1) Technical Director role
Department Overview

Primary Responsibilities
As a Technical Director you would be expected to be an expert in the domain of Archiving & eDiscovery.
The role would require you to focus on 3 areas
a) Consulting with responsibility – Providing technical consultation to the Dev, QA, Automation
teams thus developing quality and scalable products
b) Be the visionary for the group - Lead the vision in terms of Technical Leadership, Innovation
and thus lead the team towards out of the box thinking
c) Evangelist– Influence the team to be Product Owners, Adapting & Implementing best practices,
guiding/coaching senior individual contributors
Other Responsibilities
Provide technical direction and advice to management in long range planning for new or projected
long-range
areas of software research.
Responsible for system-level design specifications and technology plans. Review designs
level
developed by other team members.
Regularly interacts with senior management and multiple departments on highly technical/complex

scientific issues.
Frequently interacts with external subject matter experts to conduct research, gather facts, &
analyze information on specific area of specializati

2. Qualifications
15+ years of experience on Enterprise Product development. Should have sound domain
knowledge of Archiving, eDiscovery, or relevant technology. Highly creative and innovation in
nature.
Fluent in C/C++, C#, Java, and object oriented design tools; advanced skills and experience with
Win32, Sharepoint, different File Systems. Experience working using Agile, proven technical
leadership;
Quick adoption and evaluation of relevance of evolving technologies
Preferred education
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Qualifications
• 12+ years of software development experience
• BS Degree or Equivalent
• Experience in designing and reviewing designs for large software projects, fulfilling both explicit
and implicit requirements
• Ability to analyze, tune memory usage and performance of highly complex systems
• Ability to develop high quality designs and code with respect to testability, internationalization,
scalability, and fault tolerance
• Outstanding C/C++, inter-process and network programming skills
