CANCER
Osteosarcoma- develops in growing bone tissue.
Chondrosarcoma-develops in cartilage.
Ewing Sarcoma- develops in immature nerve tissue in bone
marrow.
5. CAUSE OF BONE CANCER
Researchers have found that there is not a define cause for
bone cancer but they have found that Osteosarcoma is most
found in people that have had a high dose of external radiation
therapy or people with certain anti- cancer drugs.
6. IS BONE CANCER RARE OR NOT?
Primary bone cancer is rare.
In Osteosarcoma this mostly common in the ages of 10 and 19

X-Rays help show the location, size, and shape of a bone
tumor.
A bone scan, which is a test of a small amount of radioactive
material is injected through a blood vessel and through the
bloodstream.
An angiogram can help show an x-ray of blood vessels.
9. TREATMENT
Treatment usually involves with surgery, chemotherapy,
radiation therapy, cryosurgery.
When you have surgery the surgeon removes the entire tumor.
Chemotherapy is the use of anticancer drugs to kill cancer
cells.
Radiation therapy is the use of high energy x-rays to kill cancer
cells.
Cryosurgery is the use of liquid nitrogen to freeze and kill
