- Congratulatory message for BASS: DICT Sec Eliseo Rio Jr announced that DICT will soon sign a Memorandum of understanding to provide DICT with internet bandwidth monitoring system for a period of one year. According to Secretary Rio Jr, "It will help DICT come up with policies and programs to improve the internet speed of ISPs and TElcos. As you know the president has mandated us to make our internet speed faster and cheaper. And we need a reliable measuring tool to base our decision. I wish project bass.org all the best of luck and success in this very laudable endeavor."

- Nationwide average bandwidths by Carrier. Globe is blue Smart is red Sun is yellow. The upper chart shows the bandwidth, while the lower chart shows the number of measures BASS received from volunteers. Mention the Yugatech effect
- For end consumers, the BASS data can be turned into a Choropleth map. These two side by side maps show bandwidth ‘winners’ per province based on most recent 30 days worth of data. The data is filtered 5-95%th percentile mean.
- For the Telcos themselves, BASS can show each carrier their strong and weak areas of bandwidth. Blue is for Globe, Red is for Smart, and Green is for Sun.
- Again for consumers, BASS also provides advanced analytics that looks at how much bandwidth each handset model can squeeze out given a certain signal strength. - This is a graph from Uber Mobility tracking BASS also received speed and bearing info aside from GPS coordinates. We can use this in the future to produce traffic and mobility analysis.
- Hello. I would never have expected that Project BASS will reach this wonderful milestone. Seems like it was just yesterday when Sir Wilson initiated the “volunteerism” online on facebook group. I can still remember the initial app we deployed which was so buggy, and now amazingly awesome because of good people who volunteered their time/effort. To tje volunteers, Salamat!, you guys are the heart of this innitiative/cause. Continue reporting bandwidth speed, dont lose streak. We all deserve better internet and these collective help from you guys will have huge impact in the long run. To telco operators and decision makers, we so believe Project BASS can really help you. as what Wes Dyer said : “Make it correct, make it clear, make it concise, make it fast. In that order.". It feels good to give back to our beloved Pilipinas even in small ways. I may not be there in this very special milestone of Peoject Bass - but my heart is celebrating with you all, the wonderful people behind bass - Sir Wilson, Sir Art, Fleire, Olay, Tzar, Andrew, A-ar and Melby. It felt really good doing something for our country with you all. Without you guys, there wont be a Project Bass.
