
During the headache, an artery enlarges that is located on the outside of the skull just under the skin of
the temple. This causes a release of chemicals that cause inflammation, pain, and further enlargement
of the artery. (http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migraine)

but follow of the trend of supporting genetic engineering. While certain aspects put some moral codes
into question, genetic engineering is beneficial to humanity because will lead to a more understanding
and capable society, can be used as a route to incredible possibilities, and it provides people with
better opportunities. Many who attempt to take a stance on genetic engineering are unaware of what it
actually is, and therefore are unable to make a proper argument. There have been several instances in
which a debate has taken place over the topic, yet half of those who participated did not have a proper
understanding of it. In a study taken place to measure the general biomedical and genetic literacy in
