• DualBoot has launched a new smartphone named
– Duet D1
• Duet D1 is a dual-boot smartphone
that is capable of running both Android 5.0 Lollipop as
well as Windows phone 10 Operating systems.
• Once you switch on the device you will be presented
with 2 options of either booting into Android OS or
Windows phone OS.
• DualBoot is promoting its new Duet smartphone as a
flagship smartphone with a Tag Line as :-
• “Best Of Both Worlds”

processor clocked at 2.2GHz.

Systems , Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 13MP rear camera,5MP front camera, Qhd
LED Screen, Dual sim etc
• Regional languages support, Easy to operate and phones cabinets are made
with fibre as it can easily be replaced at low-cost if damaged.
• Due to two Operating systems you get a large no of applications from the
Android Play Store as well asWindows phone Market.

• Due to a new Business startup after-sales customer service is present at
limited number of places as compared to other leading brands like Nokia,
Samsung etc
• Many consumers in this group still trust Samsung,Sony as they have a good
brand name and goodwill in this section of market.
Opportunities :-
• DualBoot is providing a smartphone with two Operating systems at
affordable price.
• Duet D1 has all customizations options available onAndroid platform and
the simple Live tile UI (user interface) present onWindows phone.
• Consumers won’t have to buy two different smartphone for using two
different operating systems due to dualbooting capability.
• Consumers gets access to tons of Apps already available on Goole Play
store andWindows market place.
Threats :-
• Major threat fromApple products like i-Phones because of their well
established brand name and superior quality.
• Threat from lower range price well known brands like Nokia, Samsung, HTC,
LG.
• And finally the local brands like Micromax , Spice , Xolo etc
• Segment the market according to the following ways:-
• Gender-We can segment the market by gender by bringing out cell phones
of different colour as female are generally attracted towards bright colors
such as pink, red, white etc.
• Female generally go for mini, slim, light weight phones.
• Income-We can segment the market according to income by bringing out
cell phones of different price range.
• Status- A person may buy goods to show his status. People trend to buy
costly items to show their status belonging.

• For a product to be successful it must be easy to access. Now a
day’s mobile phones are easy to access as they are available in
supermarkets, company outlets (Mobile Shopee , Specialized
electronic outlets including Vijay Sales , Chroma Store ,Malls
etc).
Our Marketing Plans
Promotion:-
• Promotion involves providing information regarding the product to the
customers through various media platforms like Print Advertising, Outdoor
Advertising, Covert Advertising, Surrogate Advertising etc.
• Celebrity Advertising and Broadcasting Advertising. The famous Cricketer
Virat Kohli is selected as the brand ambassador for our Duet Smartphone.
Prices:-
• Price is a key factor in the selling of a product, and is usually the one that is
open to most change based on different pricing strategies.The three main
factors affecting the amount charged for a product or service are cost of
production, customer demand and competition.We have launched a our
Duet smartphone - priced at $236.40 (approximately Rs. 15999).
Our Smartphone Packagings
•Estimated Business Cost is 2crore.
• 1.2 crores for setting up the manufacturing plant.
• 0.8 crores for setting up various service centers across the country

• If our product fails we would start our market reasearch
and find out the exact cause for our failure and start again with new hopes.
• Customer feedback will be given most importance and priorities would be
rearranged according to consumer requirements.

  • 11. • Segment the market according to the following ways:- • Gender-We can segment the market by gender by bringing out cell phones of different colour as female are generally attracted towards bright colors such as pink, red, white etc. • Female generally go for mini, slim, light weight phones. • Income-We can segment the market according to income by bringing out cell phones of different price range. • Status- A person may buy goods to show his status. Promotion:- • Promotion involves providing information regarding the product to the customers through various media platforms like Print Advertising, Outdoor Advertising, Covert Advertising, Surrogate Advertising etc. • Celebrity Advertising and Broadcasting Advertising. The famous Cricketer Virat Kohli is selected as the brand ambassador for our Duet Smartphone.

Prices:- • Price is a key factor in the selling of a product, and is usually the one that is open to most change based on different pricing strategies.The three main factors affecting the amount charged for a product or service are cost of production, customer demand and competition.We have launched a our Duet smartphone - priced at $236.40 (approximately Rs. 15999).
  • 22. •Estimated Business Cost is 2crore. • 1.2 crores for setting up the manufacturing plant. • 0.8 crores for setting up various service centers across the country Estimated Business Cost
