you've got to put in the work. That means spending time
each and every day honing your craft and studying the
masters. You need to learn the art of storytelling and how

them to make complex ideas simple and relatable.

eyes and be real with them. But don't just stop there.

problems with everyone and their mom. Nobody's got time for
that. Instead, share how you feel. During jury selection, for
example, I've been known to tell the jury that I'm nervous.
That I'm worried I won't do a good job for my clients. That this
is their one and only opportunity to find justice. I ask if any of
them feel the same way? And you know what? That level of
honesty builds rapport and connects us in a way that nothing
else can. So, my friends, don't be afraid to be vulnerable.
Embrace who you are and share it with the world.

straight talk for you. Are you ready? Good. Here it is: your
reputation is everything. That's right, I said it. Everything. It's

that mean for you? It means that you need to be unwavering in
your commitment to doing what's best for your clients. It means
that you need to steer clear of any and all conduct or activities
that could potentially tarnish your sterling reputation.

remember, the most successful attorneys are the ones who
have built a rock-solid reputation based on trust, integrity,
and unwavering commitment to doing what's right. Without a
good reputation in this profession, you have nothing.
