No, I weren’t, she is a calm lovely girl, my lovely child.
Q2: Did you speak to her that night?
No, she ran in and straight outof the house, I justthought that she
was in a hurry.
Q3: Wereyou notconcerned?
Of courseI wasconcerned. I rang and rangher, left her voicemails. I
was getting really worried.

Q1: What wereyou doingafter school?
Wewere walkingto the shop after school as we usually do, justa
normalday.
Q2: Wherewere you?
Wealways walk through a subway instead of crossing the motorway
as its safer.
2. Q3: Did you know whatwas going to happen next?
I had no ideawhat wasgoing to happen as I said it wasa normalday.
SECOND INTERVIEW:
Q1: How did it happen?
It all happened so quickly; I didn’tknow what to do.
Q2: Do you know why it happened?
At the time, no, but now I know the reason.
Q3: What’s the reason?
I don’tfeel confortable with answeringthis question.

Q1: What happened that night?
Wewere out and her boyfriend Joshua came to get Rosie. He rangme
saying she was about to something stupid, he was panicked and
flustered.
Q2: Do you know why she did that?
Basically, Lucy slept with Joshua and he told Rosie. She’s goneand
flipped out, left josh screaming about how mad she is telling
everyone, she’s gonnakick off.
Q3: How do you feel?
I can’t believe it, she’s not who I thought she was. I can’t believe
Lucy’sgone.

Q1: Wereyou awareof what was happeningthat night?
Wehad no idea what was happening, when werealized she didn’t
come home at the time that she told us she was, Kevin called the
police.
Q2: What about you Kevin?
When she didn’tcome home, we started panic and that’s when I
called the police.
Q3: How are you feeling now?
I’m absolutely devastated, I can’t believe our little girl has gone. I’m
tryingto come to terms with it. I think she needsjustice for what has
happened.
Q4: Kevin?
Obviously we are very distortbut there’s not a lot wecan do now.
Q5: And whatwould you like to happen next?
Whoever did this would need to be taught a lesson.
