● This environment opens more opportunities to ask questions and to experience
a personally tailored learning session.
● Pair up employees who have similar jobs but different backgrounds. Watch the

Notas do Editor

  1. We hope you walk away with a great sense of valuable insights into practical ways you can close these gaps, ultimately helping your employees transfer valuable knowledge between generations.
  2. What are some simple things you could organize knowledge transfer on? What are the some more complex tings? How do you feel when you learn the simple things? The Complex things? Risk? Why would we do it this way?
  3. Ask the audience: How might you set the stage the right way? How might you do this? What would you say? Examples: “I’m pairing you two up so that you have the best chance of success, John here has been a top performer for years, you will benefit and excel through his experiences” “I’d like the three of you to work on this idea, here’s the challenge when you come back to share it with me - I’ll ask one of you to review your findings when you get here”
  4. Tony asks Gabe: While researching the content for this ebook what top 2 KEY takeways did you have that you most related to especially when starting a new job. Gabe: Two things that popped out at me that I could relate to were observations 1. 2.
  5. Relates this to safety training in a conference rooms. Tony asks Gabe: about attention span - use of technology during the learning process especially as it relate to safety training Gabe talks about - everything I do uses technology, asking me to sit unengaged listen lecture for 60 minutes unengaged simply is listening is pretty old school. There needs to be a tech component throughout, videos and or a lot hands on experience.
  6. Relates this to something that only happens every once in a while vs. all the time. Gabe asks Tony: In your work experience what do you think is the most widely generalized assumption about millennials that could have a major impact on a Baby Boomer/Gen X’s willingness to work with a millennial? Tony’ Answers: I think that one of the most widely stated over-generalizations and myths Baby Boomers / GenX’rs have of Millenials is that they all don’t want to work hard or that feel they know it all or entitle to things faster, way faster than their generation. Tony’s shares story about his personal experience in working with Millennials.
