2. Celebrity documentaries
Usually follow the day to day life of a celebrity or celebrity couple.
Gives the audience insight, whether a truthful or glorified, life of a
celebrity.
Reported by a presenter or a voiceover.
The audiences opinion can be greatly influenced to either
sympathise or resent aspects of their lfiestyle.
Target audience is typically young adults or teenagers who find an
interest in celebrity news.
Examples:
Kerry and Me, What Katie did next, Peter Andre: The next chapter

3. Documentary film/mockumentary
The audience is largely dependent on the content which can vary
greatly.
Material studied can be up to date issues such a
weight, religion, other cultural aspects, war etc.
Offer the audience a different way of viewing a documentary which
some may find engaging.
Presenter often talks to the camera before undergoing their own
journey to discover more about their topic.
Examples:
Supersize me, Borat and Bruno (mockumentaries)

4. Conspiracy documentaries
 The reason for them in to reveal a new argument to why and how
a historical event happened.
 Typically subjective to only one point of view to persuade the
audience.
 Usually feature voiceovers of presenting explaining their theory
while presenting footage as evidence and interviews to support
their claim.
 Usually has a wider audience dependant on conspiracy.
Examples:
9/11 attacks, did a man land on the moon and area 51.

5. Dispatches
Often slightly older audiences that are interested in current affairs.
Current affairs discovered through undercover cameras to reveal the
true workings of associations.
To reveal the negative aspects of associates and what they sweep
under the rug to misplace a form of trust within the audience
Examples:
Undercover social worker after baby P incident
