Idea Description​: During the final semester at PESIT, me along with three other friends had this idea of
building a system where people who own a car can share it with people who are in need of a ride while
travelling to a particular location. This idea was born out of the frustration to solve the biggest problem
in most of the cosmopolitan cities across the world; traffic congestion.
● Connect riders with car owners using real time ride-sharing system (Car pool)
● Powerful backend in Ruby on rails
● REDIS​ cache to retrieve frequently ferched information to match riders to owners
● Micro service to calculate shortest possible path and assign riders to car owners
● Selected at “​Alpha Surge Conference​” Feb 2015 Bangalore
● Numerous VC’s approached us for seed funding
