This process is easier than it sounds once you learn a few simple tools and techniques, and no “real” programming experience is required to get started. SQL has attained widespread adoption, but Business Intelligence tools still use their own higher level languages based upon a multidimensional paradigm. Composable calculations are what is missing from SQL, and we propose a new kind of column, called a measure, that attaches a calculation to a table. Like regular tables, tables with measures are composable and closed when used in queries.
SQL-with-measures has the power, conciseness and reusability of multidimensional languages but retains SQL semantics. Measure invocations can be expanded in place to simple, clear SQL.
To define the evaluation semantics for measures, we introduce context-sensitive expressions (a way to evaluate multidimensional expressions that is consistent with existing SQL semantics), a concept called evaluation context, and several operations for setting and modifying the evaluation context.

3. CAPABILITIES
• You can search results very fast because it is
powered by a cutting edge search technology
called Solr.
• Grow My Search currently supports English and
Japanese, but it is easy to enable Chinese mode
and other languages as well.
4. IT’S NOT JUST CRAWL AND SEARCH.
• You can ask other search engines to fetch URLs to
start the crawler’s starting point according to your
query.
• Right now, it uses Contextual Web, (currently Usearch),
Yacy and Searx.
• Contextual Web / Usearch was developed by an Israeli
ex-IBM researcher and his co-founder.
5. GROW MY SEARCH CAN BE ACCESSED FROM
SMARTPHONE / TABLET.
• Since Grow My Search leverages Bootstrap, it is
able to be accessed easily from smartphones and
tablets.
• This will enable growing search results on the go,
and since the crawling is done on the server side,
heavy-lifting will be done on the server.
6. OUR TARGET AUDIENCE / CUSTOMERS
• We hope to target analysts, researchers and government
who need more information that can be captured by
regular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Baidu.
• Since the search results can be only seen by the user and
each user has their own personal search database, it can
be customized to the user’s liking.
7. PORTABILITY & SCALABILITY
• Since Grow My Search uses Solr as search,
it can be even be served on small Single
Board Computers like Raspberry Pi 4. This
means that it can be used in a place where
there are small wattage of power, for
example in remote locations. Grow My
Search can also be scaled quickly to
various cloud providers since it is based
on Docker containers.
8. FUTURE ROADMAP
• After getting enough funding, we plan to:
• Research on drill down function by using AI
technology.
• Develop a smart filtering engine so we can filter
unwanted or harmful content.
• Build a more efficient web crawler based on Python
etc.
9. FUTURE ROADMAP PART 2
• We also hope to develop an analysis mode so the
user can use Grow My Search as a research /
analysis tool.
• We plan to get feedbacks from researchers and
analysts.
