Since january 2013, Massimo Zanardini is a PhD student at the University of Brescia (Italy). He graduated in Management Engineering in March 2012, with a thesis about Vendor Managed Inventory in fast moving consumer good context, after six months of stage in a relevant food international company. Actually is member of the Supply Chain and Service Management Research Centre (www.scsm.it) at the same university. His research deal with new digital technology (additive manufacturing, augmented reality, internet of things, artificial intelligence), with specific focus on how these technologies will improve effectiveness and efficiency and generate innovation in manufacturing systems.
