SSPC is pleased to announce that effective February 11, 2008, the American Bureau of Shipping
(ABS), the world’s second largest commercial shipping classification society, has approved SSPC’s
PCI program as equivalent to NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 and FROSIO Inspector Level III.
Lloyds Register Approves PCI Program in accordance with the requirements
of IMO MSC215(82) IACS PR34 and UISC223 Competency standards.
Effective January 15, 2011, RINA (Registro Italiano Navale), the 150 year-old Genova, Italybased ship classification society, has approved SSPC PCI Program as equivalent to NACE
Coating Inspector Level 2 and FROSIO Inspector Level III.
SSPC,11 Şubat 2008 tarihinden geçerli olmak üzere, American Bureau of Shipping
(ABS,dünyanın en geniş ikinci büyük ticari gemi sınıflandırma birliği) tarafından SSPC PCI

Course Description(Kurs açıklaması)
The objective of this course is to thoroughly train individuals in the proper methods of
inspecting surface preparation and installation of industrial and marine protective coatings and
lining systems on an array of industrial structures and facilities. There are no prerequisites to
attend the PCI Course. However, candidates should be prepared for an intense and fast-paced
week of training with evening homework and study in order to cover an extensive amount of
information in 6 days.
Bu kursun amacı,endüstriyel yapı ve tesislerin,endüstriyel ve marine koruyucu kaplama ve astar
sistemleri ile korunması ve bu yüzeylerin doğru yöntemlerle kontrol edilmesi hakkında
inspektörleri etraflıca yetiştirmektir. SSPC PCI kursuna katılmak için herhangi bir önkoşul
bulunmamaktadır.Buna ragmen, adaylar 6 günlük yoğun bilgi aktarımını özümseyebilmek
için,her akşam ödev ve quizler ile geçecek yoğun ve tempolu bir haftaya hazırlıklı olmalıdırlar.

Course Format(kurs formatı)
The course provides participants five days of intensive training and includes multiple
workshops and problem solving exercises so that participants may immediately apply the
learning in a classroom setting, without the pressures of production and project schedules. In
order to enhance the learning environment and illustrate the importance of teamwork, the
workshops and exercises will be done in small teams.
This course is completed with a comprehensive written examination and a practical (instrument
use)examination. Students passing both components of the basic course exam at 70% or higher
and meeting the prerequisites for certification can take the written and hands-on certification
exams on day 6. A passing grade of 80% or higher on the written and hands-on certification
exam is required to become an SSPC Certified Coating Inspector.
Kurs katılımcılara 5 gün boyunca yoğun bir eğitim verir ve
birden fazla atölye
çalışması,problem çözme yetisi verilerek katılımcıların üretim ve proje planlarını baskı
olmadan, bir sınıf ortamında öğrenmeleri sağlanmaktadır..Öğrenme ortamı geliştirmek ve
takım çalışmasının önemini göstermek amacıyla, atölye çalışmaları ve alıştırmalar küçük
takımlar halinde yapılacaktır.
Bu kurs kapsamlı bir yazılı sınav ve pratik (alet kullanımlı) sınav ile tamamlanmaktadır. % 70
veya daha yüksek temel kurs sınavını (iki bileşen,teorik ve pratik) geçen katılımcılar,
sertifikasyon sınavına(level 2) girmek için ön şartı elde etmiş olacaklardır. % 80 veya daha
yüksek not alındığında SSPC sertifikalı Level 2 PCI denetçesi olmaya hak kazınılmış
olunacaktır.
