• VS2012 or VS2010 with Service Pack 1
• ASP.NET MVC 4
• Microsoft Web Publish for Visual Studio 2010

• A Windows Azure subscription with the Web
Sites Preview enabled
6. Creating a Web site in Management
Portal
• Login to http://windows.azure.com/
• Select “WEB SITES”
• Click “CREATE A WEB SITE”
• COMPUTE -> WEBSITE -> QUICK CREATE
• Provide a unique namespace in the URL
• Click “CREATE WEBSITE”
7. Downloading the Publish Settings
• Go to “WEB SITES”
• Double click the created website
• Click “Download publishing profile”
• Save the “PublishSettings” file into your local
machine.
8. Publish to Azure
• Go to your project
• Publish your project
• In the Profiles section, browse and select the
downloaded PublishSettings file.
