2. First Step
First, go to https://www.goarmyed.com/ and either
log in or create an account.
Next you will click the “My education record” tab and
scroll down the page very shortly until you see a tab
titled “eFile”.
This is where you will upload your supporting
documentation outlined in the next slide.
A note about eFile, The documents you upload must
be PDF documents which can easily be done at
www.pdfonline.com
3. Supporting Documentation
On eFile you will need to upload the following
documentation:
A copy of your billing statement
A copy of your detailed schedule
A copy of your degree plan which can be your
SIGNED CC104R, a transcript, or a copy of your bear
den for Potsdam CDTs.
At the conclusion of each semester you must also
upload your final grades.
4. Applying for TA
After your supporting documentation is
uploaded, you will scroll up and click “home” on the
left side of the page.
Once at the home page you will then click on the
“request TA” tab.
You will then enter all requested information, and
after each class you will click “submit” and then click
“add another class” until you have added all of your
classes.
5. After You apply
After you apply you will receive emails via AKO
updating your status.
If there are any problems they will be annotated in
“my education record”.

You have until the add/drop deadline at your
respective school to apply for TA.
Your $4,500 cap resets every October.
