- Thank you for inviting me to speak at your study day. Many years ago Librarian at Highland Health Sciences Library. Also was member of Association of Scottish Health Services Librarians (ASHSL) now SHINE. In this presentation I will try and bring together three of my work roles: Practising librarian: Service Development Manager (Quality, Human Resources. Training, Marketing, Team Leader for Admin) at Loughborough University. Prior to this, worked at Northumbria University where I co-odrinated library service to 3000+ health students Also Honroary Research Fellow: Department of Information Science. Did evaluation of English NHS National Framework for National Library for Health. Current research includes evaluating use of library space by students, students information use in assessed work and research centre use of university library service Also Editor of Health Information and Libraries Journal official journal of CILIP’s Health Libraries Group .
