[SUMMARY]
This chapter analyzes the possible benefits of including commercial fertilizers supplemented with humic acids, fulvic acids, and amino acids in the development of newly planted coffee seedlings in the field. A trial was conducted comparing the development of Coffea arabica cv. Mundo Novo plants cultivated using the standard practices versus those that received special fertilizers containing nutrients, humic acids, fulvic acids, and amino acids. Evaluations showed that supplementing the nutritional program with special fertilizers was effective for leaf development, branch emission, stem diameter, and plant height compared to the standard practices. The results indicate that humic substances, amino acids, and their addition to fertilization can aid in the initial formation of coffee plants
