The author likes the ending of the story "The Railway Children" because it is dramatic and exciting. At the end, Bobbie discovers evidence that clears her wrongly imprisoned father of spying charges. When reunited, Bobbie hugs her father joyfully. Later, Bobbie saves an oncoming train using flags made from her dress, and the family is rewarded with gold watches. The author says the ending teaches about the importance of family and shows how the mother remained brave and patient despite their difficult circumstances without the father.

Nesbit.the story revolves around an ordinary family which consists of a
Father, Mother and their three children. The family led a comfortable
life in London but everything changed after the Father was taken away
as he was suspected selling government secrets to another country. They
had to live a different lifestyle unlike in London. I like the ending of the
story.
The ending of the story start when one day Bobbie goes to the
railway station to collect some old magazines. Perks wraps the
magazines with an old newspaper.On the way home, Bobbies stop to
rest. She reads the newspaper. She is shocked when she know that her
Father is in prison for spying.When Bobbies get home,she shows her
Mother the newspaper.Mother told her to not to believe for what she has
read. She tells Bobbie that her father was arrested because of some
letters in his desk. Someone put them there because he wanted her
father`s job. Later, Bobbie writes a letter to the old gentleman. She asks
him for help to find the real spy. The old gentleman tell her not to tell
anybody yet about the secret.He definitely believe that Bobbie’s father is
innocent at all.Bobbie felt relief to hear it from the old gentleman.Finally
they united together as a happy family.I absolutely love the ending of the
story.
I like the ending of the story because it makes me feel excited to
read the story continuously as the story is full with dramatic part.For
example,Bobbie screams with joy and hug her father and tell him that
she really miss him.Other than that,Bobbie and her siblings walk

2. together along the top of the hill.Suddenly they hear a noise and see half
the hillside crash down onto the railway line below.Without any
hestitation,she used her red petticoats to make six flags to warn the
train.The train comes down the track too fast.Finally,she manage to save
the train.Each of them are rewarded a gold watch by the railway
company.This story taught me how much a father mean to me.This is
proven when their lifestyle turn in a blink of an eye without their
father.Their life is not as before,they live in a poor life.Althouth they had
been through a lot of test which make their life suffer,Mother always be
patient and brave to do the best for her children.She wrote stories to earn
their living without her husband as she want too ensured that the
children have enough food to eat,comfortable place to live and nice
clothes to put on.This evidence strongly prove that Mother is a brave and
patient person.
As a conclusion, I have learnt a lot of moral value from the ending
of the story which I can apply in my daily life. I should be a responsible
student to my school and teachers and I also instrumental to my family
members. Besides, I will never give in doing something no matter how
hard the situation is. As an example when it comes to examination
weeks. I have to struggle to achieve an excellent result in every subject
even though I had failed in my exams. As a good friend, I have to help
my friend. In a friendship we have to help each other even though some
of my friends treat me badly.
