¿Qué es el
osciloscopio?
4. Permite ver la forma de onda de
la tensión, de la corriente.
Además, es ampliamente
utilizado en áreas de servicio
técnico, ya que es capaz de hacer
mediciones de variaciones de
corriente eléctrica precisas, con
el objetivo de visualizar fallas,
diagnosticar averías o monitorear
diferentes procesos.
¿Para qué sirve?
6. PARTE FRONTAL
Partes del osciloscopio
•Display (pantalla): Algunos equipos cuentan con pantallas touch, esta nos
muestra las formas de onda y las mediciones realizadas.
•Botón de encendido: Este se utiliza para prender o apagar el instrumento.
•Canales analógicos: Son las entradas para las señales analógicas, normalmente
aquí es donde se conecta la punta de osciloscopio para conectarnos al circuito.
Existen osciloscopios de 2, 4, 6 u 8 canales analógicos.
•Canal RF: Conexión al analizador de espectro disponible en los osciloscopios de
dominio mixto.
•Canales digitales: La entrada del analizador lógico en los osciloscopios de
señales mixtas (analógicas y digitales). Dependiendo el modelo, el número de
entradas digitales.
7. •Botones de Menú: Aquí se encuentra la navegación para todas las opciones
del osciloscopio, como guardar, imprimir, utilidades, hora y fecha, etcétera.
•Escala horizontal (base de tiempo): En ella se regula la posición y escala en
tiempo de la señal, es decir, determinamos cuantos segundos, milisegundos,
microsegundos por división vamos a visualizar en el display.
•Escala Vertical (Volts por división):Sirve para regular la amplitud de la señal
en el display, para apreciar mejor los detalles o distintas señales.
•Trigger (Disparo): El disparo nos permite sincronizar el muestreo y la captura
de la señal en algún punto específico. En pocas palabras, nos permite decidir
qué parte de la forma de onda capturada ver en el display.
•Botones control de adquisición: Permiten configurar la velocidad de captura,
la longitud de registro utilizada, velocidad de muestreo entre otros
parámetros.
9. En la parte trasera se encuentran principalmente conectores y
salidas.
• Ventilación: Esta rejilla permite un buen flujo de aire para evitar
sobrecalentamiento.
• Conexión AC: Aquí va el cable de alimentación para poder
energizar el equipo.
• Salida del generador de funciones: Algunos osciloscopios
cuentan con generador de funciones integrado
• Salida auxiliar: Tiene muchas funciones, pero entre ellas es la de
sincronización o automatización.
• Puertos de comunicación y video: Cuentan con conectores USB,
LAN LXI, HDMI, VGA entre otros para control a través de
computadora, automatización y mostrar datos en pantallas
externas.

12. Usos y aplicaciones del osciloscopio en
la industria
Las funciones básicas de un osciloscopio, en general, tienen que ver con
determinar cuál es la frecuencia de una señal eléctrica, además de la
amplitud de un voltaje. Además, sirven para poder identificar y diferenciar
la corriente alterna de la continua. Con todo ello, sirven sobre todo para
identificar posibles fallos o malos funcionamientos en un circuito y también
para tener una idea de la magnitud del “ruido” que viaja con una señal.
Los osciloscopios no se limitan a la electrónica, sino que se pueden
adaptar para captar las señales de una amplia variedad de fenómenos que
vayan cambiando con el tiempo.
13. 1.Depuración de circuitos electrónicos: Los ingenieros electrónicos utilizan osciloscopios
para diagnosticar y solucionar problemas en circuitos electrónicos. Pueden identificar
problemas como señales distorsionadas, ruido eléctrico, fluctuaciones de voltaje, etc.
2.Medición de señales analógicas y digitales: Los osciloscopios pueden medir señales
analógicas y digitales, lo que los hace útiles para analizar sistemas mixtos y comprobar la
integridad de señales digitales en circuitos electrónicos.
3.Pruebas de calidad y fabricación: En la industria, los osciloscopios se utilizan para
garantizar la calidad de los productos electrónicos durante la fase de fabricación, verificando
que las señales cumplan con las especificaciones.
4.Análisis de redes eléctricas: En la industria eléctrica, los osciloscopios se usan para
analizar la calidad de la energía eléctrica, medir la distorsión armónica, verificar la eficiencia
energética y solucionar problemas de potencia.
