There are many online tools for generating QR codes
which you can use in the classroom.

in a code:
• A short piece of text
• Website address
• Email addresss
• Phone number
• Audio Files
• Videos

8. Math / Foreign Language/Alternative
Create a more realistic class shop
Using life skills (money use), I know that
many of us set up “class shops”. Why not
add another dimension to this by pricing up
some of the class shop items with QR codes
that students can scan to find out the price
in the same way that items would have their
barcodes scanned at the checkout of a real
shop. After a while, you could have a ‘sale’
and get students to adjust the prices linked
to the AR codes by 10% to extend the
learning.
