19. ANDROID
IOS
You see that Apple always sets the SAFARI browser as
default whereas in Android you have the choice to
use any browser you install and also set it to default.
20. We can customize the heck out of Android and
make it your own whereas in IOS you have the
same old 5 x 4 grid. You can even make an
android look like an IOS device.
21. Apps in IOS can
have the back
button
anywhere, it’s the
choice of
developers but in
Android it’s
always in the
same place.
22. Sharing in apps
is far better in
Android. It
automatically
integrates all
the apps
installed and
let’s you share
something with
them whereas in
IOS you can only
share with the
apps that Apple
has included in
their OS.

24. Steve Job that 2011 will be the year of
copycats…. Well sorry Steve, it looks that 2013
is the year of copycats courtesy of Apple’s IOS.
Let’s view some examples…
26. Which is Better?
OS Market Share
Total App Sales Revenue
Revenue
Developer Interest
Easiness of PL
Platform
Multitasking
Security
OS Upgrades
App Approval
Payments & Avail.
27. It
may seem too crude a question.
There are just too many ways to define
“winning,” and neither platform leads in
every area. But here’s the closest thing to an
objective answer I can manage.
