A rarely-known and used command from HP’s OV toolkit that can check for variety types of
clusters.
# /opt/OV/bin/ovclusterinfo -a
Display the type of cluster which is installed. Possible values are:
- Microsoft Clustering Services (Windows),
- MC/ServiceGuard (HP-UX),
- VERITAS Cluster Server (Solaris),
- Sun Cluster (Solaris),
- TRU64 Cluster (TCR),
- Red Hat Advanced Server (RHAS),
- HACMP (AIX),
- Unknown (I am not sure what HP means by this!).
An example for Serviceguard cluster on HP-UX server:
