twisting them into position.
They are secured by friction alone
.then they are connected using
steel connectors

18. REMOVABLE AND FOLDABLE PARTITION IN
TIMBER
What is Wooden partition ?
Wooden partition walls are lightweight and easy
to construct but they come with some
drawbacks. They are neither sound-proof nor
fire-proof and are prone to get affected by
dampness which might lead to insect infestation.
Wood partition walls are of two types: standard
and trussed. Standard partitions have vertical
members or studs that are placed between the
higher horizontal (head) and lower horizontal
(sill) members. Trussed partitions are self-
supporting and are used when you need to
construct a partition on a story above the first
one and there is no support like another
partition beneath it.
19. REMOVABLE AND FOLDABLE PARTITION WALL
• Removable partitions are used where the walls of a room are frequently opened to
form one large floor area. REMOVABLE=EASY TO DISMENTAL +EASY TO REASSSEMBLE.
• The foldable wall partition has full panel end members which provide support,
rigidity, privacy, and noise reduction. They fold and are on wheels enabling mobility
and ease of storage.

29. The multi-use concept
Imagine being able to
negotiate your space to work
to your advantage, having the
ability to single-handedly
transform a large area into
multiple smaller spaces with
minimal effort within a few
moments.
-Excellent quality and durability of materials for intense
long-term use
-Economic construction that fully harmonizes with
current health & safety legislation
-Optimal transparency of the dividing materials offer
visibility with other people customers and natural light
-Elegant design and the possibility of unlimited
combinations that update the aesthetics of the space
30. These can scale from floor to ceiling and move
effortlessly with their spring-loaded wheels. These
sliding partitions do not need to be attached to the
carcass / internal storage and can stand
independently.
It comprises of panels which are moved one at a time and
interlock to form a partition wall, with a sound seal
extending top and bottom.
This arrangement allows you to set up even the largest of
installations with minimum of effort.
In location the panels offer all the properties and appearance
of a permanent partition wall.
Adding space flexibility and sound reduction effects

46. INTRODUCTION
• CGI was invented in 1820s in Britain by Henry
Robinson Palmer.
• It was originally made from Wrought Iron.
• It is light ,strong,corrosion-resistant and easily
transported.
• M.S sheets are manufactured using best grade
steel and is widely applied in construction
industry.
• These sheets have become the most preferred
material for various construction
purposes,particularly roofing and walling.
54. TYPES OF M.S. ROOF SHEET
• Mostly used in agricultural buildings, M.S roofing sheets feature repetitive
folds on their surface. Because of their unique shape, they offer years of
reliable utility and enhanced strength. Their M.S.design with ridges and
grooves make them stronger than before. The wavy construction paves the
way for increased strength across smaller surface area

57. MANUFACTURING PROCESS
• Polycarbonate (PC) is an engineering plastic with outstanding
transparency, impact resistance, and heat resistance. These
unique properties have resulted in applications such as
bulletproof windows, unbreakable lenses, compact discs, etc.
About 2.7 million tons of polycarbonate are produced annually
worldwide.
• The most common manufacturing process is based on the
reaction of bisphenol A (BPA or Bis-A) and phosgene in the
interfacial polymerization process. Here, disodium saltof BPA
dissolved in water reacts with phosgene dissolved in a
chlorinated organic solvent such as CH2Cl2 (methylene chloride).
However, the phosgene process entails a number of drawbacks
including the toxicity of phosgene, the use of low-boiling-point
solvent, and the large quantity of waste water containing
methylene chloride which must be treated. The use of
concentrated sodium hydroxide and hydrogen chloride adds the
problem of corrosion that should be considered.
58. • Nowadays, the production and use of phosgene in the factories have
been very severely restricted worldwide. There are aSabic Innovative
Plastics (formerly GE Plastics), Bayer, and Asahi/Chi Mei have
independently developed and are using non-phosgene processes.
They all take the same overall approach where polymerization relies
on the transesterification of diphenyl carbonate (DPC) with bisphenol
A. This is more commonly termed as the melt process which has the
advantage of making a product undiluted form that may be pelletized
directly. Disadvantages include the need for equipment to withstand
high temperatures and high vacuum. With lower plant construction
costs and lower feedstock costs, it is anticipated that this kind of non-
phosgene process will be widely adopted for PC production
throughout the world.

65. Fixing:-
Our range of Polycarbonate Fixing Buttons are designed to
help your Polycarbonate Sheets in place, in windy conditions
they reduce the chance of sheets being dislodged.
Each pack contains 10 fixing buttons, 10 screw hole covers,
and 10 foam compression gaskets. The foam compression
gaskets are designed to stop water from getting into the hole
where the screw fixes the Polycarbonate Sheet.
66. Basic installation advice
• Use a sharp steel bit instead of a wood one.
• Drill at least 40mm away from the edge.
• Drill between the ribs.
• Do not over tighten the screw fixing and squash the
sheets – as a guide the button should not touch the sheet.
• Using an 18mm drill bit will allow the sheet to move due to
natural expansion and contraction.
• Use to fix into purlins, noggins and rafters.
