Beliefs
In Nepal there is still prevalence of evil
social beliefs.
Society believe that giving birth to son is a
easy path to heaven after death.
Birth of girl is taken as god curse or low
prestige in society.
The birth of son is celebrated but the birth of
a daughter is filled with pains.
Sons are to be showered with more love,
respect, better food and proper health care.

8. Boys are encouraged to be tough and outgoing
but girls should to be homebound and shy.

Rape, girls-women trafficking, child labour,

Gender inequality is a big social problem to be
solved. It has made women difficult to live
